Well, I got me a satillite radio yesterday.
heart It's awsome!
Explain what this is, and what it does.
I am interested!
It's a radio that picks up transmissions from an orbiting satellite. By doing that, you can listen to the same station from coast to coast. The major thing is that it is a pay service, which is good and bad. The bad thing is, well, the whole 'pay money' thing, but it is offset by the fact you get like 130 channels. 60 of them are COMMERCIAL FREE music channels.
heart The rest are a mix of sports, talk, news, traffic, weather, and special live event channels. They broke the music channels down by genre, so theres a few classic rock channels, a few rap/hip-hop channels, a few jazz channels, a few country channels, etc. and they further break those down to sub-genres, like in the rock group there is a, classic rock, early alternative, current, death metal, yadda yadda yadda.
To some it all up, It's the radio equivalent of cable TV.
3nodding Here's some links, I went with XM.
