R'ael knew well enough that although only the 'p' had made it past Kahlin's lips, 'patch' wasn't the word that had sprung to his brothers mind, though the tension makes Rikk hiss and flap his own wings, dangling from his grip on R'aels shirt, though he remains in stony silence till G'dor stalks off, sulking. "You almost said something and he's sure it was going to be 'parasite'. He didn't used to be that way. He was the bullied one. Guess it made him deside to be the bully now." He noted, shifting uncomfortably and casting a glance toward Caleten, who'd overheard. "So much for us making up right? He's been insufferable. He always over sleeps and he keeps blaming ME for it."

Orana yawned, another turn gone and a new one began. She realized she would be her naming day soon and she would be a turn older. She smiled shoving the fact she was getting older out of her head and walked in to the festivities with everyone else. Orana shook her head seeing some men playing a drinking game but she paid them no heed she preferred keeping an even head even on this day.
Orana saw G'dor and R'ael fighting and watched not knowing what she should do or if she should just leave it alone, they were brothers after all she didn't know what it was like to have another sibling. Orana decided to intervene. Orana had decided they shouldn't be fighting not during a party anyway. "Hey!" Orana waved then offered a kind smile to them both as she walked over to G'dor and R'ael. Her other hand was preoccupied rubbing the little golden queen flit on her shoulder who was cooning contenly.

Chayse "Win me over?" He scoffed, "More like do away with me. I'd happily join in their games against you, except they haven't started them yet." He made a face, "It's because I'm short. You've got some intimidation to you." He waved a hand at K'rels' manly figure, "That and they're really all just frightened off by that scowl you have." A small smirk replaced the pout that had been forming and he tilted his glass to K'rel, "That is, the scowl that is apparently there unless you've had what, three? Four? Glasses of wine." He peered into his own cup, "It's not so bad, once you get used to it I suppose. My tongue's traditionally very loose, so I expect this would make me more eloquent. You, however," He poked him again, then leaned over to snatch some food from the table behind them, "You could do with some tongue loosening. I've yet to see you put your foot in your mouth. That shouldn't only be occuring in Harpers. I demand equal shares among all the crafts, dragonriders included." "Is this the part where I puff up my chest and strut about like Siv?" he asked in regards to the comment on how intimidating his was, straightening up and squaring his shoulders as if to do just that. However, he merely tipped his glass towards T'bell in reply, lifting a brow questioningly. "Or, perhaps, the scowl that is there unless I am actually speaking with someone whose company I enjoy?" He disappeared into his glass for a moment, stiffling a laugh at some private joke as the greenrider went on. However, before he spoke, he straightened up once more, taking a step closer to T'bell and peering imperiously down at him. "And will you be the one to loosen my tongue, little green?"

"Enjoy, or merely tolerate because I am persistant and your dragon would eat you if you turned Liliath away." He pouted at K'rels' badly hidden laughter and was about to wrack his brain when he found himself looking up at the brownrider.
He stepped on his foot again. "I think I would attribute that to the wine." He attempted to peer over the rim of the glass. "Though if that was a subtle hint to fetch you more I'm not sure if I should hit you or oblige, or both."

"Either or, a bit of both, perhaps." He grinned, momentarily gaining the distracted look of one conversing with his dragon before his eyes slid back to the greenrider. "Siventh says to assure you that he would indeed eat me if I turn Liliath away, and you are free to pester me to whatever extent you please."
And this time he did laugh, draining the last of his glass and passing it back across the table for another refill. "Then I shall do so myself. Perhaps you'll see my tongue trip yet."

"Yes, you owe me some stuttering and stumbling over your words." He poked him but backed off his foot. "And that's very nice of Siventh. Please let him know that I will do my best to bother you incessantly." He gave him a cheeky grin and ate the pastry he'd grabbed, offering half to Zephyr who took it with a chirp.
With an eye to his own wine, only his second and not even finished yet, he poked the brownrider again. "I don't suppose a wingrider should be carrying his wingsecond back to his weyr. I doubt I could hold you." He snickered, "On the other hand I really think you'd be interesting after a bit of wine."

"I can't promise stuttering and stumbling, but perhaps some slurring here and there. Siventh says he's looking forward to it," he added as he accepted his once-again-full wine glass. This was, what, his fourth glass? It didn't matter. K'rel was pretty good at holding his alcohol, but even then he wouldn't mind acting a bit drunk tonight. That was what Turnover was for. Drunken antics.
"Just get me too the stables and Arina will take care of me. Though I'd thank you to not let L'cian know if I pass out. I'm sure he'd be less than thrilled with Threadfall so near." He grimaced, sipping from the glass.

"Oh yes. I'll just carry you down to the stables, K'rel." He gave him a pointed look. "I can lift my firestone, and that's about it. YOU are certainly heavier than a few sacks of firestone. And dead-weight." He grinned, "How about I just chuck you in with Task and Tabesk and see how you fare in the morning? They wouldn't eat you but I'm not sure if they'd be able to resist a good chew."

"Really? I nearly said patch since the multicolor hair reminded me as a calico patch on a cat." He sigh watching G'dor sulk off. "I don't get why he blames you for his not waking up on time. I guess you two have been aruging a lot then."
He paused and looked back at Caleten and waved. "Hello," he said. This was getting odd but he guess this happened at parties. He just had been to shy to ever notice it. Kahlin sigh and cuddled Sonia to calm the unhappy hissing flit.

"You wouldn't be able to get me to Task and Tabesk to let them gnaw on me, silly green," K'rel teased, and turned his back on T'bell to confer with the man behind the wine table. After a couple of minutes, a mark was passed over and a wineskin was granted in it's place. K'rel looped the skin over one shoulder, winked at T'bell, then began edging his way through the crowd towards the door. "Give other people a chance at the wine, T'bell."

"Task and Tabesk are mobile, and could carry you." He pointed out, then his face fell as K'rel made his way out. "You're the one draining the wine!" He pouted at his glass. "Leaving already?"

"I don't like crowds," he called back, earning himself a few frowns for the remark. He glanced around, the pointed towards a clear area near one corner before heading that way himself. Once he didn't have people pressing against him from all sides, he allowed himself a couple of deep breaths and leaned back against the wall tow ait for T'bell.

"Oh!" He relaxed and snatched a few more bites to eat before following the brownrider. He was more comfortable now in the throng of people and easily slipped between them. So many bodies gave him the feeling of anonymity that most Harpers use to their advatage. Tonight he had no use for everyone elses information, but the snippets he caught he stored simply out of habit. Within a few moments he'd followed K'rel to the less-populated area.
"I thought you were leaving-leaving. You know," He gestured to the wine skin, "Having found a more suitable companion."

"Would you prefer that I did?" He fixed an expression of disappointment on his face, ducking his head to 'drown his sorrows' in his wine glass. "I'm half tempted to, with so many people around. But we could always go outside. There's sure to be something going on there, if fewer people. Unless you're enjoying the crowd." Perhaps his wine was beginning to catch up with him.

"No!" T'bell 'humphed' and leaned against the wall next to him. "I don't mind the crowd so much now, but I'm willing to move if you want." He tilted his head, eyes scanning over the gathered people. Somewhere above Flute was attempting to gather her own flock, no doubt. "Why don't you like people? You know my reasons for being nervous."
