I'm just hoping that the whole ramble doesn't get terribly convoluted in people's minds. So in summary (where things are referred to in general):
*Warning: Bluntness and misogyny abound.*
1) A large portion of males like sex 2) Many do not think they're getting enough 3) Anyone who they percieve have more sex than them are "sluts" 4) Gay* men, being male, are predisposed to the idea of liking sex 5) Since women have been urged by society to place relationships before sex, men who like men, can focus on more on sex 6) Heterosexual men, still unsatisfied with having to work through a relationship to obtain sexual interaction may become jealous of gay men, thus condemning them as "sluts" 7) Therefore, gay* men are straight men without the women.
*Bisexuals get to pick and choose from both worlds?
Note: These do not reflect JoVo or my own personal views. These are expanded upon in JoVo's previous post in a more detailed, educated, and subtle way.

I guess that makes us have the "princess-fantasy."
Gah! Frocks, corsets, and pink scare me. I was jaded with drag when I was seven... I guess that would make me more, "vanilla, chance-meeting" type idea. If it's vanilla I am, then vanilla, I shall be!

One can be swept up while wearing pants, you know. wink You forgot to mention that the differences between men and women are societal. Men and women like sex during love. Women tend to expect sex during love because they tend to be raised believing that is the only way sex should be. Men are raised to believe that sex and love are separate, so while they prefer sex during love, they are willing to go without it far more easily than women. Otherwise, your summary is good. It was a complex post. To shorten it, while it makes it easier to understand, (EDIT) hurts (/EDIT) the meaning. sad

Me, I'm a total guy. I love sex, and I much prefer to have sex with someone I love. I am, however, wholly willing to go without love for an occassional go-at-it.
EDIT: I still retain my princess-fantasy, though. I'm just discouraged by my belief that I'll have to be the knight doing the sweeping.

Just make sure not to sweep unintentionally. I have a couple guys who I went out with, and because I'm such a romantic sort of person, they consider me to have swept( no small feat, considering how short I am) them. Now they want me, but I have no beyond-friends interest in them. It's always tough. Do you know that 3 of my exes proposed to me when marriage was legalized here? ...hello. There's a reason they're exes! Oy.

It was just a random thought process of princess=teen romance movies=fluff. How I love pants, they don't trip me as often and therefore I won't be lying there in wait for that prince. I don't think a lot of people would mind being swept off their feet, it's easier than having to work towards something you're proud of. Leeching is a terrible thing.
The summary was a blanket concept of status quo, therefore past societal ideas are suppose to be assumed. Times are changing, and women are just as likely to separate the two things, although they're still stuck in the web of patriarchy and continue to astigmatized for something that men would do just as freely.

JoVo Which, of course, was mentioned in the long post before it was condensed into a mysogynistic outline of sequential stereotypes. Meanie. sad Hmm, I've never been indirectly called a mysogynist before, but there's a first time for everything. Cliff Notes was on to something, something rotten. They were generalizations as stated, which I personally feel are just one step above stereotypes, though just as harmful. I wasn't attacking or ridiculing you, though it appears it might have seemed that way. I'll see what I can do to rectify this... Feel my wrath! *glomp*

They were generalizations as stated, which I personally feel are just one step above stereotypes, though just as harmful. I wasn't attacking or ridiculing you, though it appears it might have seemed that way. I felt neither attacked nor ridiculed. I was, again, being facetious. I also didn't call you a mysogynist. I only noted that my post, when summarized, appeared very mysogynistic and painted women as blindly hopeful airheads waiting for some fairy prince who will never come, which is completely contrary to what I actually believe: that women and men have no innate psychological differences other than those that have been created by society. Still... Keithing I'll see what I can do to rectify this... Feel my wrath! *glomp* Yay! whee

Taking things a bit personally is one of my many faults, along with being apologetic. sweatdrop
That reminds me, I haven't submitted outrageous stereotypes my whole time here.
Gay and bisexual men are all in it for the a**l sex.
