Brief meeting. XBear The clinic seemed to be empty except for a sprawled figure on one of the couches, pink and yellow hair sticking up messily from the position Slush was laying in. Though, as comfortable as he looked, he wasn't sleeping. Not with Tourmaline perched on his stomach at least. The baby was attempting her darndest to crawl under Slush's shirt and make a cave, and squealing haughtily every time she either got stuck or didn't fit all the way. Her stuffed shark lay forgotten on the floor, where she had kicked it off once she realized both her and him wouldn't fit. Alatariel Rakamash Surion pulled the door of teh clinic open and entered, he took in teh scents int eh room and his blue eyes looked towards the only persons he could see. "Hello" he greeted the male and hte infant he saw and walked towards the couch XBear Blinking profusely, Slush turned his head and waved with the hand not serving as a baby bumper at the moment. "Howdy." Tourmaline simply shoved her head out of her mother's shirt with a grunt and eyed the boy at the door. Her first thought: he wasn't as pretty as her because he didn't have a tail. "Bleeee!" She commented matter of factly in an earpiercing shriek. Slush had become far too used to her noises to be surprised at this one. Alatariel Rakamash Surion's hands went to his ears and he winced "Wow little one has a lot to say" he commented waiting for hte shreik to die down before uncovering his ears. He walked closer his tail moving lazily behind him regardless how curious this little one made him considering where she was XBear "You've noticed too huh?" Slush piped up cheerfully as he sat up, tugging the squirming ball of Skullmonkey out from under his shirt before swivelling to face the child. No more cave!? Tourma looked indignant and immediately reached out for her fallen shark. "Vwwee grrd!" she demanded, bapping Slush's arm with her little tail. All of this caused her Pegasus seed, which Slush had turned into a necklace, to bouce around on her neck. Alatariel Rakamash "Yeah, cute little one though" he looked at the infant "Girl?" he asked stooping and picking up the toy being reached for and holding it out to the infant "I'm Surion by the way... Surion Rakamash" XBear Tourmaline immediately snatched HER shark away from this boy. Heavens forbid that he STEAL it, or worse dirty it and then return it. Nevermind that she had recently dumped it on the floor. "Thanks! And yes, a girl." Slush was too busy beaming to think of much else to say for a while, "Oh! I'm Slush, and this little screecher is Tourmaline." As if she knew he were talking about her, the infant beamed as she gummed on the dorsal fin of Sharkie. Sseureoji Sin Approaching the clinic, Sin looked around without a word, his hands resting pensively within the confines of his pockets. The chilled golden eyes read over the sign before chuckling. Stepping towards the door, he pulled both hands from his pockets, one reaching immediately for the door, the other brushing through the choppy, dark brown hair to attempt to push some of the longer strands which decided to join his bangs before his face. He stopped a moment, looking himself over to make sure that there wasn't anything out of place or badly kept before stepping inside of the clinic. When seeing the other two, he blinked a moment and nodded, his expression breaking a moment for a small hint of a smile. "Hello." Alatariel Rakamash "It's nice to meet you Slush, and you little Tourmaline" he said with a smile and sat down on a chair near the couch, he glanced up hearing another voice "Hi" XBear Slush flicked his tail and peered past Surion at the man who just entered the clinic, "Heeeey there!" he said cheekily, apparently still in a good mood as he added a elaborate wave to the lot as well. Nodding over to Surion, Slush sat Tourma down on his lap and attempted to adjust the shark so that it wasn't jammed uncomfortably into his lap. Unfortunately, cooperation really isn't a word to describe the little Skullmonkey, and she gave a sharp yell and yanked the stuffed fish back to where she wanted it. Her 'mother' simply gritted his teeth and took a few deep breaths before moving and setting her down on the couch. That shark's tail looked much safer... over there. Yeah. "I'm Slush!" he pipped up to the stranger, looking for something else to think about. Alatariel Rakamash Surion watched the little girl, he didn't believe he had the infant skills Nani did but he thought kids were cute just the same. "I'm Surion" he told the newcomer he'd never met before Sseureoji Sin Stepping to the desk, he looked at the other adult, then the children, a more genuine smile crossing his lips when he watched them. Shaking his head once, he slid the sunglasses from his face, exposing the scar over his nose that looked like it was made from a warning swipe of a large cat. Sliding them into his inside breast pocket, Sin spoke to the parent quietly. "I'm rather new around here." Nodding his head again, he placed a hand to his chest and tipped a bit, introducting himself to those around. "My name is Sin." XBear When Sin introduced himself, Slush finally noticed the clock behind the desk. Ohshitohshit! He had told Isto he'd be home about an hour ago! And if they didn't get Tourmaline down to sleep then they couldn't have sex and he'd be so sad. All of this rushed through his mind in one jumbled motion and he stumbled up onto his feet sharply, eyes wide and frantic. "Ah ah! I've got to go! Haven't had it in months..." With a crazed look on his face he pointed to the two of them as he scooped the very confused Tourmaline up off the couch. "NEVER put yourself into a situation where you have to schedule sex. SEX SHOULD HAPPEN OFTEN!" He screeched, panting somewhat. No wonder Touma was weird. And she was not one to be out done in screeching! No siree, and as soon as Slush finished his decree, the baby began yelling and making the bestest high pitched noises that she could. Not that it mattered, for Slush had already made his way out of the door, muttering something about being on top for once this time.

Heave and clank. Slush wasn't tired in the least, and he loved Isto for letting him sleep in. Or whoever hadn't woken him up that morning.
There hadn't been any screeching from ANY of the children in the household, and Slush found that extremely odd and scary. Tourmaline could be unconscious! What if she had gone outside and pulled an Isto? She seemed to be mostly metal...
Pushing out of the chair he was casually lounging in, Slush quickly pulled on a pair of pants over his boxers, fussing irritably with his tail before simply giving up and throwing on one of Isto's nearby shirts. They were about the same size anyways.
Tail still struggling, the Skullmonkey left their room and made a beeline for Tourma's, poking his head in and immediately heading downstairs when he saw she wasn't there.
"Tourmaline!" He called out hopefully, maybe he'd disturb her and she'd start screaming and then he'd be able to locate her. Like on those infomercials.
"She's with me!" Came his mother's voice from one of the back rooms, and Slush sighed in relief before jogging back towards her voice.
"You better not be smoking!" He called in as threatening of a way as he could.
X just rolled her eyes, "Yes Slush, I'm teaching my granddaughter how to smoke, care to hold her down, she's coughing too much."
Slush burst into the room seconds later, chest heaving and eyes narrowed at his mother, who was grinning up at him. "Oh, good..."
"Did you honestly think? Oh nevermind." X returned her attention to the toddler on the floor surrounded by a small ring of toys.
Tourmaline was watching her father intently while chewing on the corner of a children's book, "Goodnight Moon" by the looks of it.
The Skullmonkey simply blinked down at her. She was bigger! "You grew..." he said cautiously before exploding into a squeal of glee, "Our baby is growing up so big and PRETTY!" Slush promptly began to bounce, or possibly dance, X couldn't tell, in place where he was, rapidly cooing over Tourma's growth.
Startled by the squeal coming from someone bigger than her, the toddler tumbled backwards with a eek when she was caught by X right before she hit the ground.
What was this?! Eyes wide, she began to wave her arms around, mimicking Slush and she too began to squeal.
X didn't seem to pleased to now have her granddaughter flailing and swinging in her arms and immediately offered the pile of flailing limbs to Slush, who had just stopped his own 'dancing' with Tourma's squeal. "Take your child." She grunted informally.
Slush rolled his eyes, blowing the pink hair out of his face before stepping over to X and reaching down to take Tourma out of X's arms. He was surprised to see how much heavier she had gotten with the growth, and was about to marvel about it when suddenly X took her hands off the toddler.
"Aackk!" He grunted over Tourma's continued squeals as he stumbled backwards and into the wall.
His child was suddenly a WHOLE lot heavier.
If only X had a camera, but she was too busy rolling around with laughter at her adopted son.
The pink haired Skullmonkey glared at X, "What'd you do to her!?" This had to be her fault.
X snorted and somehow managed to regain some sort of composure, "Think Slush... Isto's arm..." Naught seconds later did she fall back into peals of laughter.
"Isto? What are you... OH!" His gaze turned to Tourma as he gained some sort of balance. Damn she was heavy.
Tourmaline had stopped squealing when X had started laughing, and was trying to turn her body around so she could watch her grandmother make lots of noise.
Slush was having none of that, "Come on you fancy cannonball, time to find Daddy."
"'aaady?" Tourma asked in excitement, not so much a word, but Slush could definately understand and grinned wide while he heaved the both of them towards the door, making sure to give X a dirty look before heading out in search of Isto. "Yep! Daddy. We have to show him how big you're getting... And heavy" Slush added the last two words woefully, imagining eating disorders galore if she ever stepped on a scale.
He made a mental note to destroy all those in existance in the house before she got that old.

Mum's already spoiling Tourmaline to the highest degree, not that this displeases me or anything, but I guess I should at least document WHAT's being douted upon our little girl.
Apparently Nao received some gifts as well, but I doubt they are as cool. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
First she got her a bunch of stuff for Halloween. Maybe she's hoping to influence her at such a young age... Hmm... Much keep an eye on the both of them from now on.
Anyways, here are the things.
Some Halloween bags for trick or treating when she's OLDER. Though she did seem fond of the pink and black one... I approve of this one, it's apparently a prayer... thingie majigger. Either way, X said it's named 'Sir Melon' and the wish is for 'love, friendship, and protection'. I can agree with all of the above. DRAGONS?! WHAT THE HELL IS X SMOKING IN THOSE CIGARETTES OF HERS?! These, no matter how FESTIVE they are, will stay somewhere... far away. They may torch her! I don't want a crispy daughter! The answer is NO! Times a million! Gods my mother's going to be the end of me.
And now the non Halloween stuff, which is much more... Tame than the other gifts.
It's so cute! I don't know what it IS, but I deem it safe for Tourma. I'll get her to name it when she talks... Another new plushie I father-approve, it's cute and fluffy. I wonder if there's an alterior motive behind it... Maybe brainwashing material. We shall see... She said this was Sanura's old toy, but Sanura... Well we've lost hope with her... Holy s**t! Where'd she find these?! They're my old toys from when I was still an obligate small and furry SM. She better not damage them... I think I'd cry.
So inventorying is over. Though I highly doubt X is done spoiling Tourmaline, by any means.

A look to the left. Coast clear.
A glance to the right. Nobody.
The toddler cracked a toothy grin before wobbling off as fast as she could towards the open closet, where she quietly stole a broom from before toddling back to the front door.
Once again she looked over her shoulders, just in case. There was nobody to witness her.
Grabbing hold of the broom part of the broom, Tourma lifted it up straight so that the end of the handle came in contact of the lock they had up there too keep the little ones inside. Not her though, she had formulated a plan and it was going to work!
Tongue stuck out in concentration, the toddler, through trial and error, managed to finally knock the lock out and unlock the door. A muffled victory squeak left her before she dropped the broom and reached up to toggle the door knob.
There was a click, and soon the door was creaking open.
Tourma's eyes peered out of the newly revealed outdoors. Victory was hers! The sun was warm on her face and she ignored the chilly breeze that blew. Within seconds she was bounding outside, and after nearly tumbling down the stairs, she went peeling out into the grass.

Slush didn't notice Tourmaline leaving, as she was supposed to be down for a nap, but he did hear the broom fall, brushing it off as Dari doing something stupid again. Not his problem.
Instead, he kept on reading the book in his hands, until the kitchen's call was way too much. Rustling down the back stairs, book in hands, the SM searched around in the fridge until he found what he was looking for, Nathan's apple pie.
Bless Nathan for coming back. Slush put his book down on the counter and after getting a fork, began to eat straight from the pie pan.

The outside was SO cool! No wonder the big people didn't want the little ones out here, then they'd never be able to get them back inside. Psh, she wasn't going to go back inside. Not with all this cool stuff out here!
Tourma gazed out at the giant expanse of land that made up X's property, bicolored eyes wide. This was amazing! She wanted to see it all!
But she had to pick a place to explore first.
Staring over to the gardens, the toddler decided to got there first, and THEN decide. Immediately, she began walking unsteadily towards the gardens, every so often stopping to regain her balance.

Suddenly Slush looked up, feeling a too cold breeze that caused him to automatically stop what he was doing out of habit. Isto and cold never really mixed, so he always tried to keep the house and his husband warm whenever possible. Even though Isto wasn't there, Slush made his way to the front door, stopping when he noticed the broom there too.
Hadn't the door been locked?

She shivered, the sun was setting and it was getting a bit colder, and sure enough, Tourmaline soon had a harder time moving her body.
Furrowing her brow in irritation and frustration, she managed to continue going for a bit longer before with a cry of surprise, her legs gave out from under her and she fell to the ground, unable to move.
She whimpered softly when she tried to lift her hand and couldn't. All she could feel was cold and it made her sick and woozy.
A warmth began to seep into her chest, however whatever it was making the heat was under her and she couldn't see. Still, the warmth calmed her and made her feel much better.

Carefully standing the broom upright, Slush grabbed a coat from the closet and slipped outside, shutting the door behind him. His eyes scanned the front yard and saw nothing out of the ordinary.
Even though he didn't see anything, something told him things weren't right, and he continued to walk around the house, eyes scanning for something out of the ordinary.

The heat grew, but everything soon became hazy for the toddler. A bright light came and Tourmaline refocused almost immediately, as if something had yanked her back from a nice, deep sleep. The warmth at her chest was gone just as suddenly, and she whimpered until she caught sight of the animal in front of her.
A pegasus foal stood in front of her, the light around it fading as it stretched it's green and majenta wings, colors seemingly reflected from the Skullmonkey.
Tourmaline was dazed, and comforted as the black animal nuzzled her face comfortingly before kneeling down next to her, sharing his body heat with her.
Despite the sudden awaking, Tourmaline soon slipped into darkness.

The light caught his attention as well, and Slush started after it at a brisk walk, which turned into a jog, then full out run when he saw who was sprawled next to the creature that caused the light. Nevermind the pegasus, Slush could only see his daughter through the panic running through him.
The moment he reached her, the Skullmonkey fell to his knees and struggled to pull Tourma into his arms. If he had thought her heavy earlier, she was ten times as heavy when she was not helping. Eventually, he hauled her into his arms, wrapped her in his jacket, and ran as best as he could back to the house.
She was just like Isto.

Tourma didn't respond, but the pegasus, sensing and recognizing this man's intentions and relation to this young one, stood up and followed the pair at a light trot.
