"No," Ewan whispered. "It's too close." He heard another loud thump and swallowed hard. "We--" Suddenly, a white polar bear emerged from the bushes. "RUN!" Ewan turned back to Claire to scream.
He raced through the jungle pushing back leaves and branches, but he was very dizzy and dehidrated. Suddenly, he felt a branch hit his head and he fell to the floor, his vision blurring. He felt something sharp dig into his ankle and groaned loudly. It was some sort of animal trap and it hurt like hell. Ewan wondered who would be setting out animal traps in this jungle. "Claire!" he screamed, his voice rising a few pitches. "CLAIRE! HELP!"
((It's just after new years and I am so dizzy! I have no idea why--all I drank was Sprite! lol. HAPPY 2007!))

"Where are you?" Claire said and shorted the you as she felt her baby kicking which turned into a sharp pain. She couldn't stop now, she put her hands on her stomach and as much as it hurt she managed to run. "I--i can't!" Claire shouted and shut her eyes.
((I have a headache and i dont know why lol!))

Ewan tried not to scream as the trap dug further into his ankle. He squeezed his eyes tight and a tear emerged. "Claire!" he let out all his screams in that word. "Claire, I'm over here! Hurry up!"
He tried taking deep breaths to escape the pain, but he still felt it searing deeper into his skin. Ewan kept seeing his wife calling him "overly dramatic" in his head as he bit his lip and two more tears poured out.

Des typed in the code quickly. He couldn't help but have a smile on his face. This may be the last time he would ever have to touch that bloody keyboard. He started out the door and couldn't help but to break into a run.

Claire knew she had to save him, the clear pain in his voice was real and she couldn't stop. She stumbled a few more steps now the pain in her stomach worse then ever her vision was starting to blur but she was going to fight this. "I can't see you!"

((Ewan and I are matching! I have these cuts on my ankle from ice skating. CURSES!))
"Claire!" he sobbed. "I'm here, just hurry up!" He tried to sit up and free himself, but that hit on the head had made him dizzier than ever. He just tried to lay on the jungle floor and take deep breaths. He closed his eyes tight. "Claire!"

Claire had a moment of extreme panic, she finally saw Ewan lying on the ground. She gasped at the sight. "Wha.. what do you want me to do?" Claire asked quickly, she didn't want to touch the trap at all.

"Open it!" Ewan gave her a frustrated look. He needed her to hurry up.

Desmond raced through the woods. He was beginning to feel tired, so he slowed down by giving himself and chance to walk a bit.

After a few moments, Kate could see the people. She saw what way she had to go to get to human civilization. She attempted to climb down. It was really hard. When she was a few feet off the ground, she just decided to jump.
As soon as her feet landed on the ground, she heard screaming. The screaming was closer this time. She followed the screams and came across a man and a women that appeared pregnant. The man was caught in something that looked like an animal trap. The girl appeared to be doing nothing.
"Do you guys need help?"

"I think im having contractions and Ewan is stuck! I tried but couldn't... i.. im so happy your here." Claire said relieved someone else was there.

"Hurry the bloody hell up, will you?" Ewan screamed at the both of them. He was both frustrated that he couldn't get himself out and trying to deal with the pain. He hadn't meant to yell at Claire and Kate, but he just couldn't help it. Another tear fell from his eye.
((Poor Ewan! *sob, sob*))

"Okay. Okay! I'll do it." Claire said closing her eyes and opened them and ran over to him and knelt down. She touched the trap carefully and looked away and with force sucessfully opened it.

Ewan, let out a long relieved breath. He stared wide-eyed at his ankle for a few seconds and then looked over at Claire. "Thanks. You okay?" He didn't give her a chance to respond before he gave her a quick hug.
Suddenly he began to feel very dizzy in the head. Maybe it was the image of his cut-up ankle or maybe it was just all the stress and trauma. He let Claire out of his embrace and brought his hand to his head.

Claire shook her head. "Im okay. Im okay." She shut her eyes tight secretly wincing to herself trying to hide the pain.
"Whoa. Are you okay?" Claire asked trying to look into his eyes.

"Yeah, yeah," Ewan's smile rang false. He layed back down on in the grass and felt the corners of his vision fading. "Eh..." he had trouble find the words. "Maybe you should find a doctor... a doctor," he nodded his head.
((So dramatic, that Ewan... *sigh*))

Claire looked around the jungle quickly unaware of her surroundings, unaware of how far away the beach was from here. "Maybe we should go back." Claire suggested.
