Vocals mainly because guitars set a mood, bass give it side melody, drums give it a beat and the speed for the song. Vocals are the thing that many people are used to to. You figur out the lyrics to a song cause you like it. Would you sing a song with nothing but a voice. Guitars give it a great feeling. The Bass keeps your mind hooked on the song. The drums give it that crash and beat that you enjoy, and the vocals are the thing that many mainly love. It's a way to remember a song, either with the vocals, guitar, bass,or drums. The song you enjoy will stay in your head.

I understand that guitar and drums are important and more well heard and appreciated. I truly do. But I don't understand why the bass is under-appreciated. They have just as much role in music as the guitar and drums. The bass holds the music to the ground and helps define the notes. This is just my opinion. I am in no way suggesting that the bass is more important than guitar, it isn't. But, it is just as important.

We remember every single great rock song for its incredible screeching electric guitar solos. The drums give it the beat that we can head bang to. So, drums and guitars people! Is it not that obvious? sweatdrop
