"Ah, I didn't mean it that way!" She stood up shaking her head blushing slightly, she often forgot he was blind, so him bringing it up was sort of a shock. Hearing his question she tilted her head too "we can count them...."

Reeve laughed for a moment. "I know you didn't, I was just playing a game." He smiled and shook his head. "I fear that it would take too long for us to count them all... and far too boring."

She smiled and shrugged "Oh well....then I suppose it'll remain a mystery....." sudenly she looked around, "oh...ohh what time is it???" she sounded a bit worried.

"I umm... don't know. I think that there is a clock on the CD player..." Reeve said as he tilted his head. "Why do you ask?"

She laughed as she had forgotten he couldn't see the clock. She checked and saw it was getting very very late.
"Well.... I kind of... umm...." she sighed "well I was kind of looking for a place to sleep...and since this sidetracked me I still need to go find one or else....Kari is sleeping in a tree again." She smiled weakly, she had found her self snoozing in the tree tops lately and would be rather happy to avoid that. It would be dark soon and finding another cave or even an old shack would be harder when she felt like sleeping rather then wandering.

Reeve tilted his head a bit. "Why, sleeping in a tree is no fun. I'll tell you what... You may sleep here for the night." He stood up and made his way to the hallway. "I have more rooms than I need, all fitted with everything a person heard could desire..." He turned to her and smiled, "And I will not take no for an answer."

She shook her head " No no no!! I couldn't it would be so rude of me!" she followed him as he walked, running to catch up her hands clutched to her chest.
"I'll....I'll sleep outside!! I'd feel so horrible if I imposed on you!." her reaction was almost as if someone had told her they would give her their life's savings.

Reeve tilted his head a bit as he walked, a small smile placed upon his face. "What did I tell you? I will not take no for an answer..." He neared the first room to his right and stopped, opening the door. The room was large, with a king sized bed in the center of the room, pushed against the back wall. There was a TV and small CD player in the room, along with a dresser for clothes and such. To the wall on the left there was a large bathroom, equipped with a bath and shower, and al the other necessities. "I assure you, sleeping here will be far more pleasent than sleeping outside."

She looked around in awe. It was so cozy looking it reminded her of her old room back at home. At times like this she almost wished that she hadn't left. However, that was besides the point. She had no clue how he might have obtained all these things and brought them in a cave to make a home. It was amazing. She smiled at him giving him a small hug.
"Thank you.....You've been very kind to me." she felt bad for staying but she was also grateful for his hospitality.

"It is not a problem. What kind of person would I be if I simply threw you out into the cold?" He smiled to her and took a step back. "If you need me, I'll be in the room at the very end of the hall." Reeve bowed to her a bit and set off.

She waved and called the thanks before throwing herself on the bed with a little happy squeal. She snuggled into the pillows giggleing quietly. She smiled to herself glancing around the room as she lay on her back gazing up at the ceiling.

Reeve got to the back of the hallway and opened the door. he had come to the music room, and intended to play the piano. Moving his hands in front of him he found the piano bench and sat down, then ran his hands along they keys. Finding the middle key, he positioned his hands and began to play a beautiful yet sad tune.

Sitting in her room she kneeled on her bed. Closeing her eyes she allowed her wings to become visable again, letting out a small sigh of relief. It took a lot of energy to keep them hidden. First a faint outline appeared, soon the feathers appeared, and later the whole silvery wings could be seen. She opened her eyes blinking, she heard music. It was quiet and sad but it was there.
Piano....
It was one of her favorite instraments. Her mother had been talented on the grand piano they had at home. Her favorite songs being by Chopin. Forgetting about her wings she poked her head out of the door and wandered towards the music, quietly sneaking along the hallway, afraid to make a sound.

Reeve continued to play, the song cradually becoming darker. There was an immence amount of passion in his playing, and he seemed to drift off to another world. His fingers moved as if they knew exactly what to do, and did it without the slightest bit of effort.

She smiled as she watched, her eyes glazing over as she listened to the music. The melody captured her and gently lulled her mind to a peaceful state eventhough the tune was dark and passionate. She listened intently as she leaned against the door frame.
