Compared to my friends I'm pretty pale, but not pale enough!

I get light make up and stay out of the sun on hot days. I hate being hot and tanned/sunburned to it works out fine.

Back in the 1500s I think it was, women used to bath in 'bleach' (I can't remember what it actually was back then).

I'm naturally quite tan, and being in an outdoors summer sport doesnt really help that. xd But, even though I think that porcline skin is gorgeous, I've learned to love my skin. whee

Well, I wear a jacket year 'round and have been since I was a little kid.Now my skin is way lighter than my mother's.
If you don't get hot easy, wear a jacket year 'round for a year or so, and you'll have pale skin. That's what happened to me,though I didn't intend to get pale skin by wearing my jacket. >_>

If you're looking for a fast way,then....I'm no help to you.Sorry.

I'm Irish so my skin's naturally pale. But I didn't always like it. But now I'm glad I never tanned with all the stuff you hear about skin cancer anymore.

I'm irish too and I love being pale but even if I were to try to tan (which I've done before le gasp) I can't...I just turn crispy red.

I believe that women used to bathe in asses' milk in order to help pale and moisturize the skin.

But the beauties of the past did some pretty wierd things to help them achieve pallor... living off of a diet of water and vinegar, using aresnic-based or mercury-based makeup, rubbing nightengale droppings on the skin, and even taking small doses of aresnic.

I've actually heard that the nightengale dropping treatment works pretty well and was used by geishas and kabuki dancers in ages past, though I wouldn't reccomend trying any of the treatments other than bathing in milk.

try baby powder over some nice moisturizer, it makes the powder stick and helps you look like a porceline doll.

I can only wish to be pale. I'm white and black which I hate because I'd rather be completely white. The best thing I can do is to try to stay light as possible. crying

I'm Irish, German and Italian so my skin will switch between pale and beige according to the temperature of the room.

Which is awkward because when I'm beige, you can still see my overload of freckles.

I want pale skin, but... I'm black, so that doesn't really work out... sweatdrop

Something to brighten your day, people with darker skin like yours can get some really nice looks with gold makeup (if you wear it) that white people can't do so well. And some purple plum shades as well I think...

And you probably can't get skin ailments caused by the sunlight as easily as white people can. I'm not a doctor though.

I want to know how could i make my skin pale... talk2hand User Image xp

it's simple. avoid sunlight at all costs...thats what i do really. the only places sun ever touches is my hands and my face, except in the summer, since it gets too hot to wear long sleeves i just cover up in sunscreen. i use SPF 50 or higher, and i put it on thickly. burning_eyes sun is baaad...it hurts me physically and makes me itch like mad.

It's really hard for me to achieve pale skin since I'm naturally brown.

As far as parasol styles go, there are many styles, but here are images of a few...

Parasols like this can often be found in Asian gift stores. They're usually paper, but with a bit of searching you may be able to snag a fabric one. I have a black one, similar to teh one posted above. They're fairly cheap as well, and will usually run around $6-$25 depending on the size and quality of the peice.

This type of parasol is fairly common, and many can double as umbrellas. I have one similar to the one shown. I bought mine at Target for around $10.

you can avoid the sun, or freez yourself in an cold room, which might make u sick. makeup works, but can also ruin skin with breakouts, and that caused the skin to turn a little red, and too much pale skin can be unhealthy. u dont want to look dead or anything, though there are ppl that do. I dont see a deal with have pale skin. it dosnt really mean anything, ur changing urself for something u want to be. there are lots of ppl out ther with different color skin.
