Reira laughed. "True," she replied to his comment about coming from a long line of party animals. From what she knew of his family, they all loved a good party.
Thinking for a moment, she replied, "I've never been surfing at night either... It sounds fun!" She laughed again when he made a remark about enjoying the view. She understood what he was saying, and was quite flattered, especially since she loved getting the limelight. "The view will always be around to enjoy," she joked, moving so that she was close enough to steal a quick kiss.

Tiki Jim smiled as he kissed her back. He then leanded up and walked back to the beach. "Okay, now we just need surf boards. I'll be right back."
Tiki Jim flew off to the bar and found two sitting by the palm trees. He then flew back over. Though, it wasn't easy with the two board load. "Here we go."

"Alright," Reira replied, remaining seated. It had never bothered her before, but it was suddenly painfully obvious that she had nothing to lean against. Her little spot seemed less comfortable now. She watched the stars and thought about things while Tiki Jim was gone, and she jumped up when she saw him returning.
"Thank you!" she responded cheerfully, relieving him of one of the surf boards. She was all evergy again, and was in the water in an instant. "C'mon!" she called back with a laugh. She hadn't been surfing in a while, and couldn't wait to be back up on the board.

Tiki JIm smiled and pulled his board to the water. He got on and swam it out to the middle of the lake. It was a bit colder then he remembered, but it was night. "Alright hang ten, Reira!" He winked as he stood and began to surf.
It was nice at night. The sky and stars were beautiful and he had great company.

Reira pulled herself onto the board and carefully stood. The air felt chillier than she remembered it being last time she surfed, but it wasn't so cold that it made her want to stop. She let the waves carry her board as she surfed. Her mind wondered, and she just couldn't get over how great everything was going, and how happy she was. Granted, she was always happy, but she was ecstatic tonight.
Looking over to Tiki Jim, she blushed a bit and smiled. Of course, being distracted, she began to loose her balance. Instead of taking the fall into the water, she managed to sit back down on the board for a bit. She tried to think of something to say, but she ended up absently watching Tiki Jim surf instead.

Tiki JIm turned to look at her. "That was pretty good. I would have just fell! Awesome." he chuckled and waved to her. This was not a good idea, however. He lost balance and fell into the water. Quick thinking put a bubble around him so that he wouldn't feel the cold of the water. Tiki Jim got back on his board without a drop of water.

Reira's eyes grew wide with surprise as Tiki Jim lost his balance. When she saw him use his power and return to his board without a drop of water, she couldn't resist giving his a hard time. "Cheater!" she called out jokingly. She'd managed to at least keep her hair dry, which was an achievement since it could get heavy and took forever to dry, but her legs we dangling into the cold water and it just didn't seem fair. She was close enough, she figured, that she could fix it with a few good splashes, so she leaned forward on her board to reach her arm into the water and fling it up, pushing a spray of water toward Tiki Jim. She couldn't keep herself from laughing.

Tiki Jim chuckled. "Hey, what else is this power good for if not to cheat." He winked at her when she began kicking water at him. "Ah!!!" He shouted as he was now wet. "Sneaky!" Tiki Jim then moved the board over to her and tried splashing as well. "If it's war you want!"

Reira was quite sure she'd never been called 'sneaky' before, especially considering her rather angelic nature. She laughed, not particularly offended. One couldn't be perfect all the time, after all.
"It's not war!" she replied, almost defensively. She hated the idea of that. Either way, now that Tiki Jim was closer, he was a much easier target for her. She used her hand to fling water back again, while turning her face away from the oncoming spray. She couldn't hold in a giggling shriek as the cold water made contact. The beads of water clung to her, but she wasn't anywhere close to soaked. She childishly stuck out her tongue, possibly not knowing how much she was picking a fight. "Is that the best you got?" she teased, still laughing.

Tiki Jim just laughted harder. He was getting so wet and he could tell so was she. He kicked back. "Yeah, that is about it." He winked then used his wings and tail as best he could. Which just caused him to slip and fall into the water. He looked over to her and smiled.

If it was at all possible, Reira laughed even harder when Tiki Jim fell into the water. Of course, she took the opportunity to stop splashing and start gloating. Which might have been more effective if her hair wasn't a half-soaked mess. "I wi-in," she taunted, regardless. She was leaning toward him from her seat on the board and returned the wink that he'd seemed to have trademarked.

"Really?" Tiki Jim took this moment to pull her in. However, he put a bubble around them so neither could get wet. "Odd in here, huh?" He asked as he smiled at her.

Naturally, Reira shrieked as she was pulled into the water. However, she never really felt the splash of hitting the water's surface. When she opened her eyes, she blushed a bit, embarrassed that she'd screamed when she wasn't even in danger of getting soaked.
Then it seemed to strike her, that she was underwater. She clung a little tighter to Tiki Jim as she looked around. "Yeah..." She responded carefully. Was this what Naiads saw when they were swimming in the lake?

Tiki Jim held her back and smiled. "We better get wet. I'm really not sure how much air is in this thing when I make it." He nodded and then floated them up before popping. Water then rushed around them.

When the bubble popped and water filled in around her, Reira shivered a bit. It was cool, due to both the season and the time of day, she presumed. Now that she was completely soaked, hair included, she felt a bit like a wet cat. "It's freezing!" her small voice came, accompanied by a laugh. "Maybe we ought to go inside."
