I've really balanced my guitar useage. I seem to do alot of my song writing on my acoustic, and start considering an full backline arrangement if it suits the song.

electric, cause it looks cooler, sounds cooler and is more diverse, and if your feelin acousticy you can switch to a clean channel.

When I feel one with nature and want to do flow-y classical ballads of complex structure, I play acoustic. When I feel like crap and I want to hit something, I play electric to skill-less punk bands. Those are my favorite. heart

I have only had one acoustic in my house ever... and it was borrowed. Ever since I got my Squire Bullet 3 1/2 years ago, I have played electric the majority of the time. I only play an acoustic if someone has one and lets me borrow it real quick or if I am staying at a house with only an acoustic, than I just pick it up and play it.
I like electric more because it is heavier so I know it is there plus it is thinner. I like the acoustic for slower songs when you play out the chord or note more, but I have gotten into palm muting and tehcniques like that so I like that more now.

I'm an electric woman. I just don't really like the whole acoustic-ness. I prefer loud screeches, heavy riffs, the soundtrack to hell, faces melting, THE STUFF YOU HEAR WHEN YOU BEAT THE s**t OUT OF SOMEONE WITH A METAL FOLDING CHAIR! Yeah...
