(I was referring to me, not you.)
Here's a good example. It's even in semi-prose format for your enjoyment.
Today was the day everyone started taking the CAHSEE, so my 6th period APCP class was basically a study-hall to do homework, because Mr.Orlando (my teacher) didn't want periods 1, 3, or 4 to fall behind.
So, with nothing else to do, I decided to finish up my focus points during class.
After class, he said, "Sara, would you mind if I took a picture of that if I had a camera?"
Confused, I looked up and replied,"Huh?"
He said, "You actually doing your homework."
I felt like I had accomplished something, but I wasn't sure why.

Thanks, though it's a bit late for that.
I didn't do the rest of my Iran FP's.
Maybe China will be different. I should do my work to get my Chinese knowledge on about the same level as you as other Chinese memebers in this guild.

Oh, I know nothing about China. Not much, anyway.
But one friend of mine has been studying China for quite some time now. She's on the Academic Decathlon team, and the ten topics they have to study all center around China and its development, economy, and whatnot.

Academic Decathalon= Academic League ?
Hmm...I didn't have to study about China for AL.
((I'm one of the worst players on the JV team emo .))

You're right.
It sounds much more complex than AL, which is just a quiz-bowl type competition.

It is. Ten subjects, with scrimmages, state competitions, and nationals.
Super Quiz is one of the subjects.

Sounds like more fun. I'd be in no shape to do it. I'm not as smart as I thought I was.

Really?
Hmm...I guess I shouldn't feel bad about myself. There are you guys, who are smart, yet not perfect-smart. That makes me relieved. smile

I would too.
By the way, how did you get into all IB classes? (And what is it? I've never heard of it before.)
