Fungus? "Hardly, Amey; just pondering a few things, I suppose you might say. Tends to happen when you've had a serious conversation, even to Soquilis as erratic as me." And that was another true comment; he'd be lying if he said that there conversation had gotten him thinking, thinking about a lot of things that he usually ignored. It would be a long trip home tonight, that it would....
However, this walk had wound up being less time than he might have thought otherwise; all too soon the two were standing on the edge of the settlement. "Well, it looks like this is where I'll be leaving you, Amey; give your mother my love...once she's conscious again. And you take care of yourself." Smiling, he leaned over to nuzzle his neice, a fond smile indicating just how much he'd enjoyed their talk. "But until I see you next...try not to do anything silly!"

Amoena smiled fondly at her uncle before tugging on his mane. "Don't worry uncle I won't and if I do I can handle it." She flicked her tail and turned to enter just as the first two-leggers began to stir. She made her way down a narrow path that lead to Mushyn's teepee glancing her shoulder to look at her Uncle as the sun peered over the horizan. She grinned and reared back waving with her front legs as she had seen humans do before dropping to enter the teepee.
Her mother was right where she had been left and Bandit was just waking. Before the raccoon could come to his sences Amoena picked him up by the neck and chucked him out of the small home. She had a lot to think about and even more work to do. "Mom you cause problems sometimes..."
