Pie Dalvar Pie Dalvar Pie That would be wonderful! heart Would the ball on the 15th be in the middle, then? (And is that a yeah to "yeah I'd like to write it" or "yeah you should"? sweatdrop ) That was a yeah you should. XD Yes, the ball would be in the middle. heart So... that means we'll start on Friday the 12th (thank goodness it's not the 13th) and end on Thursday the 18th. Right? Sounds fine with me, when ever you want. ^.^ Okay! We'll have a whole festival, then! From the 12th to the 18th, with a ball on the night of the 15th! There will be lots for everyone to do, both in running the event and enjoying it! Now we just need to decide on the time for the ball itself. sweatdrop All of the Gaian 15th?

Just gave you an update on the petition thread: Pie Well, we're thinking there will be a festival from the 12th to the 18th, with the ball itself on the 15th. We are not sure of the time for the ball, but Dalvar has suggested running it all day on the 15th. I don't see a problem with this, except that we'll have to get enough staff to accomodate such a long affair. Gaia Unlimited is willing to host the event. If so, catering will not be a problem, since there seems to be a slew of restaurants which have already set up in Gaia Unlimited. During this time, we want to have many activities and the like, and plenty of contests, though the amount of prizes we can give away relies heavily on the amount of donations Heli receives.

Hello everyone!
The offer was made for Gaia Unlimited to host the upcoming sunflowers for peace event. We have discussed the possibility, and at this point it all seems quite certain that we are all in favor of it.
On behalf of the4bodingdawn, to whom the inital idea is credited, and the coordinators of the event, I would like to officially accept this offer.
We want this event to be as large and as fun as possible. If a subforum for the event could be set up, that would be wonderful.

Could someone start gathering the volunteers and finding jobs for them? The only official staff titles I know are that Evil Pepper, Dalvar and myself are "Event Coordinator"s.
We'll need security roles, catering roles, serving roles...
Also, as far as names go: does anyone have problems with the festival being called the Sunflowers for Peace Festival (and no, the SPF acronym is purely unintentional *just noticed that*) and the ball itself being called simply the Peace Ball?

I just think calling them the same thing would be a little redundant, and the full name should go to the full festival.
