Pink Floyd is the best band in the world, it seems like everyone has only heard the mainstream songs by them evil . I cant even name my favorite song, but i would have to say Shine on you Crazy Diamond, because of it's meaning of Syd Barret crying . I know everything about Pink floyd...i grew up on them....i worship heart them. lol

Don't get me wrong, it is great, but half of the time its the only song people know. You have to watch the wall to actually understand the CD

From Piper: Astronmy Divine, Bike From Saucerful: Remember A Day, Set The Controls From More: Cirrus Minor, Cymbaline From Ummagumma: Sysyphus From Atom Heart: Fat Old Sun From Meddle: Everything but Seamus From Obscured: Hard to say. From Dark Side: Oh ********. Um. It all runs together, although Any Colour has that wonderful guitar part, and Money is Money, Great Gig has the interviews giving way to the orgasm singing, Time rips your ears off...I do so love Eclipse. From Wish You Were Here: Shine On You Crazy Diamond (all parts) is pretty, very pretty. Welcome To The Machine is austere, stark, and breathtaking. Have A Cigar always amazes me because it just sounds like a smoky room, being talked down to and buddied up to by a cigar-smoking fat pig of an executive in a navy blue suit with a combover who grins far too much. When I listen to this I can smell that smoke...and the title song is prettiful. From Animals: Dogs is wonderful. It's stark, scary, moody, bitter, smoggy. If I had to pick a song on here that matched the album cover, this would be it. Pigs is kind of like a longer Have A Cigar in feel, very swanky and smoky, very fake, very nasty. I love it, but it can give me a headache. Sheep opens with that jazzy little electronic 'blee blee blee blah bloo', then suddenly it's a kind of One Of These Days-esque jam. From The Wall: Besides the fact that this is one big Roger Waters ego trip, this is an amazing album. In The Flesh? jumps out like Time did so many years before, seguaying into a baby crying which leads into etc so forth. This is, like Dark Side, a 'whole album', with songs that are part of a whole, all linked together, which made it difficult to pick out seperate songs on the LP because there was always noise, and therefore no blank rings to set the needle on. This is just one album, a wall of sound (ha)...I love it all. From The Final Cut: Sad sad sad. I love this album. The short film that accompanied it was surreal and even sadder (a man looks back on his life, how it was stolen from him by politicians who started wars). When I first heard the shout, scream, voom-boom-crash of 'Get Your Filthy Hands Off My Dessert', I fell in love with this album. I still cry at the end, every time. From A Momentary Lapse: A momentary lapse of talent, but still good. Dogs of War is eerie, although the saxophone took some time to love. Kind of an interesting album, but you could feel the absence of Roger Waters. From Division Bell:
That about sums it up.

Comfortably Numb, I've yet to hear a song that's better from that by any band, let alone Floyd and well, there is no band better than Floyd, so I doubt I will hear anything better.
