History: It's thought of to be easy to be the big fish in the small tank, to intimidate others with a loud voice and a strong figure cutting through the water. But that doesn't mean that Zahur didn't have the hard parts of that too.
It's difficult to be the big fish in the small tank, to be thought of as cold and aloof because of gifts of strength and size, to have everyone pull away from you or think you need nothing.
Until Paki came along. Gentle, loving Paki, who protected Zahur from himself, who brought the mer back from the edge of destruction...

History: No one thought much of Paki, the quiet swimmer in the deep water who cared more for his books than for the other games being played about. That is, no one thought much of him until he watched closely, followed the school bully around for a bit, and broke through the icy facade Zahur put on.
Only he saw the dark pain beneath the surface of the anger, and soothed it away...

History: Perhaps the saddest story is of the child left behind. Favored by neither father, Ignacio led a lonely life-- until Willy Wonka stole him away to train him up as the heir to the Chocolate Factory. As a result, under Willy's careful (or not so careful) eye, Ignacio has become a master of candy-- with no regretful thoughts of the life he left behind. In fact, he seldom thinks of his family-- which is probably a good thing...
