You should deffinatley enter, then. <33
UPDATE My friend, MoonRazor, has offered to help with the judging, as it could get a bit hard... So, I hope no one minds much. She doesn't have an Ulaya, and so I think she'd be a more unbiased judge than myself or another Jokoa` thread frequent. <33

The entries thus far are all so good, I don't think I would want to have to pick the winner. xp

I wish I could help you Kajuchu. I think it is great that you want to use one of your sisters characters. I am sure you will do it justice.
BTW I love your new avatar look. It is a very King and I look.

Name: Akumu Meaning: Translates to Nightmare in Japanese Prompt: I'm going to attempt to connect all of the prompts together somehow ... *crosses fingers* Side Note: I'm going to use another Ulaya that I just acquired in this. It's the Lugia Ulaya if you wanna have more of an image then I described lol
Entry:
Akumu ran as fast as her legs could take her. She didn't know what was giving her chase, all she wanted was to get free from it. The sound of heavy panting and a high pitched screech echoed through the midnight sky made the hair on her back raise on end. Tucking her wings close to her body she began to hope that it would make her faster and somehow help her get away from the creature.
After what seemed like hours of running the sight of the forest became clear and she jolted forward with the last of her energy to reach the sheltered area. Her last hope was to somehow duck and hide from the beast and pray that it doesn't sniff her out. Taking one last leap, Akumu spread out her wings and glided the fastest her wings could carry her, straight into the gaping trees.
Looking from side to side, searching for somewhere she can tuck herself into she noticed a fallen tree on a mound of rocks. Seeing a black hole, the emerald Undulcan leaped into it and curled up into a ball of fur. She pressed her body as tight as she could and tried to calm herself to almost no breath. Pressing her head as deep into her arms as possible, she didn't want to even hear the creature let alone see it passing by.
Moments later the pounding feet of the enormous beast trotted past the shelter the forest had provided Akumu. Her eyes still wide with fear she didn't dare move or the monster may hear her. When she felt that it was safe, she shifted her foot slightly and lifted her head when her body froze. The beast's face was right at the opening, glaring in at her with an evil toothy grin on his face. Fear shot through Akumu's body as the monster reared up and threw the large tree aside like a twig.
"Gyaa!" Akumu sat straight up and looked around her. Breathing as deeply and fast as she had ever and noticed that she was still in her cave, nestled in the spot she always laid in. Blinking a few times she looked down at her shaking paws and saw the leaves and pebbles scattered about. "A dream ..." She said to herself. "It was just a dream ..." She said this a couple of times as if to talk herself out of the thought that the monster may still be after her.
Akumu rested in that spot for a little while, trying to clear her mind and body of any fear that still lingered. The usual sounds of the Ulaya playing about outside of the cave rested her mind the last bit. If anything so frightening that she was scared of was out there it was definite that they wouldn't be. Raising up off the ground, Akumu paced herself as she walked out the cave entrance. She scanned the forest area and found a nice shady spot across the clearing from the bustling.
"Come on! Lets play!" Yelled one of the little Ulaya with a cheerful smile, he bounded over to another one and began tugging on her ear. "Come now, I need to neaten up a little bit." The older one had a relaxed look on her face as she smiled to the younger one. "Aww ... After?" His eyes got wide with the question and then closed with cheer when a nod was replied. Going back to the cleaning the elder Ulaya swifted her tail side to side. She was a bright white Ulaya but she looked different from the other ones which intrigued Akumu some for she was different then the others herself.
"I'll get it!" Said the young Ulaya as he leaped over towards Akumu, chasing a chestnut that another had tossed in a game of catch. "Aya! Aya get back here!" Yelled an Ulaya, stopping the little one before he reached the nut. "But mama ..." He began to protest to her. "No, that Undulcan is dangerous. Who knows what it may do to you when we're not looking." The mother glared towards Akumu and then swung around to lead her kid away from the trees. "Yeah! Wouldn't want me to drink his blood!" Akumu shouted the sneer remark with a grin and a chuckle.
"You wouldn't really would you?" A voice came from behind Akumu, causing her to leap to her feet. The white Ulaya stood before her with a curious and concerned look on her face. "Why not? That's what Undulcans do isn't it? Shed fear into the hearts of the little ones, eating their bodies while they sleep. It's common knowledge." Akumu actually sounded kind of convincing. "No." The Ulaya had a confused look on her face but wasn't believing anything Akumu was saying, or at least she didn't want to. "I don't think that's true. I think you're just as normal as the rest of us." Sitting on the ground she tilted her head in thought. "So what do you know? I didn't ask you did I? Tsk, you're just as different as I am and you know it. You're nothing like them and never will be, get over it and stop pretending to be what you're not." Akumu turned around and paced back to the cave.
Chuckling to herself she stepped into the cave and sat in the coldest, wettest spot and rested her chin on her arm. Akumu began to fall asleep again when she felt something on her hind. Lifting her head to see what it was the little Ulaya sat beside her, just staring into her eyes. "Can I help you?" Akumu said, a little annoyed. "Would you really drink my blood." He couldn't help but ask her, just to fancy his curiosity. Rolling her eyes, Akumu stood up and walked out the cave entrance when something smashed into her side, knocking her balance off. Catching herself she whipped around and snarled at the Ulaya that had pushed her over. Ears pressed down and teeth barred Akumu growled and sneered at the young one.
"Stop it!" A white figure parted Akumu from the little Ulaya and stared into her eyes forcingly. "Mommy!" The small Ulaya ran in the other direction in fear as she pressed herself against her mother's leg for comfort. "You're never going to make friends if you keep this up!" The Ulaya changed her position to a more friendly but still defensive one and lowered her voice. "I never said I wanted friends ... they're the ones that outcasted me!!" Akumu couldn't believe her for getting in her way. Frustrated she turned around and jolted for the forest, dissapearing into the dark entranceway.
"I don't need anyone and they don't need me. That's all there is to it." Akumu came to a small pond and sat down at the water's edge. Watching her reflection in the ripples the voice of the other Ulaya echoed in her mind. "You're never going to make friends if you keep this up!" Puffing a breath of frustration Akumu mumbled to herself. "Never make friends ... " A solom tear ran down her cheek.
