((O_o" that was sudden... and Jade said her book store is in the next town))
Nikolai didn't scream, cringing as Kemuri held him and was trembling with fear when the bus crashed. Utterly terrified at what had happened, he had no idea what caused the sudden lurch. Perhaps the metal monster was going to eat them after all!

Kemuri saw asthe engine ignighted and burst into flames. A young lady ran and kicked the door down. She guided the old man as she addressed him as 'grandpa'. Everyone escaped as Kemuri left the bus also. the Bus driver didn't leave since he was out cold. no one seemed to remember the bus driver. Everyone went onto the side of the road near some stores. Kemuri saw the store again. he had overlooked the sign. it actually wrote BrookStore, not BookStore.
He held onto Nikolai, not letting him get into any danger. Nikolai wasn't his and Jade would be heartbroken if Nikolai was hurt...

"Uunnnn!" Nikolai whined, trying to reach out towards the bus when Kemuri stepped out. He didn't speak; perhaps the child was mute? No matter what happened, the Herald did not use his words. This time, however, he did use noise to get attention. "Unnn!" The bus driver was still in danger, and the child tried to alert Kemuri to this.

"What's that Nikolai?" Kemuri said to the young one. "What's wrong?" Kemuri hadn't realized the Driver was still inside. He stopped halfway up becauswe of Nikolai's sounds. "Is there still someone in the bus?" He asked as the boy seemed to only start making noise when he had stepped out...

Nodding his head, the little boy pouted at him and mimed holding a stearing wheel in front of Kemuri. Worried for what would happen to the driver, he started looking around in confusion when he heard ambulence and fire truck sirens.

Kemuri ran up to the ambulance people and explained that there was the unconcious bus driver inside while still holding Nikki in his arms. Kemuri placed his hand on Nikolai's head and put it up to his chest.
They looked like father/son or brother/brother sorta because probably of the way Nikoali was being held or their deep blue coloured wings.

Nikolai clung to Kemuri as he was held close, trembling slightly from the shock earlier. He hoped he would be able to return to Jade soon after such an exciting afternoon! Whining softly, the boy's grip on Kemuri's shirt was tight in hopes they would be able to leave.

Kemuri headed up to the sidewalk. "i guess we'll have to find the book store then." He said softly to Nikolai. Kemuri only had enough money to catch the bus back to Lily's place. Kemuri bounced Nikolai up a little to get a better grip and not accidentily drop him. It was slightly cold so he zipped up his jacket that was found in Lily's closet. He had wondered who it belonged to. It was a perfec fit and the colours weren't 'out' yet. He didn't mind.
"Are you cold Nikolai? you can always speak up if you're cold and we can take a rest someplace or ask people where the book store is in a warmer area." He said to the little boy with a calming tone.

Nikolai clung tight to Kemuri, looking up at the adult Herald with a pout and a quivering lower lip. He was cold, but he really just wanted to get back to Jade. The woman was taking care of some paper work she needed at the college, though she had told Kemuri to return the boy at the bookstore in the next town over. The only bookstore in the surrounding towns was a small shop in a very rural area of Gaia. Kemuri would have a hard time getting there without a vehicle of some sort.

Kemuri took his scarf and wraped it around Nikolai's neck and chin. He kissed the little boy on the face giving him reassurance. Kemuri realized that Jade had meant a book store in the next town, he wondered how far the next town is. He tapped the shoulder of a lady. "Excuse me, do you know how far is the bookstore in the next town?" He asked politely holding Nikolai.
The woman nodded. "It's about 7 stops from here on bus 34A" the lady said to him. Kemuri bowed and said a small thank you as he headed off. The lady continued on her way. '7 whole stops?!' he thought. 'i guess i could try walking, but Nikolai is cold. I'll take the bus.' he thought. He looked around to try find a 34A stop. What he didn't know was he was right in the center of two 34A stops...

Stiffled by the scarf, Nikolai pulled it away from his mouth with a quiet whine and rested his head on the man's shoulder. His little wings in their mittens flapped slightly, wondering what was to come. There was one thing that day had taught him, if nothing else: Buses were big, scary monsters that were not to be trusted. He was bound to give Kemuri a hard time if the man planned on setting him on a bus again.

Kemuri began to walk down the street slowly, looking for the 34A bus stop. He walked with the sky above his head. The light of day shone through the clouds as the day started to clear up. Kemuri looked up. the sun was still high in the sky so it seemed pretty safe not to run. Kemuri walked along to see a 34A stop sign. But it was across the street. he knew it was 34A because on his side of the road, he saw a 34A sign but it was going the opposite way, so the one which went to where he was going was aross the road. and he saw huge 34A sign.
He waited for the light to turn green as he walked across the road holding Nikolai in his arms.

The boy's wings flapped some more, it seemed perhaps he wanted down. All this time he hadn't been able to walk at all since Jade insisted on holding him, and Kemuri seemed to be the same. He was old enough to walk, and old enough to speak, he just chose not to do the later of the two.

Kemuri arrived at the sidewalk as he put the little boy on the ground as it seemed that he wanted it. Kemuri held onto Nikolai's hand in case he were to go off or get lost. or Kemuri were to get lost. Kemuri lead the boy to the 34A bus stop.

The boy waited quietly, playing with a rock on the ground with the toe of a shoe before the bus came into sight. Rather quickly the child shouted and tugged in hope of getting away from it. He didn't want to get back on a bus that was bound to crash again! His little wings flapped uselessly, yet furiously despite their ineffectiveness in helping him.
