Sorry this is late in comming, but CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!
This will be a very interesting time in your life. Also, remember every pregnancy is different and not all the books are right. Don't panic if you're reading a book and your body hasn't done that. Saltines are life savers when it comes to nausea, so are those little peppermint disks.

Though Chicken in a Biscuits are flavored, but they helped as well, so it's good tasting and useful too.

I didn't however.

That leads to a very amusing mental image. Thank you. I so needed the giggle. I had cravings something awful while pregnant. I had cravings for odd inedible things, which has a name that I've forgotten, but I never did eat any of them. I wanted onion rings, Chicken in a Biscuits, and vanilla milkshakes all the time. If I could have lived off of those, I would have.

Cravings for things like Dirt, Chalk, plastic, etc. is called Pica.
Not only pregnant women get it but it most often shows itself during pregnancy with all the changes in hormones and stuff.

I had to stay away from them to keep from chewing on the tips.

I was never around clay, so I wouldn't know if I would have eaten it. I used to eat Play-Doh as a kid. Didn't have any cravings for that though.

I get more wierd cravings when I'm not pregnant... Shaun starts to worry about me if I go a few days without a craving...
While I was pregnant with both of my boys, I developed a sudden liking/obsession for Mexican food. I normally can't stomach spicy foods.
