One of the smaller support vessels' shields collapsed under intense ion fire and transports launched from a battleship to go reclaim the ship. The Zeus flagship Aierlus moved forward to directly engage the Defender, though the battle would be short lived as the Defender could best the Aierlus in combat any day.

The VC-33T was finally approaching the target. The Jump Master ran to the Colonel. "Sir, we are approaching the target. We can jump in thirty seconds."
Daisuke nodded, looked at his men, and spoke through the suit's internal comm system that allowed him to speak to them without having to yell. "Alright, men. We are approaching the target. We jump in thirty seconds remember to use your jump jets to guide you down onto the hull. Now let's get in position."
As Daisuke spoke the Jump Master walked over to a set of controls. He pressed a button and the rear hatch started to open. Daisuke stood behind the thirteen marines and his eleven pilots, he would make twenty-five and since he was the senior officer he would jump last. The would be the first boarding of its kind with the OMSF but Daisuke still expected his men to perform flawlessly.

The Defender's ion fire clashed with the laser fire coming from the Aierlus in a spectacular display of blue and green bolts. The shields of the Aierlus flickered for a millisecond, showing signs of weakness in the ship. Meanwhile, two other support ships had lost shields and transport were launching to reclaim them. The carrier-cruiser that had failed first was being boarded. The transports hit the hull and fusion drilled a airtight hole into the ship through which the boarding parties were entering.

As the VC-33T drew closer to its Zeus-class target, it became clear that it was one of the ships constructed for the OMSF but that did not change their mission. They wouldn't be performing a normal boarding op even on OMSF standards. The men began to jump from the rear of the transport into the space. From there they would use their jump jets to propel themselves through space and onto the hull of the ship. Daisuke was the final man to land of the ship's hull.
"Alright, five teams of five. Hatake, Hawkins, Davis, Smith, we me." After that Daisuke split the rest of the men into groups and assigned each group a section of the ship to secure. One group was assigned to each hangar, the main body of the ship was assigned to two teams working from the center to opposite ends, and Daisuke assigned his team to capture the bridge of the ship. After the groups were formed, given designations, and orders they moved to their locations. Daisuke also gave each group a set of mission objectives, disable ship's artifical gravity, life support systems, and kill or capture any rebel. Each team would breach the hull using a device to rapidly cut through a ships hull.

On the two ships that had already been breached, the fighting was almost over with control returning to the Federation. On the other, the fighting was intensifying. One of the other Zeus' shields fell to ion fire and breach teams were sent to it. The center of the battle was also drawing to a close as the Aierlus' shields flickered again then dropped. The Zeus continued to fire, but all power on the Defender was pushed to shields. Breach transports launched from the hanger and screamed the short distance to the Aierlus and began to drill into it's hull.

Daisuke and the men under his command had effectively entered the ship. Each team was on its way to secure assigned area, but along the way they met with resistance. The resistance they faced would not stop them, they quickly dispatched the rebels using their Moritas' smart ammo in conjuction with their helmets' high-tech targeting and ranging assessment displays. At their present pace it would take several minutes to secure their section, which to each team meant they were not working fast enough.

The Bellerophon kept firing its medium weapons as not to destroy any of the ships, especially since it was nearly impossible for the Bellerophon to know which ship had allied boarding parties onboard.

Three of the ships had stopped firing now and were floating dorment in space, captured by the Federation troops. The last of Zeus class ships had lost its shields and been boarded. Near the bridge or the Aierlus, the fiercest resistance would be encountered, since here was where the leader of this breakaway group was. The brig was liberated along with the person who ejected the computer core to lead us to them. He was handed a rifle and helped in the attack on the bridge.

About two minutes later, Daisuke and his group entered and secured the bridge. From their they took control of the life support system and reduced to a point where it could cause mid hypoxia. Daisuke had Kai deactivate the gravity controls. Daisuke himself hooked his power suit's comm system to the ship's so he could send a message to the Defender. "Defender this is Miyamoto, we have secured Zeus-class Vessel..." He looked around quickly to see if there hull number anywhere around. "...HBC-005. I must apologize for our delay, had I known it would have been this easy I would come over with five or ten men at the most instead of twenty-five." It was true Daisuke was disappointed in his performance as well as those of his command, the Federation had captured most of the ships already.

The Defender sent an acknowledgment and and marked the ship as safe. The other Zeuses that had been boarded were secured. Onboard the Aierlus, the bridge blast doors were opened and a wave of neural fire filled the bridge. The pulses were enough to knock a person out, but cause no structural harm to the ship. Almost everyone went down with the first wave. The traitor was secured as well as the bridge. A confirmation was sent to the Defender, making it the last ship to fall. A victory was declared, with all the ships returning to Federation/Omega control, the traitor captured and the resistance dissolved.

Daisuke then switched to the comms channel to connect with the VC-33T that brought them to the ship. "Ship is secured you are to report to the main starboard hangar." Daisuke's ordered the men under his command to search the ship for traitors and secure them in the brig before returning environmental systems to normal and opening the main starboard hangar. While his men were doing that Daisuke stayed on the bridge.

The Defender sent a message on a coded relay to the base of operations requesting the tugs come to the coordinates. Meanwhile, the Defender accelerated over the top of the Aierlus and help position there. When the fleet tugs arrived, they would tow the ships to the drive yards at nearby Calimdoor for refits, repairs and redesignation. Sitting in the Command Salon, Vice Admiral Kane and his Executive Officer share a drink. "Now that I think about it, it's rather funny that the Aierlus was the flagship of that fleet. It makes sense." The XO sipped his drink and nodded.
In the history of the Confederacy Empire, there was an Admiral known mainly by his last name, Aierlus. He was a naval genius, leading the Confederacy to many victories. Midway through a war, Admiral Aierlus defected to the other side and led to many crushing defeats for the Confederacy. Near the end of the war, ConFed developed cloaking technology, and Admiral Aierlus defected back to the Empire. The ship was named after him as a military genius, and it served him in his other aspect as well.

Daisuke was still on the bridge of the HBC-005 and looking around it. "So this is the new ship that the OMSF developed and the Confederacy Empire made a reality." Daisuke walked over to a plaque on the farside of the bridge that had the ship's class, hull number, and a enemy spot for its name to go. "It has no name, huh? It it were up to me I'd name it the Wrath of Valor." Daisuke was remember his old Glorious Heritage ship, which was listed as destroyed for a long period of time.
Daisuke snapped out of his trance like state and opened a channel with the Defender. "This is Colonel Miyamoto, awaiting orders from Admiral Kane for the rest of the mission."

"Vice Admiral Kane here. Plans right now are waiting for the fleet tugs. Then we're tugging these ships to Calimdoor for refits and repairs. After that, we're gonna divide up the Zeuses and give you the appropriate amount to take home with some crews."
