The hand on her back caused her to jump and cringe to one side for a moment. Automatically fearing the strike that was coming, the strike that always came. Miho blinked, the head wasn't striking though. It was just laying there. The warmth was oddly centering and she blinked up in search of the owner of the hand, panic racing around in her eyes.

It was the boy who had come in earlier. He'd just said something. "W-what?" The hand on her back reminded her of the one time her father had returned home in the middle of one of her panic attacks. She had been huddled in a corner, when her father had come in. Instead of calling for the servants he had just come over, laying a hand on her back and rubbing gently.

Satu breathed deeply. To be honest the girl was freaking him out slightly. He really just wanted to withdraw his hand and go back to doodling on his copy, or even staring at the wall. But he wasn't going to because no one was really that cruel that they wouldn't help someone who was in need. Satu did have a way with words though, especially with women. He had so many older sisters that he had mastered what to say and what to keep in your own head. And with so many break-up he was an expert at comforting distressed women.

He still wasn't sure what to do though. If he put his hand up and called the teacher it would draw attention to her, which had seemed to cause the problem in the first place. He descided to ask her himself. She could chose what to do. Satu was not a leader and the last thing he wanted to do was for the girl to faint or something because he did something stupid.

"Are you alright miss?" he repeated, his voice softer and kinder then before. If she wanted to leave her would be happy to lead her out, but it was her choice.

The last thing Miho wanted to do at the moment was move. She knew that with her panic attacks came sudden onsets of dizziness and with her luck the minute she stood up she would get dizzy, or even worse faint. No, it was much better to just stay in her chair, where almost no one could see her faint trembling.

Her eye drifted closed for a moment as she concentrated on simply breathing. The boy next to her had touched her just in time to keep her from going into a complete panic attack. Rather absentmindedly she noted that she hadn't actually caught his name when he had introduced himself.

He was talking again, she forced herself to focus on the voice this time. Oh. He was asking if she was alright. Her mental state was too weak at the moment for her to bother with her usual snapish retort so she just nodded slightly. "I'm fine. Sorry, for troubling you."

She was mostly back under control she noted with relief. Now all she could do was hope that class ended soon. Sitting up again she forced her mask to fall back into place. She would get through this without embarassing herself or her father, she had promised herself that before school started and she wasn't going to break that promise now.

Seraph heard somewhat of a commotion in the classroom, and looked around to see what was going on. She saw two students talking to each other, but the girl didn't look to great. She eyed the boy, wondering if he was giving her a hard time. If he was, she would have to do something about it. But that wouldn't be until class was over.

She turned back to the teacher so she wouldn't get in trouble for not paying attention. She wasn't really listening to the lesson. She had woken up late that morning, and had skipped breakfast to make up time. She was starving! She knew lunch was right around the corner, but it was so hard to concentrate on an empty stomach.

Satu relaxed a little, removing his hand from the girls shoulder. He was happy that this little conversation ended without insident. After all if she fainted he would probably have to carry her out, as he was the nearest boy to her. And Satu was neither strong nor fit. He sighed slightly as he slumped, catlike into his chair, his look of detachment returning.

"I'm glad you're alright miss." he said looking over at her, small grin forming. "Don't apologise for anything. I did not do anything nor did you put out anyone. There is no need to." he said.

He watched the girl carefully but not noticibly. He didn't want to seem like some sort of stalker but he wanted to make sure that she didn't collapse. Her colour returned and she seemed to be back to normal. 'Good' Satu though, taping his pen slightly 'no first day insident'

Tarii chuckled lightly. Not at Miho and Satu, though. More at her current book. Poor Gatsby, getting into so much trouble that isn't even worth the worry. Fitzgerald was truly a magnificent writer. It was a pity that he was put through so much hardships that were his own doing, Tarii thought, bookmarking her page again.

That's when she noticed another girl, one that didn't even introduce herself. Long brimming pink hair, that reminded her of salt water taffy, she was easily noticeable. She seemed to be faking concentration though. Tarii just made a solemn sigh, twirling her writing pen delicately. Man was she ever more bored?

Hearing a sigh next to her, Seraph couldn't help but look over at the girl sitting next to her. She didn't look very happy or interested to be here, twirling her pen like a miniature baton. Well I can hardly blame her, she thought, resting her elbow on the desk chin in hand; Today's lesson is simply awful. She coughed quietly to try and get the other girl's attention.

Audric edged gingerly into the classroom. The door was slightly ajar, so sliding it silently open the rest of the way was easy. Somehow, he'd gotten so turned around while on his way to class, the only option was for him to simply stop and head back to his room to start over. Had he seen someone on the way who wasn't powerwalking so fast he couldn't get their attention, Audric would have asked for some help. At least it was a comfort to know he wasn't the only one who was late or possibly lost.

Audric was thankful the other students were caught up in their own happenings to notice him sneak into the class and occupy a seat in the back. It also wasn't too bad that the teacher hadn't noticed either! However, his current location was far too empty! Surviving his first year out of home schooling was going to be difficult if he didn't make friends! He'd had more friends being home schooled by himself than he had at a school with other students.

Testing his ninja skills once again, Audric sneaked a desk closer to several other students.

Satu tapped out a muscial beat on his note book one elongated hand holding his chin up. He was bored alreay and really had about a hundred better things to do then be here right now. He stared up at the bored, a nonchalant bored expression fixed on his pale face. The class had finally settled down and people were no longer staring at him. Now all he had to do was try and make a good impression on everyone he met to show that he wasn't a complete clutz.

His eyes wandered from the board to the seat beside him. The once vacant seat now had an occupant. Satu turned around to look at him. When had he gotten there. He was sure the last time he looked at that seat it was most definatly empty. He sighed and smiled his normally charming fake smile.

"When did you get here?" he asked pleasently. He most certainly didn't want to seem like he was being rude but for once he was actually curious about when and how the boy had gotten there. "Oh my name is Satu. Satu Kimura by the way. How rude of me not to introduce myself first." he said, as pleasently as he could. Atleast this guy hasn't seen his spectaculaly embaressing entrance.

Tarii's eyes wandered to the pink haired girl sitting next to her. She didn't seemed quite as bored as she was though. Then again in a school like this looks were highly deceiving. Her peripheral vision wandered to the teacher, who was writing on the black board and then her head turned back to the long pink haired girl.

"Yes?" She whispered, an eyebrow perking. The only thing Tarii was worried about now was if she would be caught by the teacher.

"Hi, I'm Seraph." She said, her voice almost inaudible from how low she was whispering. She didn't want to get caught talking, but the class was so dull that she couldn't help herself. She smiled at the other girl, and hoped she would be friendly.
