Sky watched as Nimbus took off, her flakes twitching as the echoes of another lion's roar traveled through the winds of the open air. She smiled, noticing Nimbus' anticipation to have someone waiting at his border for him. She watched him go without a word, turning her attention back to her son who offered the food to her and Winter first. "Oh well aren't you just the gentleman" She smiled and padded closer to the carcass, bending her head down to take a few small bites. It tasted amazing.
Winter watched as her mother started to eat, the drool collecting in her jaws as she took in the fresh kill's scent. Before anyone had the chance to object, she dug in at her own little spot in the carcass, making quite the hole as he meat disappeared into her stomach.

Talos looked around for his father, but couldn't see him so started to eat as well. He jerked off a fair chunk of meat gnawing on the juicey meat. His tail and ankle-wings flickered happily, enjoying the meal.
Nimbus turned and headed back towards the den. "I'm sure they've already dug into it." He laughed. "They're always so hungry when they first wake up. Sometimes you think they'll eat you if you don't get them food!" He laughed, only joking.

Aquos headed back with Nimbus; Stryker was swipping at Nimbus's flask if they got to close. Aquos laughed at Nimbus's comment. "Well, I'm guess I'm still lucky that Stryker isn't like that yet. He still wants to play when he gets up."

Sky chewed the meat slowly, letting its taste melt within her mouth before she swallowed it. She loved breakfast, and Talos sure did a good job getting it. It was a perfectly healthy zebra too, just a broken leg, so the taste was magnificent. She closed her eyes as she ate, her flakes twitching back and forth as she kept an ear out for danger or other lions.
Winter was too wrapped up in the wonderful scent of zebra to notice anything else around her. She had chosen on of the front shoulders as her spot to chow down on. She swished her tail feather back and forth happily, she was a growing lioness and needed her meat so she could hunt for the pack with her mother soon, it was getting to be that time.

Nimbus chuckled. "Just wait until he's a teen and his teenage hunger kicks in..."
When they got back to the den he laughed, seeing his family already in the meat. He knew it would happen. "Go ahead Aquos, you and Stryker eat first." He smiled. "If there's not enough I can go out hunting for myself later." He then turned to Sky. "Sky, Aquos and his son are joining our pride. He though a smaller pride would be better for Stryker."

Aquos bowed to Nimbus. "Thank you." he said as his son jumped off of his back and headed straight for the kill, trying to rip the skin off to no avail. Aquos padded over to his boy and helped him get into the meat before sitting behind him. He'd wait for his son to finsh before he started to eat. Stryker happily dove into the kill, his teal fur soon turned red, Aquos laughing at him.

Sky's ears twitched at the sound of her name. She swallowed what meat she had in her mouth, licked her lips of the blood, and finally looked up toward her mate with a cocked head, processing his words. "OH! This is great!" She left the kill and started to head towards the other male, which she had met briefly during other occasions, watching as the cub toddled past her and to the food. She chuckled to herself and looked to Aquos with one of her famous, heavenly smiles. "Welcome to Heaven's Hopes Aquos! You and your son, if there is anything I can do for you please let me know." She swished her nightly patterned tail feathers back and forth, the little stars twinkling in the sunlight that surrounded them.

Nimbus nodded his head once. "I ought to go patrol the boarders now though, The hyena's will be waking soon." He grinned and winked, turning to hop leap off the small ledge. "Coming, Talos?" He laughed, looking over his shoulder.
Talos lifted his head from the kill, swiping his tongue over his lips to clean the blood. "Duh!" He grinned and leaped over the kill, bounding over to his father. "Which boorder first?"
---Time Skip (Again)---
Nimbus yawned and blinked his eyes open, rumbling at the bright sun. He slowly lifted himself up and streatched out his front half with a roary yawn. It'd been a while since Aquos had joined the pride, and in that time Winter had grown to be a teen. Soon Talos and Winter would be adults, and finding themselves mates... The Cloud King shuddered at the thought of some male touching his daughter.
Talos grunted when he heard his father's yawn and turned over. His tail twitched and soon he was back to sleep, snoring softly. He'd been out late practicing his warrior skills and daydreaming about being an adult. It couldn't be too far off now...

In another cavern near the royals, Stryker was already up and about trying to get his dad up. The cub had been up for some time now and was full of energy. "Come on dad get uppp!!!!" the cub yelled ashe latched onto his father's ear and tugged, growling playfully.
Aquos groaned. Where was Sienna when he needed her? Right..She was to come to the pride soon...Aquos opened an eye lazilyand looked to his boy. "Five more mintues Stry...Daddy is tired." the sleepy lion said, getting an annoyed moan in retured. This boy was going to be the death of him...
How things had changed since joinning. For one, Stryker had opened up to the others and now it was almost imposible to get him to be quiet. Then there was his mate...Sienna...Aquos had finaly told her how he felt..Thanks to Stryker. Finally there was Mizu and Shui, his daughters. Theylived with their mother, Aoure. How odd was it, when asked what she wanted for helping him raise Stryker, to ask for a family? More so, Sienna was fine with it..And here he was, listening to his own son tell him if that he didn't get up, they'd miss Sienna and she would get lost and she'd never find her way here...Aquos woundered how Rose Petal was doing at times like these.

Sienna approached the border of Heaven's Hopes, her head to the ground as she finally reached her destination exhausted. The fact of the matter was that she was now pregnent, and had decided that now was the time to leave before Santos found out the news and kept her under lock and key figuratively. She wanted to be with Aquos and Styker more than anything, and after a quick discussion with her parents, where she secretly told them the news that they were about to become grandparents once more, she heeded her mother's advice to leave ASAP. She wasn't exactly showing yet, but she didn't think it'd be long before that happened. So, after saying good-bye to Santos and Adia, and a quick nuzzle for her two new nephews and sister-in-law (Yukio was out on patrol at the time), she'd left to begin her new life.
To say she was scared wasn't even coming close to how she felt at that moment as she lifted her head and looked to the sky. Even terrified wouldn't quite describe how she felt as she looked into the face of her future. She was about to have cubs of her own...begin her new life with a family....would she measure up? Was she ready to do this, truly? She stayed that way for a long time, contemplating that simple, yet very complicated question before her. Was she ready. A thought occured to her that she could just leave...but then her mother's voice reminded her, when Sienna had voiced her concern to her in private, that one never knew what they were truly capable of till they were faced with the inevitable and had no other choice. Then her mother had asked her in return if this was what she truly wanted, and Sienna's acknowledgement that it was so was instantaneous. "Then follow your heart...you are ready..." was her mother's reply.
With that memory in mind, she began to smile and took a few deep breaths to calm herself. This IS what she wanted...and longed for for so long. It was time. With that firmly set in her mind, she let out a long loud roar to the heavens, one that Aquos and Stryker wouldn't fail to recognize, and Nimbus knew as well.

Stryker's ears shot up at the sound of the roar. He knew that roar! "MOMMA SIENNA IS HERE!!! COME ON DAD GET UP NOW!!!!" the teal ran around his father excitedly.
Aquos smiled at his son. "Alright alright...I'm up...Come on, let's go meet Sienna..." the adult said as he got up, his son ran around his legs. The sound of his mate made him smile..His love...She was finally to be with him. Aquos bent down to let his son get apon his back as they stepped outside their den, roaring to let Sienna know they were coming for her.

Sienna's ears perked when she heard a roar in the distance, and her heart lept in her chest. Yes, this is what she wanted more than anything in the world...no question about it at all. She wondered, though...how would Aquos take the news of her being pregnant? She hoped he wouldn't put her under lock and key...she'd watched Adia and Davey put through it, and she knew how bored they got just waiting around. Then again...she doubted she'd be able to put it past him to do that as well, and she had to admit, she'd love all the attention he'd give her in the meantime...

Nimbus perked his ears and in his tired haze it took him a moment to decifer who it belonged to? "Sienna?" He muttered, turning to look at his family. "..No, don't worry, I'll get it." He murmured with a smuirk, turning towards the mouth of his family's den. He plodded out into the open light and fresh air, catching a glimpse of Aquos. "Best get going." He laughed, sprinting for the boarder.

Sky was up at the same moment Nimbus was, the sound of a female roar ringing within her sensitive ears. She was just about to get up and go to the mouth of the den to see if she could seek out the commotion, but the quick glance she made at her mate locked and she had found her answer. With that and a long yawn, Sky nuzzled back down to catch a few more Z's. She she was Queen, but it would only be about 5 more minutes right?
Winter groaned at the distance noise, however, still sleeping. She tossed herself on her opposite side and pawed at the ground lightly before falling into a deep sleep once again. She was a teenager now and getting more and more lazy as the days went by.

Aquos was the first to find Sienna and his heart sorrowed. She was so beautiful. God he missed her. He bolted over to her, Stryker clinging to his mane. He purred before nuzzling her lovingly and licking her maw. "Sienna, my love, how are you? Was your travels ok? I wasn't expecting you so early but I am so happy to see you again." he said to her, cub like.
"EWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" the teal cub let his dislike for seeing affection be known to all.
