I was raised an Armenian Orthodox Christian with my family. However, I broke off of that around a year ago and am now a Pagan looking for a path that fits my present beliefs. (Hoo boy, you should have seen the look on my mother's face...she still hasn't forgiven me.)

I was raised Roman Catholic. Now I'm a wandering theist, drawn to Christianity but not quite sure yet.

He probably said it because there are many of us here who used to be catholic or christian and we no longer follow that religion anymore (I for one started out catholic, then moved to my current state: Deistic theist/ecclectic pagan)

i am mennonite. we believe in nonviolence (not carrying lethal weapons), freedom of conscience, humility, simplicity, consensus, hard work, helpfulness (good works), and the new testament, especially the gospels.
we are like catholics in being more interested in good works and less in pure grace than the protestants, and like the protestants in being less hierarchical and institutional than the catholics, and less sacramental. so we do not fit with either one.
