I really like the pairing of Zexion with Marluxia, or Zemyx (ZexionXDemyx). It's just cute. heart

Warning, extremely long post up ahead. I did warn you, skim over it if you must because it mostly is just babbling on and on from my part. I write way too much. But if you do want to read over my thoughts, then go right ahead and I hope you somewhat enjoy my endless babble.

My favourite pairings for Zexion are probably with Demyx, Axel, Lexaeus, and Xemnas. For Ienzo, I do somewhat wonder about him and Ansem the Wise though I don't really think of them as a pairing like the others. But anyways I'll now speak my opinions of the pairings I listed, besides Ansem/Ienzo cause I don't really think of them as a pairing but I will speak of the two.

Zexion/Demyx

I enjoy Zemyx because of the fact of the old concept, opposites attract. It is true that they are very much opposites and I think it's a good basis to work on. Sure they weren't in the same game but as they were apart of the same group, they might of met at some point. True I do think that Zexion would be indifferent to Demyx and Demyx might not want to associate with Zexion but there's always that what if?

Reading different interpretations of this pairing in fanfictions is fascinating because a lot of them are different from the other and provides more insight on what others feel about this pairing. For me, the pairing is nice. I like how it came about, albeit it can be slightly odd since they have no interactions with each other that is shown but it does let imagination take over. The "what if" question is interesting to me.

As the two are in different games, it is hard to say whether or not they've interacted with one another. I do think that Zexion would probably ignore Demyx, I don't think Zexion would find Demyx interesting just more of another nobody in the Organization. I think the only ones Zexion would converse with are the other first members and maybe Saix and Axel (just cause Saix was 2nd-in-command I think and Axel seems like he might butt in).

But the "what if" chance is a big thing to me, like what if Demyx spoke to Zexion for just one second. I think it could change things up a bit, and I do think that could lead to a somewhat conversation though perhaps a forced one. Zemyx is an odd couple but I think that given the chance it could work out, sure opposites attract is a nice thing but it can only extend to so far.

I do like this pairing, but they didn't have any interaction with one another and it's hard to see anything other than the whole opposites attract thing and because they look pretty together. Though because of fandom pairing up characters, the pairing is given a chance for us to imagine and wonder and think upon the question of "what if".

They may never meet for our eyes to see but deep inside we can wonder what may happen if those two spoke. I'll always like this pairing, because it stands out and I do think that that idea of opposites attracting is very nice indeed.

Axel/Zexion

Well when playing Chain of Memories I enjoyed both of those characters. I found both to be appealing characters. Axel was so wild looking with his bright eyes, crazy hair, weird grin, and markings under his eyes. He was odd looking and he just appealed to me because of the way he was. For Zexion, we didn't know much about him from the game and that pulled me to him. It made me want more, to know more about Zexion.

However that wouldn't be the case, as you all know. Because of Axel, Zexion suffered and though it wasn't shown it gave off the impression that perhaps Zexion wasn't coming back. Oh sure I imagined all sorts of things after that scene, because of it not being shown I was all for Zexion being alive. But I always had that nagging voice at the back of my mind that perhaps he really was gone. It was saddening to see all those members go down, especially one that I really liked.

But it had happened. However during that scene made me also wonder something else. I did find it cute how Axel was teasing almost to point that he christened Zexion with a nickname, 'Zexy'. Oh sure that put my fangirl mind into motion and boy I squealed with giddyness until of course that entire scene hit me with force and then I disliked Axel for letting Replica Riku do that to Zexion. Though the nickname still interested me.

I liked it a lot, the nickname. It was sort of like a petname in a way and I began to like the pairing Axel/Zexion. I still thought of possible ways of Zexion being fine so that the two could be together, foolish fangirl mind of mine. But then came KH2. I played through the game and found that perhaps Axel/Zexion weren't meant to be. Axel did seem quite taken with Roxas and so all my thoughts of Axel and Zexion being together were shut down.

Though there was still apart of me that still wanted to see a chance that perhaps there was still something more between the two. And now I think that the only chance of it working out is if the two had a thing before Roxas, when there was only 8 instead of 13. Even if that wouldn't work so great I think, their personalities seem to clash to me and once Roxas came into the picture it would be all over.

But still that nickname is still important to me because it popped out from all Axel's other words. He seemed almost teasing to me and uncaring as well, though the inner fangirl within me still sings at the sight of a somewhat hint to something more. Even if nothing was there at all and me being obsessed with nicknames and such just went into a inner yay mood.

I do think that Axel/Roxas is amazing but Axel/Zexion is still special because it was the first Organization instance where I thought that there might be something more. Albeit there probably wasn't anything there at all but I do still like it and will like it for quite awhile. And at least they've met one another so it's not completely hopeless.

Lexaeus/Zexion

I do like friendship pairings and they do seem to understand each other, if perhaps only a bit. From Chain of Memories I got the impression that they were comrades, they seemed to like each other and respect each other. They both seemed to understand what each other was after and I did feel as if they trusted each other well enough. Because of a somewhat friendship between the two I like the pairing.

Albeit this pairing seems more of a platonic friendship then a hot and heavy romance. I think with the two being fine with each other, I think it could lead to a good friendship with the two perhaps understanding each other fully. It has a good basis and it could be just a friendship but because of friendship the two would work more I think than other pairings involving Zexion.

The two were always seen together in Chain of Memories, except when they had to go and stop Riku of course. They were together in the way Marluxia and Larxene were together. Vexen came and went between the two groups while Axel wasn't really apart of any group, sure he was more so apart of Marluxia's group but he still wasn't with them. So because of Lexaeus and Zexion being seen together a lot, I think shows that the two are fine with each other.

Of course, sure Zexion didn't like doing the dirty work himself and he let Vexen and Lexaeus off themselves, better them than him I suppose but I still think that Zexion may somewhat like Lexaeus. And if not, I think Lexaeus may somewhat like Zexion because of the fact that he understood that Zexion didn't like dirtying is own hands and so he didn't complain about taking care of Riku, he just went. Lexaeus seems to understand Zexion best I think and friendships are nice really.

Bonding with another, in a group that can lead to traitors, you really need to find someone you can trust. And I think the way Lexaeus and Zexion were always together gives me the thought that perhaps they liked each well enough and that they could trust each other. They stuck together when they could and I liked that. Friendship pairings are great and I'll always like this pairing because of the fact that they were fine with one another.

Xemnas/Zexion

Gosh where to start with this strange pairing. I do like it and it is mostly because of a dream that I had. It was a long while ago but it does stand out to me. In my dream the two were together and that was it, I immensely began to like the pair. Sure they do look wonderfully gorgeous together but that is besides the point.

I think the two are similiar in a way. Sure their personalities are distinct from each other but I do find that they do seem like they could get along with one another because of their personalities. They seem the type to me to converse with one another about ideas and goals and things like that. I think they could be able to converse with each other well, and be able to appreciate one another's ideas.

This pairing is strange and not too many people enjoy it but I like it. It's true that they would look lovely together but I think what would be more fascinating to me would be conversation, it would be insanely interesting to me to think and wonder upon what the two would speak about. They both seem quite intelligent to me and I think that would equal good conversation. This pairing just seems good to me and I enjoy it.

Ansem the Wise and Ienzo

I always found it strange how Ienzo was the only one to convince Ansem to let them conduct more experiments. That made me think that perhaps Ansem had a soft spot for Ienzo. I do not think that Ansem thought of Ienzo as 'something more' but I do think that he seemed to care enough about Ienzo to allow him and the others to conduct experiments.

Perhaps Ansem cared about Ienzo because he was younger than the others, and maybe Ansem thought of Ienzo as a son or maybe an heir. He let Ienzo and the others do what they wanted once Ienzo asked and it showed that Ansem might do anything Ienzo asked. He cared about what Ienzo wanted to do and he let him do it.

He was an apprentice like the others but maybe Ienzo was more important to Ansem because of the way he was, he could of been very intelligent and true he could of been like a son to Ansem. Whatever the reason was, Ansem seemed to agree at once to what Ienzo wanted.

Or perhaps Ienzo was just a manipulative person and he swayed Ansem to agree with him. Ienzo does seem to be younger than the other five and do to him being younger he may of been able to manipulate Ansem, who perhaps thought that Ienzo would never do such a thing.

Whatever the true reason was, I like how Ansem agreed to his youngest apprentice's demands because it gave off the impression of deeper feelings. Not saying a being together relationship but perhaps more of Ansem being a fatherly figure and caring about Ienzo in terms of being maybe like a son or an heir.

(Oh my gosh so long and also so long since I've posted in here. Just was looking through my guilds and went oh yeah haven't checked this place out in quite awhile. I write way too much and yet I still feel for some that I could talk even more about that pairing. Just wanted to write down my opinions so I hope people are fine with it. Sorry for the errors I'm sure that are in there, I tried to catch them all but probably missed a few.)
