Jade, your so cute ^^ my prom dress had spaghetti straps and that was something new for me. I harly exposea any of my arms as is and that day two years ago I bore al lol. Well at first I had elbow high black gloves and shawl thing that I wraped around my arms and covered up. But by the time I got to the dance people who didnt even like me were complimenting me on my dress and hair **Not to mention I got to go with the guy everyone wanted to go with lol, thank goodness for good friends.** I really felt like the bell at the ball that night. I forgot all about my flabby wings and just had a great time. And despite what I tought was going to be an insecurity I let it all out and didnt care ^^

well I orginally wanted something with belled sleeves but let me say this:

Affordable wedding gowns for larger size girls are very hard to find. Especially if you're picky (Ie: I love embroidery but not beading). Plus, the problem that ran into is even the more expensive ones fit very weird. David's bridal had the largest selection and best prices... and I used to think that I wouldn't like a strapless, but it's what had the most style.

I have a habit of decorating parts of my body that I don't like.

Lemme explain.

I have NEVER liked my nose. Ever. Never ever ever...well, you get the idea, heh xp

So what do I do? I got my nostril pierced. Now I like looking at my nose because I think the piercing sets it off.

Same thing with my arms...not a fan of the fluffy looking arms I have, so I went and got a tattoo a couple years ago on my right arm and I am going to be getting my memorial tattoo on my left arm...that way I don't mind showing my arms off.

I'm not saying that this is a wise approach to things or that others should do as I do, but I did something that makes me proud about the parts that I normally am not proud of sweatdrop

I know how you feel. I hate the summer, for that means that swim suits and tank tops come around. I have felt so uncomfortable showing my arms that I wear hoodies with my tank tops, even if it's 98 degree weather. Buy weights or if you have weights use them. That's what I'm doing..it's take a long time, but I'm seeing some difference in my arms now.
