"Oop! Totally!" she said as a sudden spark seemed to lighten up in her eyes. Faith licked her lips at the pot and her little stub of a tail couldn't help but wag. She didn't know too much about cooking, but steamed veggies were always better than eaten raw in cold weather. "Sounds so yummy!" she said with a very unlady-like chunk of fish in her mouth. Faith laughed at her own sloppiness and proceeded with chewing the fish.

Akio strew the steamed veggies a little more and put a fish on a papaer plate and the steamed veggies around it. He did the same with his plate. "There. That should last us for awhile." He said with fish in his mouth. Akio glomped the fish down and put some more wood in the fire.

Faith squealed at the veggies rather girlishly and snarfed them down rapidly. The fish was eaten second, because she hadn't tasted vegetables in quite a long time. "Hm-mm! Thanku, Akio! That was really good!" she announced after licking her plate clean. Outside, the storm kept on roaring, but it was weakening from having to continue since two days ago.

"Your Welcome, Faith! I knew my cooking skills would come in handy one day." He said with a smile. He picks up the plate and put it in the trash bag. He looks outside as the snow was calming down a little. If the blizzard end soon... Faith and I can leave the cave alive and happy together. He said to himself.

"Indeedy." she said with a contented sigh as she fell back to the ground playfully exhausted from eating. Faith rolled on her side to look over at Akio. She lay, thinking for a while, about the consequences of what she was bout to say, and the possible responses she'd get from Akio. "You know, I really like you, Akio."

Akio blushes. His whole head looked like a tomato. "I... I really like you too, Faith." He said as he contiune blushing. "But..." He pauses. "I more than like you... I... love you.."

"Ha, I was hoping you'd say that." she said as she blinked at the fire. The fumes were starting to make her eyes look as if she were crying. Yet, Faith was smiling. It was nearing night and the temperature dropped a bit outside, making the use of the fire more essential

Akio walks towards Faith. He sees her crying and he think it might be something he said. "Faith... Why are you crying?" He felt a chill as the wind blew in the cave. The fire almost burn out and Akio only had eonugh fire wood for one more night.

"Ha, no. It's the fumes. Really dries out your eyes fast!" she explained quickly. Faith looked at her leg and stayed quiet. Her mind raced with thoughts of Akio and her leg and all sorts of things that were coming and going at speeds so fast, it made Faith dizzy. "Let's sleep the rest of this adventure out."

Akio nods his head agreeing. "Yeah. Hopefully tomorrow is a better day." He said as he made a little bed on the floor with blankets. He stretches and yawns; he looks outside again and see the snow claming down a little more. He sighs and looks at Faith and her leg.

Faith squinted at the fire and made her way to the nest to lay down. She sighed and started to hum a song ot herself, to try and lull herself into a sleep to keep her occupied until dawn the next day. The song sounded relaxing and Faith found it like so in her mind. "Can't fall away from yo-ur past..." she sang to herself quietly.

Aiko smiles at Faith as she hums herself to sleep. He snuggles right beside her and falls sleep.

A struggling breeze awoke Faith as she lay next to Akio. "Haha, I don't want no bacon, stupid.." she mumbled. She realized it was the wind and jolted her eyes open. "Hey! That's wind! There's an opening!" she said after she lifted her head with surprise.

Akio woke up and looks out. The breeze of the wind made him cold. "Thats great! We might can get out of here!" He looks out the cave seeing that the snow is really heavy on the mountain tops. He feels a shake under him. He thought it was an earthquake but it was an avalanche. "Faith! We have to go now! an avalanche is over this cave and we might get traped forever!!" He yelled.

"Hmm, that sucks." she thought out loud. Faith gathered up some newly-found adreline strength and limped out of the cave on three legs with quite some speed for someone who could hardly stand up on three. It was more of a bounce, really. Faith waited until she was far enough from the cave and waited for Akio to escape as well.
