Easy fight. Gaara would win. Toph has to be able to move her limbs to bend earth. Gaara can stand prefectly still. His sand shield would block any rocks shot at him. Simply get his super-fast sand around her, and she's down. He can move the sand a lot faster than she moves rocks.

ok, here is what would go down...Gaara would win, Toph is my Avatar chick, but Gaara would just surround her with sand so she couldn't see..then can you say "Sand Coffin, Sand Funeral"? If that doesn't work then he could just use force sleep, and let the crazy Raccoon out. What would happen to Toph....  BESIDES GAARA IS A NINJA!

Toph wins heart Why? Because she can't see in sand, but she can control it. Then again... does Garra throw those ninja blade thinges? Toph can't see those sweatdrop

i say toph, beause after the timeskip gaara no longer has his demon and if he can still use sand coffin or move sand at all ( im not sure if he still can) then toph could just bend metal around her as a sheild and gaaras sand cant break metal
also he hardly moves so it would be easly for toph to get him, also its not like they would have to fight on sand so she wouldnt be feet blinded -_- and just because he is a ninja that doesnt mean anything, i mean what makes a ninja so much better than a bender? nothing does. besides most of the poeple saying that gaara would win are the people who hardly know anything of the time skip.... and yea toph has girl power, and im sure toph can still bend a littlebit of sand, its just small earth,its just harder for her to "see".

BESIDES GAARA IS A NINJA!yes but his sand coffin is weak against metal,kimimaro's bones are the same strenght of metal and broke gaaras strongest sheild, an toph bends metal too so she would win =] and in naruto his demon goes bye bye so he couldnt use shikaku =] and benders can be a hell of a lot better than ninjas -_-

LORD_BIG_DOGGIE Snowlight Silent Night i can't rember who Gaara is then why did you post..? sweatdrop heart i posted when i only watch 3 ep of naruto but know that i've watched them all and read all the menga. garra will win. tohp has now chance the sand moves on it's own and gaara can just stand there.

I hate cross overs of "Who is better?"
Its pointless.
I dont like compairing two different characters from different series. Sure compairing Gaara and Rock Lee would be something apropriate, and compairing Katara to Azula. But I dont like Gaara more than Toph and I dont like Toph more than Gaara.

I think Toph would win because
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm I dont know why do.
I guess cause shes an earth bender and she predict a persons movement before they do it.
but garra is kinda good at his sand.
so it all comes down to who can use earth/sand better.
which would be Yoph in my opinion
