If a closet emo is someone who pretends there not depressed, by saying that you are in this forum aren't you defeating the purpose of this closet?

Closet Emo is hiding the fact that you're emo behind smiles, and clothes, and things like that. People can still know. Just people who just see you and don't really know you wouldn't really be able to tell.
And I guess I could consider myself that. I don't look it but a few of my friends know how unhappy I can get real easily. Honestly, I don't kow if I am or not.

Yay, what she said. And some of us act like that towards people at school who see us everyday. They don't understand and they expect everyone to be happy like them, so for you not to hurt them or so they won't start annoying you, you put on a show. Something like that, I guess?

You kinds of people are the reason that 'emo' kids are hated and stereotyped so much.
It doesn't stand for emotional, it stands for emotive hardcore.
MCR, AFI, P!ATD, FOB, Taking back sunday, none of those bands are emo.
At all.

sometimes I am cause I have certain friend's who wont accept me being emo and they are really good friend's well most of the time anyway.

I act like I'm happy 24/7 it's actually quite sickning.

Yes yes, I am a closet emo, I act all big and tough and wear clothes that fit but I long to have pants too tight, messy hair and t-shirts that restrict my breathing whilst wearing wrist bands to cover up my scars.... its so true, I really love MCR and Gerard Way is so hot, I just hate them to be different. sob its all comming out now.
....Had you going for a minute didn't I? blaugh
