His hands moved to his temples, massaging them in circles as he squinted his eyes. The throbbing had picked up at that particular moment and it made him wince and groan.
"Like I said before, I haven't been able to sleep much and it's dragging me ragged through the dirt. It's those alarms.. and the lights automatically switchign on and off on timers.. How long did it take you to get used to the that?" he had no reason to believe that any other duplex would be different from his own. He took of his blue shades to show the komodo just how bloodshot his eyes were. "The lights go off in the evening and they're not off for very long.. a couple hours at most, because it's still dark outside when they come on.."
He cracked his next to the side with an audible pop and a groan of momentary relief. "I just lie in bed for a while.. my head pulses with these constant daily headaches and I eventally pass out from exhaustion.. but by that point, I haven't had enough time to even enter a deep sleep before I'm woken up.. and if I try to sleep during the day, like I did when I arrived, the alarms sounded and got louder.. and sometimes the lights even flash if I try to ignore it.."

"Huh? I have no idea what you mean... that never happened to me" now she simply sounded confused, and nothing more, but she was moving closer to him as if to examine him

At her confused response, he was equally confused. He closed his right eye and squinted through the right. The corner of his lip was upturned in agitation. "Wait.. your duplex was set up differently? That doesn't make much sense, does it?" That was an understatement of the obvious. "I thought they were all alike." His head dipped as his body slowly tilted forward in his sleep deprived state. His eyes fluttered as they closed. He fell forward at about a forty-five degree angle, breathing deeply through his nose. Jordan had fallen asleep sitting up, wet and cold.

Joli frowns and nudges at him "Uhm hey... You should get some sleep... You can use my old duplex" she didn't know if he heard her but she nudged him more times

With each nudge, he responded with a nasal breath that sounded like a grunt, his arm twitched, and his eyes fluttered more. After a few more nudges, Jordan grunt-snorted and jerked upright, startled. Immediately, his hands flung to his face, rubbing his palms over his eyes.
"Nnnnnghh..... did I fall asleep...?" he said with a low, tired mutter. He swayed back and forth as he blinked a few times and nodded. "I could really use it.. thank you... where can I find it...?"
Jordan reached out and hugged Joliette as best he could. " Thank you so much.. I really appreciate it.." He then pulled himself away so that he could climb to his feet, awkwardly pushing off on his hands and knees. He looked around and realized that he was still lost. "Uhm... if it's not too much trouble.. could you show me the way to the village..? I'm kinda lost.."

"It's number 27... one of hte ones with the weird handles... well rope and wood handles so I can open the door" she smiles "I dont use it... so you can stay there for now... it's empty of my stuff" she watches him with concern, was the git tormenting him too?

Jordan looked like a smiling drunk, loopy out of his mind. He looks to her in wonderment, "I hope we'll get to talk again.. you're really nice, Joliette.." starting to walk in any random direction he thought was the right way. He was almost rambling like a drunk too. "I'm glad I'll have friends to help me through this.."

Joliette watched him for a moment then shook her head and trudsged after him grabbing the cuff of his pants with her teeth and stopped him moving "This way" she says a moment later ffter letting go of him and trudging steadily towards the village

"Oh. Thanks!" he laughs. "I'm still trying to figure out how to get places without winding up lost." he scratched the back of his head and followed her. She'd get him there in no time and he could already anticipate himself sleeping all night long.

"I got used to the jungle after living in it for so long.." She went quiet after that and led him intot he village, she did however avoid any populated areas until they reached her duplex.

"Oh wow.." was all he could muster for a remark on living in the wilderness for so long. He felt better that she knew exactly where she was going, especially as they arrived at her empty duplex.
Jordan smiled from ear-to-ear, manipulating the custom door handles and pushes the door open. Quiet. Dark. Bed. That was all that he needed.
"Thank you, Joliette. I hope you won't get in trouble for this.." he nodded gently as he slipped into the darkness. He was pulled towards the bed like a magnet and fell into the comfortable softness on his back,fading into unconsciousness about thirty seconds later.

"What more could he do to me" she whispers quietly after seeing him collapse on the bed and she pulls the door shut with the custom handle and heads home herself
