Alouette's eyes lit up, a smile dancing within, upon the sight of the cookie extended to her. Though she had played the sharing game, Aloo was only a baby and, upon Xana's offering, took the cookie without a second thought. As she munched on the cookie she flashed her broadest smile at Xana.
Koosh, on the other hand, couldn't help but feel some guilt. "She says thank you," Koosh said, "very much, huh Ally?" Ally clapped happily. Noticing something in the corner of her eye, Koosh turned to see that Pitch, ever the curious daemon, curled up in the stroller.

Cressida giggled. "She'll say it when she's ready and then, just you watch, she'll never be quiet again. I hear little girls are like that." Opening her purse again, she took out a pen and handed it to Quixana who accepted it solemnly before digging for a little notebook. "Annie isn't speaking yet, of course, but give her time. Xana is teaching her, aren't you, darling?"
Quixana nodded. "Yep," he agreed. "Meme'll learn." He looked over at Alouette. "Aloo has to meet Meme an' we can all play."
"That's what I'm seeing about arranging," his mother smiled, retrieving the pen from him so she could scribble out some details on a sheet torn from a pink and floral notepad. "Koosh, here's my phone number, my address, everything. Just in case. After all, we can't let these two never see each other again, can we?"

Koosh grinned, nodding with Cressida's statement, "I have a feeling that the moment she starts talking I'll have never wished it upon her. Though I am curious to see what this little girl has to say!"
Noticing that Cressida had pulled out the stationary Koosh soon pulled out her own pen and pad of paper. Balancing Ally in her lap she wrote the trio's names, her home address, and home phone. Sliding the paper over the table Koosh chuckled, "No, I don't think we can. And I can't wait to meet this Annie you keep speaking of!" After slipping the paper Cressida had given her into her purse Koosh stood up.
"Thank you so much for everything, again. I can't tell you how many things you've cleared up!"

Cressida laughed, pocketed the slip of paper, and leaned over to hug Koosh and drop a kiss on Alouette's cheek. "I don't know about that but I'm glad we met," she answered merrily. "New friends are always appreciated." Absently, she lifted Quixana from his seat and lowered him to the ground, checking his buttons and mittens and scarf.
Toddling over to stand beside Koosh, Quixana bowed deeply. "Bye bye," he said cheerfully as he straightened and waved. "Bye bye, Aloo. We'll play later. Bye bye, Pitch."
Courage followed her Forgotten's example and nodded her heavy head. Gently, she nuzzled Pitch until he tumbled over. Take care of her, little Pitch. We'll play later.

"Goodbye Quixana, it was lovely meeting you." Smiling she turned to Ally, "Can you say bye bye to your new friends?"
Waving her hand, as Xana had done, Ally squealed an, "Eyeeeee!" To her group of new best friends. Pitch, after springing back onto his feet, responded to Courage with a hearty, Oh! You bet'cha, darn tootin', won't let ya down. He ended his zesty speech with, play!. That seemed to strike well upon the daemon and he trotted around the stroller in an excited manner.
Koosh, placing Ally back in the stroller made her way out of the restaurant. Before leaving however, she turned around to the party and grinned, "It was a pleasure meeting you, can't wait 'till we can get together again." And with that she walked out of cafe, homeward bound.
