The orange glow of the sun setting came over town like a blanket to cover the small town preparing for night. The air was getting cool with the absence of the sun, slight shivers rolled up and down K spin, to an onlooker it may have looked like she was have small seizures. Ourania had caught her attention because of the urgency in her voice, she looked her way to see what the matter was. .

Quinn's grin faded as the little moomba stole her candy, "Damn little rat monster!" she cursed. "Come back here with my lolly!" She chased after the creature and as a result, was directly behind Ourania when she popped back out from under the bushes.
"Check what outt? My lolly?" Quinn asked sullenly from under Oura, where she had fallen when Oura had bumped into her popping out of the bushes. She was pouting, but that little demon had stolen her precious candy!

"It looks like a slip of paper... with writing." Ourania frowned when she realized how general that sounded, but figured that the others would catch on to its importance. "Basape, sweet, come here and bring that piece of paper with you." she instructed, holding out her hand and beckoning for the moomba.
Basape stuck out his oddly colored tongue, still sticky with candy.
"Typical." Ourania mumbled, straightening and looking at Fiore. "Would you call him, dear?"
Fiore nodded, peering down into the bushes as well. "Basape, come."
The moomba mumbled, coming out slowly until the tiny Elysian ordered. "With the paper, if you please." At which he grabbed the slip and threw it at her sulkingly.
Ourania picked it up, gripping Basape in one hand while the other fumbled to open the folded paper. Fiore floated demurely up to the summoner's shoulder so that she could view the writing as well.

Poking Oura, Quinn mumbled, "Mind getting off of me?" Still sullen about her lolly, Quinn continued to pout, but shot semi-interested glances at the paper the moogle had retireved.
((We should probably wait til more people are here to respond. Also, I'm gonna go to bed! XD))

Kana looked at the creature run away with Quinn's candy and shook her head lightly. But then Nia-chan's voice pearked up over the others further away, and it caught her attention all of a sudden. She raised her head a little, looking over in the direction K-dogg was walking and where Quinn and Nia were standing. She sighed once and pushed herself off the wall. Her hands still stuffed into her pockets, she walked over, trying to see what was going on. Though she did not let any expression grow on her face.
Appearing behind Quinn, she looked over at the paper that was holding Nia. She noticed this one had her summon with her. She observed it for a moment before eyeing(sp) the strange peace of paper. "I say open it." suddenly said Kana. "What's life if we don't take any risks, hmm..?!" she mumbled, but loud enough to make sure everyone around would hear her.

Odilen finished writing the introduction to the story, occasionally glancing up at people and mouthing words of physical description before writing them down. Eventually, she let the scroll roll closed again with a snap, and looked up - only to find the subjects of her story gathered a few feet away.
"What, what? Some new development?" She quickly stood up and trotted over, sandals flopping against her feet. "Hey, he's small, small like BoCo..." she added, pointing at the moomba. "Where did you get him...?"
As if summoned, the tiny chocobo raised his head and let out a small, questioning "kweh?"

Ourania moved over, taking a cue from Basape and sticking her tongue out at Quinn before turning to Odilen. "Well, Basa found this letter under the brush after he stole Quinn-chan's candy; basically what K was saying. Oh, and he's Fiore's familar, they sort of came as a set... BoCo?"
The summoner looked between K and Kana, before glancing down at the primary white of the paper, biting her lip nervously; it looked so innocent and unassuming to her. "Well, I think there's a good chance that it's for us, probably from Guardian." Although it seemed beneath the spectre's standards to use mail...
((Yeah, we need to wait around for Vashy. Plus I think Epine's gone so we couldn't progress much anyway. See you later everyone, great rp so far! heart ))

Drifting amongst his own thoughts, Vash nonetheless spotted the letter as soon as the small moomba presented it, albeit reluctantly, to its caretaker. aha, the plot thickens... he thought to himself, although he didn't yet move from his spot, content to wait until the letter had been opened, at which time he'd find out what information was contained therein.
((sorry guys--my uncle/gramma get on during the day, so even after I get home from work, I have a tough time getting on until mid-evening! xD;; heart ))

//Next time it would be advisable not to open anything until you have the agreement of everyone, it's hard for a person to pick up on your actions when another poster is giving a different message.
[prompt]
One might have expected such a peculiar letter to have some magical properties but alas it did not, rather it was just a slip of paper denoting a small amount of information to the selected reader...or at least it should have but then again these people weren't supposed to be it's receivers now where they?
"Professor,
I have sent you several notes of the most amiable nature and my patience wears thin, as of late you have failed to return the required sources to me and this is not acceptable. Should you insist on continuing such nonsense then I shall have no other choice than to act."
The note ended without a return address or the identity of the sender but the seal upon the front of the envelope appeared to originate from one of the noble families within the heart of Durem, which one however remained to be seen.

((K-Dogg, Sosi isn't here - I'm using my character Odilen for all CoG roleplay. ^^; So don't go looking for her, she won't show up. wink ))
"What does it say, what does it say?" Odilen stood on her tiptoes and tried to peer at the letter in Ourania's hands, without being too obvious about it. "A mysterious missive... ooh, that had good alliteration. 'Mysterious missive.' I'll have to remember that one."

((Sorry guys. I was just fumbling to open the letter, but when everyone started with different responses I figured it was best to assume I hadn't opened it completely yet. I was waiting for everyone to reply before I did open it all the way... but oh well. I'll try to be more clear next time.))
Ourania's brow furrowed and she sighed, slipping the letter back into the envelope. "Nothing to do with us..." she murmured, wondering if the intended person, this professor, had received the letter. It was certainly an odd place to put something. "Should we put it back in case the person who was supposed to find it hasn't yet? Or should I put it in a more obvious place...?"
What had it meant by "required sources"? She was nearly certain that it didn't apply to her, but an odd, niggling feeling was sparking in the back of her brain and it was too hard to ignore. "Or perhaps we should hand deliver it. Does anyone know of any professors in the area? Or even which house this seal comes from?"

Odilen sidled around and peered at the envelope. "I know that sigil," she said, suddenly, pointing at the seal. "I've seen it on one of the big fancy buildings in Durem... somewhere. But there are so many buildings there marked with heraldry of one sort or another. Half of them bought their titles and arms, feh..." Odilen's tone made it obvious what she thought of THAT.
