Ice would be bad next to water, methinks. Ice freezing water to more ice while water tries to wash ice to water. And with fire, because, melty melty. Wood would be bad I suppose, since frosts kill plants.
Maybe next to something that doesn't have such physical properties, such as sound, illusion, etc.

I don't think Ice and Earth would bode too well, either, since ice = glaciers, and glaciers are giant moving sheets of eroding goodness. So, I agree with putting them near things lacking good physical properties.
In fact, those more intangible elements are probably going to be the glue that'll help to keep the physical elements from tearing each other apart in most of the caravan, I bet.

Would love to know more about teh Saviour magic. It seemed a nice sorta thing when it was floating about stroking people and making them magically preggers. So may it'll be much of a harm anywhere neutral Nullifying was only a ceremony thing?

Hm. I remember from older things that having an earth element at the end of the caravan was bad stoof, got us bogged down and stuff. XP Maybe having WhistleStick, a rash, passionate fire element is what keeps getting us into all of this random crap. xDD <33
Baptiste is...I think an earth element. His wagon name is Mossy Charm. I'll ask Icarri what she thinks Tamlin's element is, although if I had to hazard a guess I'd say fiyah. <3
A thought on fire/air: The right combination of fire and air goes FOOM. burning_eyes But more air than fire will snuff it. xD Like blowing a candle out. A thought on ice/water: Ice floats in water, so perhaps having an ice-water combination will buoy the ice element. A thought on Ravenwood: Good Lord, that's going to be an interesting wagon.
Thoughts on placement for Mountain Air. I know Qs isn't here much, but some reading somewhere for Mitexi said that he/she/it (I forget) was lonely in their element. Well, now we have another water element, Solas. Could stick Rhythmique and Mountain Air next to each other. Can't be next to: Whistlestick (because of the water influence) PhoenixSong (because of the water/fire and because earth/air don't like each other) Wind Wheels (water/fire)
I also distrust the White Sect magic. I think we should refrain from putting Ravenwood next to WhistleStick or Blessed Change for that reason, since that's where the highest concentration of our gypsy magic is. Although, if Ravenwood was flanked by WhistleStick and Blessed Change the Meij might overcome the White Sect stuff. Although that might be bad for baby. O_o
As far as Mossy Charm goes, if it's earth/fire then that makes it difficult to place. Tamlin may yet choose to be sound, though, since she's a musician.

Ok...can someone give me a crash course in elements?
Because I think i'm probably the only one here that has no idea what they mean, which ones can't go together, which work best together, etc,.
sweatdrop
And I don't think Veshengo has an element, I never figured out one for him [can you believe that, in all of his story and everything, no element >.<]...It never mattered before anyways, he always stayed at the back of the caravan. confused

xD Maeko. Just think of what they do in real life. Fire + wood = burning. <3 Water + fire = doused.

I am also distrustful of the White Sect magic. I think it may cause a bit of trouble in Ravenwood--hopefully it doesn't nullify all gypsy magic. I'd hate to stunt the growth of the rest of the children. But then again, I think it might also be beneficial for the entire caravan. I guess we'll just have to learn more about it.
But yeah, I really have no idea what the best place for Ravenwood is...*clueless*

Valelldia I will answer.. 3 questions. mrgreen One per person, three people. Choose wiiiisely. heart @Maeko: o.O does Veshengo not have a wagon? Or, rather, is he not in the order a'tall? That should be fixed. For OOC space purposes I listed him in Varekai, and he does have a horse...and he eventually gained a small wagon [it was mentioned briefly during a large group RP, and I've lost where]...He has never been part of any of the WOC's. I'm also leaning towards Fire as his element...but I would love some opinions on that from other people.

@Maeko: I'd agree that wee Veshie is fiyah. @Icarri/Oq: Okay, that makes Mossy charm earth/fire. Interesting on its own. ^^ @Everyone: Hokei, means we need to decide things we need to know. My votes are a. How will the White Sect magic affect the gypsy magic/Meij? b. What else does an Earth element do besides ground things? c. What should we do with A Light in the Dark?

My votes are a. How will the White Sect magic affect the gypsy magic/Meij?b. What else does an Earth element do besides ground things? c. What should we do with A Light in the Dark? The White Sect Magic will work as a nullifier until it is born, in that, to protect the unborn baby, it will make the rest of its wagon essentially not have a single element. So, for example, if you're using Ravenwood as a buffer between two others, then, for as long as Irina is pregnant, it will be as if the wagon before and behind her are right next to each other. After the baby is born, the elements will return, and the White Sect Magic will work as a Spirit Element. (Which, by the way... works well next to fires and light, but keep it away from darkness and delusion.)

Oh wow. Okay. I'm glad it doesn't nullify all elements forever. Because that would be bad news...
Now I wonder how long Irina will be pregnant...I suppose we could reorder once she has the baby, just in case the wagon no longer fits where it's placed. But Spirit and Delusion will probably have to fight it out once the Savior is born. It's going to be similar to a Light in the Dark element-wise, which scares me a bit.

Well Sizzla can't go near me then I got light and dark unless we wanted to cause her some problems.. but yeah
Its possible we could do something like spirt spirt/dellusion fire earth illusion earth fire... something like that? Im sure two spirit elements won't do much to each other... well it might but yeah.
