"Hmm, we didn't lose any time really... we ought to get some sleep, but take one of these pills, it should help you heal." He threw a pill and waterskin to Sam.

As Sam was sleeping Kakashi and Genno began to practice for tonights big show. During break Kakashi approached Genno saying "I hope Sam will be alright for tonights act..what did you give her anyways?"

Kakashi quickly ran over to Genno and asked if he was okay. Kakashi, relizing that Genno has been trainig too hard, decided to take a break as well and tend to him.

Kakashi thought Genno had the right idea and he decided to take a nap as well.

About two hours later Genno woke refreshed. He then took stock and proceeded to the arena to determine how much time was left. He then saw that It was actually his turn to perform.

"Damn... luhluhluh," he stated, sending Kakashi the information that he ought to wake Sam and head over here.

First in the arena, Genno fired three fireballs into the air in rapid succession. He then picks up a boulder and covers it ice, then sends it into the air, where it connects with the fireballs to create snow, which drifted down onto the captivated audience. With the last of his strength, he raises poles and boulders of all sizes, all with weak points, for Kakashi to break during his act. A glass tank full of water is also brought in for Sam.

Genno, sweating, hopes that his friends will make it in time.

Kakashi had heard Sam's faint call and threw on a pair of pants and ran out of the wagon with them still around his ankles sweatdrop . As he ran he threw on his performing vest and ran onto the stage with a grand fireworks entrance. He began firing kunai at the falling boulders. Each kunai hit with perfect timing showering the arena with brightly colored rocks from the sparks. He then turned over to Sam to see her doing her act.

Looking closely at the next performer from his spot on a medical cot, he realized that Benkai's face was swollen and bleeding, though makeup had been liberally applied to mask the injuries.

He drank a murky substance from a flask he'd concealed at his waist, and was on his feet in an instant, going onto the stage to watch the proceedings.

Benkai walked onto the floor. On the other side of the arena came a large man with a cattle prod, which he was using to urge a beastly looking wolf forward. The man retreated, and the wolf pounced on Benkai. The dragonman fell back and launched the wolf over his head with a well placed kick. He did a backwards roll and punched the creature while it was in the air. The beast landed on it's feet and charged again, this time making a zig-zag pattern. Benkai anticipated the wolf's movements and lashed out again with his fists, catching the animal off guard and sedning it crashing to the ground. It made a swipe, leaving bloody marks on Benkai's chest. The furious dragonman pulled out a knife he had stashed and finished the animal, or so he thought. Genno saw the beast stir and rose a small stalagmite to impale the creature.

"That was a lycanthrope...?" Genno muttered. "If such beast exists still... there may be!" Genno leaves in mid sentence to talk to the circus keeper.

Missing the tightrope act, Genno comes back, angry. "A fake... the wolf was just a performer in a costume filled with chicken blood. But poor Benkai got the business end having to fight against something with real claws."
