Jill2282 Honaka Wikapedia isn't even a credible sight. Anyone can change anything they want if they want too. That's why you see stuff about Sasuke on a encyclapedia in the first place. Sasuke is not gay. Saying that means you're gay(and a sasuxnaru fan). But Sasuke is a bit of a _______. (Any insult that starts with a b can be put in the blank.) Hey, if you think that Sasuke's gay, it doesn't mean you are. Besides, I have a lot of gay friends, and to use the term like that is kind of... mean. Anyways, back on topic, I do doubt that Naru/Sasu would happen. Sure, it might make some fans happy, but the majority of guys that read Naruto don't like yaoi (even if Kishimoto-san does) and Naruto and Sasuke sort of met on bad terms. Sometimes I even get confused between fanart and the actual manga. I agree, they draw it so well that people sometimes mistake fanart for the manga itself O.O I saw this fanart where Naruto and Sasuke kiss! And it was NO accident crying Good thing I saw that it was actually fanart sweatdrop

Honestly, I doubt it. It's probably fanart. The manga was originally intended for boys, and if he added yaoi, it would surely throw off readers.

why would kishimoto do a yaoi manga if he is a GUY. cuz girls like yaoi "yaoi is made by girls, for girls"(wikipedia) . i mean he isn't gay...is he?? o_O eek

Did your friend also fail to notice that in the panels after that, Naruto is choking himself, and Sasuke is throwing up blood? (:
Unless, maybe he was talking about something other than that moment in the manga. If he was, it was fanart, and it's totally not going to happen. 3nodding

I've heard that Kishimoto dislikes yaoi, but I've never asked people to cite their sources. Do you have a link to an interview or something? I'd appreciate it if you gave it to me, I want to know for sure. XD

@Kuro: I've actually heard that he wanted to put some shounen-ai into the story, but didn't want to get readers upset (which confuses me, because the most popular pairings are SasuNaru and KakaIru). Of course, this is just something I heard, and haven't seen for myself in an actual interview. You can't really fully trust something not cited these days. >>

Anyway, I cannot remember if I commented on this thead or not. I probably did.
But there is a lot of doujins out there that look uncannily like the original art style. I remember there was a page of a doujin when Yondaime-sama came out and turned out that he was the leader of the akatsuki. Kakashi was all "SENSEI???" This was before I'd read the timeskip manga. I was all, "Is that... *cant tell*" for a while.
It was a page of a doujin or a fanart, no doubt. There are lots of NaruSasu doujins out there.
