She smiled to his saying, "I don't understand why you would be upset about it. I think you look great the way you are." She giggled lightly and then nodded. "No no! It's perfectly fine... I can understand that people get confused when they see me. And you're not offending me at all." she replied with another soft smile. "Though... to be honest with you, I've never really known what I was. There used to be a time when I was in my teenage years where a lot of questions were raised upon me, and yet I have never gotten or found any answers." she explained with a now serious tone of voice. Her blue eyes gazed on their surrounding once more.
"I was adopted... and when I look back at those pictures of myself when I was still an infant, I looked just like any other little girls coming into this world. But after a few years, horns pierced through my hair and a tail grew on my lower back." she took a short break. "And I remember it was painful too." she made a funny face and then laughed softly. "With these racial features I've been given many names. A demon, a succubi... though mind you I'm far from being a succubi. Hmm... hybrid even. I just say I'm an ordinary caucasian girl, with horns and a tail." to those words she smiled and winked at him in a playful manner.

Xennik flushed with pleasure as she complimented his looks. Despite the fact that he was constantly reminded about his looks, it felt somehow special coming from her. That's it, I'm completely lost. He thought, rolling his eyes at himself. He was intrigued by the mystery of what she was. Not even she knew! Seeing her wink caused him to grin and he had a hard time resisting the urge to wrap his arms around her. Good greif. He wasn't usually so aggressively affectionate. He must have eaten something different today or something.
"Hear we are." He said, stopping at the entrance of a very official looking building with a rather fancy land-scaping work done on the front walk way, he led her to the front door and inside the building, then turned and took both of her hands. "Close your eyes." He said, his own eyes sparkling. Once she had obeyed he led her down a hallway to the right and then stopped, releasing her hands just long enough to turn to enter a code in the door, then led her inside. "Okay, you can open your eyes now." He whispered, his voice unusually soft. They were in a medium-sized room full of soft grasses and asian trees. Sitting only a few feet away was a live panda, watching Kana with wary interest despite seeming completely comfortable with Xennik being there. "Meet Niri. I worked with her a few years ago, when she was just a little thing. Keep your voice low and don't move too quickly, they can be aggressive if they're frightened, but she's a gentle thing, aren't you, Niri?" He cooed to the young panda, who tilted her head and almost seemed to smile at the sound of his voice.

"You're a re-searcher aren't you? You could help me figure out what I am exactly... no?" she laughed softly. Kana didn't want to turn out like some sort of weird creature, she was just curious as to what her origins could be. Though she wasn't sure if she did the right thing by saying this to him. Then as they finally arrived, she was slightly surprise to see just an ordinary building, but when Xennik led her inside, she figured it could be something else he wanted to show her and not this simple building. Once they were inside, she obeyed him and closed her eyes. She was tempted to take a peak once in a while, but she figured it wouldn't be much of a joyful surprise to her if she did so. When they finally arrived, Xennik let her open her eyes to an amazing sight.
It looked like an asian paradise in the middle of an office building! Kana couldn't believe her eyes. Her blue gaze landed on the creature in the middle of the room, which actually happened to be a panda. For a minute, she couldn't believe her eyes and wanted to ask if it was real. But she quickly got an answer to her question when the panda moved and seemed to recongnize Xennik. Her eyes didn't leave the creature as he explained what it was doing here and why he had managed to enter. Kanashimii wanted to squeal and jump in every direction so much the panda was adorable. It was the prettiest creature she had ever seen! Trying to calm down, she smiled happily at the panda. "Niri-chan..." her words were almost a whisper so much her voice was low. The last thing she wanted to do, was to scare the poor thing. She turned to Xennik with such passion in her eyes, she could have kissed him right there. Instead she just gave him her most beautiful smile, squeezing his hands into her. "This is amazing... thank you!"

Xennik kept his gaze on the panda, calming and reassuring her with gentle noises. But then he heard Kana's soft whisper and turned to look at her. He was nearly thrown off his feet at the amount of emotion in her eyes, and immediately he felt himself grow warmer. Well, apparently his plan had been a success. She was thrilled. She pulled his hands against her chest, gifting him with a sparkling smile that actually made him swoon. The warmth of her hands holding his against her and the affection in her smile took his breath away. When he finally realized how long he'd been letting her hold his hands like this, he pulled away. "W-we won't be able to stay long," he stuttered, fussing with his hat to keep his nervous hands busy. Wow, she had quite the smile. To keep himself busy and give him an excuse not to look at her (lest she see his blushing face), he took his hat off, shaking his head to loosen his hair. With one deft motion he swept the feather off of his hat, flipped it through his fingers, and attached it magically to his belt, so it fell fown the side of his leg. He usually only took his hat off in company with which he felt very comfortable. Kana definetly counted as hatless company, despite the fact that they'd only known each other for about twenty four hours.

Kana watched Xennik as he took off his hat and fiddled around with his feather. She wasn't too sure what he was doing, but he looked like he was trying to avoid her gaze. Then noticing his flushed cheeks, she realized what she had done. She couldn't help but smile. They have both made each others blush all day so far, and it was rather amusing. It seemed to her like they were getting along very well, and that this date could turn into a real story. She dared to speak to break the silence between them. "Maybe we should go then... if you say we can't really stay for long. I wouldn't want to get you in trouble." she said with a soft smile. She had finally gotten around being more comfortable and confident around him. Taking his hand didn't make her heart race as much as it used to. But Kana still blushed when her blue eyes looked up at him. The way his dark hair fell in front of his eyes gave him so much charm, she felt lucky to be around him like this.
She turned to look over at the panda. "It was a pleasure to meet you, Niri-chan!" she said with a smile, bowing her head to the panda. The young woman returned her attention back on Xennik, "Ready to go?" she asked.

Xennik's head was still somewhere in the clouds. He was trying so hard to hide how much she was affecting him that he'd completely lost track of what was going on. He only half-heard her words. He was jolted rather pleasantly back into reality by her taking his hand. He nodded and led her from the room with a final coo of goodbye to the young adult panda and a charming wave with the hand holding his hat.
"So I take it that idea was a success?" He asked as they left, watching her face. Her cheeks were still flushed. She must have really enjoyed that. Or maybe she actually enjoyed spending tome with him...
Yeah right. Reality check for Xennik, please.

Kana smiled softly and nodded at him. "Yes, of course it was successful! I love pandas!" she giggled, thinking back about the adorable creature. Besides, she didn't exactly wanted to tell him, but she enjoyed spending time with him and didn't want the day to end. Well what the heck! "And... I really like spending time with you." she said with another smile and flushed cheeks. She tried her hardest not to look away. And now that she had admited that to him, she wasn't too sure what to say next. She disliked these kinds of silence between them... unless they were sealed with a kiss. Thinking about that made her blush even more. She had kissed some guys before, and it never made her feel this way. What was it about him? He was different, somehow.
"Hum... so what do you feel like doing next?" she asked, as they exited the building.

Xennik grinned with pleasure at her confession. She enjoyed spending time with him! Oh, great, now they were both blushing. And there was something...hungry aout the way she was looking at him. Yeah, right. He was just putting expressions on her face because he wanted an excuse to kiss her.
Had he ever blushed any harder?
"We-well...it's getting late..." Wait, what was he doing?! Who cared if it was getting late? If the day ended, they might...he might ot ever... "I know an excellent place around here to eat, if you wouldn't mind skipping out on the picnic?" He suggested, trying to cover up for his blunder. They were still in the richer part of barton, and anywhere to eat around here would be expensive and ritzy. He actually looked forward to spoiling her.

Her smile disappeared as soon as she heard him say it was getting late. She didn't want this day to end, not yet, when they could still do so much together, spend some more time in each others presence. She was about to say something when he suddenly suggested they go to eat. Kana's usual soft smile re-appeared on her lips and she nodded over at Xennik. "Yes! Let's go eat a little something... just you and I." she laughed and grabbed his arm, leading him around the street. Her eyes shined like the stars that were slowly appearing in the sky. She was happy being around him like this, it was so much fun.
"What would you like to eat?" she asked, looking up at him.

At the words 'just you and I', Xennik had to roll his lips inward and bite them in order to keep a big grin from plastering itself across his face, and he flushed happily. Even moreso when she grabbed his arm, and they were off again. "Well, we have something in common," he said in response to her question, "I can't resist Italian food." This time he allowed himself to smile a whole smile as he pulled her toward an Italian restaurant that he'd eaten at a few times before and greatly enjoyed. "Pasta, noodles, and chicken to your heart's content."

Kana couldn't help be giggle as he admited wanting some italian food, just as like she loved it. They walked together as Xennik lead her towards a near restaurant. As they entered, a man about their age greeted them, to then lead them over to a table for too further inside the restaurant. The tables around them were mostly empty, so they would be able to spend some quality time together, without fearing to disturb anyone around them... or have anyone disturbing them. Kana took a seat and smiled over at Xennik as he did the same. The waiter handed them their menu, Kana opened it up as she licked up lips, her eyes gazing about all the words. "Hmm... thinking about it, now I'm pretty hungry." she said with a giggle.

Xennik chuckled, pulling out a seat across from her at the small table for two. "Well, then, we seem to have come to the right place. The servings in this place are enormous. The last time I came, I couldn't finish it all, and I can eat like a monster if the opportunity arrises." Whoa. Time out. Why was he admitting to stuff like this? He bit his lip, hiding his embarrassment behind his menu, despite the fact that he already knew what he wanted.

Kanashimii giggled softly to his saying and nodded. The tip of her index finger slide around the menu as she tried to figure out what she wanted to eat exactly. Everything sounded so delicious she had a hard time deciding on what she wanted to try. "Hmmm..." her eyes stopped on one dish that sounded more delicious than the others. A dish of spaghettini noodles with red onions, mushrooms and spinach all put together with a chicken basilic sauce. Kana's mouth got watery just to the thought of tasting it. She smiled over at Xennik, putting her closed menu down in front of her. "Have you made a choice?" she asked softly, seeing the waiter coming back to their table.

"Mm-hmm." Xennik hummed the affirmative, putting his menu (and shield) down as well as the waiter approached. He nodded for her to order first, then ordered Chicken Fetuccini Alfredo and vegetable soup, the soup a personal favorite of his wherever he went to eat. When the waiter left with their orders, Xennik flailed about inwardly for a topic of conversation. He was trying so hard not to say the wrong thing, yet he kept making mistakes anyway. He really wasn't cut out for this whole dating experience.
Stirring the ice around in his glass of water with his straw, he asked, "How do you think the others are doing on their little adventure?" There. That topic was a good one. They could both relate, and if he was careful, he could control himself from shooting off and trying to explain the anatomy of Pala to her and boring her to tears. That always turned people off.

She smiled to the waiter as he left and kept silent for a moment. She figured she had talked enough already for the day and maybe Xennik had something he wanted to talk as well too. Well after all, it was only an excuse to listen to his charming voice. She smiled up at him as she heard him spoke and nodded. "I'm sure they are fine. Jaenelle is very mature for a young kyunru like she is." she said. She sipped at her water and then spoke once more, "And your kyuria looked to be rather serious too." she chuckled. As she looked down at the table they were sitting at, she noticed two small candles light in the center and then his large hand on one side, not too far away. She blushed lightly to the thought of grabbing his hands and hesitated for a second, but then slowly slide her hand into his, as if he had taken her hand first, holding her fingers into his palm. Her gaze looked up at him, a smile curving up her pink lips. Hopefully she wouldn't have moved to fast on him this time...
