Sapphire laughed a little. "But I want you to walk beside me!" She smiled before padding off, picking a random direction.

Kai was a little taken aback by that. 'Walk with me?' he thought as a blush spread across his face. He didn't think more on it as he ran to catch up with Sapphire.

Sapphire padded alongside Kai, admiring the forest around her. It really was beautiful here. She looked up and noticed the trees thinning. "Looks like we're nearly out... oh my!" She gasped as she looked forward again. They were at the edge of a huge, gorgeous meadow.

Kai's eye widened as he gazed at the meadow before them. He had never been to such a pretty place before. "Wow!" he breathed out as they got closer to reaching it.

Sapphire's mouth hung open in astonishment. The meadow was beautiful, full of lush grass and trees... She took a couple of steps forward. "This place is... incredible!"

"It is....." Kai replied as he stood and took in the beauty of the place. "I'm surprised that I didn't come across this place....." he mumbled.

Sapphire looked at Kai and smiled. "Do you think we're the first people to accidentally stumble into this clearing? I mean, we found it by mistake... It could be our meadow!"

Kai blushes at hearing "our meadow". "I bet we are....." he mumbled as he made a point to not at her. He hoped he hadn't offened her, but he didn't want her to see him blush. 'Too....embrassing...' he thought.

Sapphire bounded into the long grass and flopped onto her back, looking up at the clear sky above her. The gentle streams bubbled away at either side of the meadow. She smiled wide and took a deep breath. "This place is wonderful... And all ours... it's almost a shame that no-one else knows it is here... "Sapphire looked over at Kai and smiled again.

"It is...." Kai replied at went to sit down next to her. He looked up at the sky and took in a deep breath. "This place makes you not want to leave." he mumbled.

Sapphire nodded in agreement. "It's so peaceful... and this perfect day makes it even more wonderful.... and the great company helps too..." She smiled.

Sapphire looked up at Kai, her eyes sparkling in the sunshine. "Kai... why did you decide to take this walk with me...?"

The question surprised him a little bit. "Um, well.......You see......I......" he mumbled as he tired to think. 'Why did I?' he thought. He didn't want to say because I like you. There was more to it than that. Besides, that isn't exactly what you would say to someone that you just met.
