RockyRoadSmith rachaella22 So, the third episode of the third season is coming up. Do you guys think maybe we'll get some Zutaraness in it? Maybe some symbolism or a flashback?
I hope so. It'll help me recover from the first two episodes. O.o I don't think we'll get any actual Zutara, but we may get some symbolism if we're lucky. It all depends who's sick. Maybe we'll be lucky and it'll be Katara and she'll have some dreams about her mother or something. =3 The last two epsidoes were good, but I could do without the Maikoness. *Gags* They're laying it on a little thick. Ooh, I'd love to see Katara have feverish dreams about her mom! It'd be like what happened to Zuko in 'The Earth King'.
Yeah, it was a little too much for my tastes, as well. But, as I said in another thread, I think they'll end up cooling off towards the middle of the season. I mean, Mai seems to get bored of things pretty easily, and I doubt she'd find Zuko's need for therapy all that interesting. xP
We'll just have to be patient and wait things out.

We'll just have to be patient and wait things out.Yeah. She's never had a flashback, yet she seems most hurt by her mother's death. No offense to Sokka, I just think he had bonded more with his father. Agreed. I guess the moment is done. XP I think their personalities clash too much.

I vote this theory is still in effect, because in 'The Painted Lady', we got some more Zuko/Katara parallels. And a new sub-ship! =D
Plus, the lack of other shipping was nice.

SPOILERS
Guys, I don't think that 9 is that lucky for us Zutarians. Look!
http://firedragon-de.deviantart.com/art/Kataang-Kiss-SWF-video-Sound-68597605
I just hope that it's a dream...
EDIT: I checked Wikipedia and it said something like this:
The nightmares culminate with a jumbled montage consisting of snap images expressing Aang's fear and stress over the upcoming battle. Because of this, he is not getting enough sleep or any at all. Soon he starts having hallucinations (such as hearing Appa and Momo talking and battling each other in samurai armour, and a passionate kiss with Katara), and he tries constantly to 'train'.
It was a hallucination!!!1

Spoilers for episode 309! Highlight to read:
Because I'm obsessed and slightly insane, I noticed a bunch of symbolism in this episode.
First, when Katara was doing the yoga stretches, she said, "Reach for the sun." Zuko is often represented by the sun.
Second, in one of Aang's nightmares, Katara was ingulfed in flames. If they got together, Zuko would be taking Katara away, similar to how fire would.
And lastly, when Aang was underwater in his nightmare, he saw Zuko. Water is Katara's element.
But, you know, I'm just crazy. And deprived of Zutara moments. Dx

OMG, I can't believe I haven't commented on 312 yet! Dx
Personally, I think this episode was very positive for Zutara. It proves that Katara was deeply hurt by Zuko's actions, which proves that she had begun trusting him after the small amount of time they spent together. Also, Zuko's nervousness when she was debating on whether or not she would acceot him shows that he cares about what she thinks to a certain degree.
Plus, now they'll be spending tons of time together, which will only improve their relationship. 3nodding
