Discovery and Realization
There was usually only one reaction a boy like Sylvest would have to suddenly doubling in height and becoming more articulate.
"...Cool!" he exclaimed, after examining his arms and legs and stretching out all of his limbs. The kid still felt all tingly from the transformation. Standing up, the wonder failed to cease as he saw that he was up a lot higher than he was before. "Wow!" He was just tall enough to peer over his tank now, too. All of this was just too awesome.
"Sylvest, are you okay?" Mouse called, her footsteps following her voice and getting closer to the octopus lad's room. "I heard you saying somethi--"
As she entered Sylvest's room (face still puffy from her allergy) and noticed the child, her balance failed from the shock and she had to scramble against the wall in order not to fall on her face. "Holy sh-... I... you're..."
"Bigger!" Sylvest replied, completing Mouse's attempt at a sentence. "Neat, huh?"
The teen nodded slowly. "Yeah... very neat..." She left the wall and shook her head a bit in order to gain back her composure. "Wow, Sylvest-" For the first time in a while, he didn't 'correct' her- "I was expecting something, but this... well, I'm proud of you." There was a bit of a lopsided grin on her face, not sure if that was the right thing to say.
The Mighty Kraken leaned back against his tank, face and arms flushed with color. "Aw, Mom..."
Mouse looked at the tank behind her son, and back at him- realization hit her like a very large sack of potato-shaped bricks. "Uh-oh."
"Huh?"
"We're, uhh... gonna need a bigger tank."

With some assistance from specialists who work at the aquarium we visited once, I've managed to draw up plans for Sylvest's prospective new tank. Reconstruction on the first floor is as follows: One of the most significant changes (ha, ha) is that my furniture and personal belongings would be moved to Sylvest's old room. Then my private bathroom would have to be demolished to make way for the tank room that would take up a very large portion of my back yard. The entrance room would probably hold much of Sylvest's nonpersonal belongings as well as several towels... The actual tank room would have three large picture windows around it for whatever reason. As for the tank itself, it would have a shallow end that you enter through that slopes off at a 60-degree angle into the deep end. Near the corner of the room is a staircase that leads to the lower level: Right next to the stairs there would be a bathroom- made as small as possible in order to make space for an area for lounging and the storage of maintainence supplies. One could look into the tank and converse with Sylvest through a specialized intercom system. Underneath the shallow end of the tank would be a "den" of sorts- the walls around it opaque so he can get some privacy once in a while. As an afternote, this would of course be filled with all sorts of things to get the real feel of an aquatic habitat- preventions could be made against anything other than Sylvest entering the den. All in all, this entire project would cost... roughly 100,000 gold. So it's obviously going to be nigh impossible for me to get this done. I'm still going to try, though. ((If you would like to leave a "donation", just post so in RP format in the thread. Just don't make it too unrealistic for the budget of your character... Also, Mouse always feels heavy obligation towards anyone who might assist her, so anonymous donations are always welcome. XD))

Mouse Pachinkorelli "Sylvest... aren't you cold at all?" a concerned, slightly annoyed teenager asked. " Nope!" a child with octopus arms responded, a sweater tied around his waist by the arms. To be perfectly honest, he was a little cold... but he wouldn't soon admit it. " And that's Mighty Kraken to you!" He grinned up at Mouse, recieving the exasperated sigh he knew he would hear. "Fine... But don't start complaining when the chill makes you sluggish, like it always does..." And it was warm for January- only about 45 degrees. Which was still chilly, but thankfully not overbearing. The Mighty Kraken walked ahead of Mouse, idly swinging his wooden sword around (where he got it was a mystery). Soon enough, they hit the door to the Eden Project HQ, in hopes that Sylvest could make friends with someone his age. Upon entering and being greeted by the central heating system, Sylvest immediately grabbed two of the six water bottles Mouse had carried with her. He plopped down on the floor, downing one bottle and pouring half of the other on himself- paying no heed that he was getting the carpet wet. Noyama Karoko had long ago arrived. It was always a surprise to her to find this place empty, but a welcomed one. With not just her own, but her aunts family now residing in her household, there was constantly chaos among other things. None of which were quiet.
So, there were times Karoko would leave home and venture to the nice, silent HQ. Well, silent except for the sounds she made.
Creeek. The bolt tightened loudly. Karoko lifted the wrench, wiping her forehead with the back of the hand that was holding it. One wouldn't think fixing a simple alarm clock would be such hard work.
Her ears twitched suddenly, blue eyes darting toward the door way. Someone was coming?
Though growing had made her much less shy, she still tended to be nervous about strangers. Thus, she didn't even look up at them, merely staring down at the gears in the clock and silently hoping they wouldn't notice her. Mouse Pachinkorelli As the two entered the building, something hit both of their ears... an unidentifiable squeaking noise. It didn't exactly help that the only light coming inside was the sunset from a nearby window. " Hey, Mom... didja hear that?" Sylvest whispered. "Yeah, I did," Mouse replied in a normal tone, not feeling particularly like adding to the mood. " Do you think... it could be a ghost?" the octopus lad wondered, voice lowered as huskily as someone his age could manage. The teen couldn't help but break into an amused grin at this. "Oh... I don't think any ghosts would be haunting a building as peaceful as this," she said reassuringly, ruffling her charge's hair. And I got calls from Dulcea and Lena saying that theor kids are both okay, so that rules that out as well... Mouse shook her head vigorously and palmed her forehead to get her senses straight. "Okay, lightswitch..." Her hands brushed the wall until they came across and flipped the miniature lever. " Ow!" Sylvest quipped as he squinted at the sudden brightness. Then he noticed something- well, interesting. It was, probably to the chagrin of a certain batgirl, Karoko. " Oh, hey! I'm Mighty Kraken!" he called a little loudly, loping up to the girl with a typical boyish interest. " Wow... you have wings! Can you fly with those?" he asked, octopus arms swaying in excitement and turning the same burnt brown that Karoko's flying implements were. Mouse sighed and walked up to Karoko, though not so close as to cause possible discomfort. "Oh, hi... I think I saw you at the beach some time ago. Sorry if we're bothering you. I'm Mouse, and this overly curious runt here is Sylvest-" " Mom!" "-though he prefers to be referred to as the Mighty Kraken." Noyama With the sudden light, the Eden nearly jumped five feet in the air. To be fair, she had literally done something similar to that once before and ended up clinging to the ceiling. This time she didn't go quite as high.
Luckily, she also managed to avoid dropping her tool or the clock. She really wasn't up to fixing it again. Then, suddenly, someone was talking to her. And talking quick (for her).
"Oh, h-hello," she offered, immediatly afterwards answering, "Y-Yes." When Mouse spoke, she shifted her gaze to her, nodding slowly. "Nice to meet you, Ms.Mouse." Curiously she glanced Sylvest over, nodding in confirmation. "Oh, yes, I saw you both at the beach that once." Mouse Pachinkorelli "Ah... you don't need to be formal. Just call me Mouse," Mouse replied, face tinging the slightest at being addressed as such. "But I should be grateful that kids here are bing taught to be polite... by the way, what was your name again? I'm never good at remembering 'em." A slight chuckle and a sheepish grin played across her features for a couple of seconds. " That's so cool! I wish I could fly... well, I can swim really good, which is like flying in wate-" Sylvest's excited grin became a bit muted as she noticed Karoko's shyness. " Are you okay?" He glanced around to see what might be bothering her, seeming to have completely forgotten how shy he used to be himself. Then he noticed the alarm clock she was fixing. " Hey... cool!" He reached out to touch it with one of his octopus arms, but stopped himself when he remembered how angry Mouse got when he tampered with her stuff. Noyama "Alright," Karoko agreed. Honestly, she knew she'd up slipping and adding the 'Ms.' at least one more time. It was a wonder how she came to be so polite having Noharu as role model, but when Mouse mentioned it she blushed at little. "Um, it's Karoko, ma'am."
It faded with Sylvest's question, and she nodded quickly to assure him. "Yes, I'm alright. You look like you'd be able to swim very well." Just as soon as she'd finished that he seemed to have taken an interest in the alarm clock.
She was a bit amazed anyone could control so many arms (or whatever they were). "It's an alarm clock," she explained, holding it out to him as indication it was alright to touch it. If it broke that easily she hadn't fixed it right. Mouse Pachinkorelli "Karoko, eh? That's pretty fitting..." Mouse mused, displaying her honest opinion. "It's nice to meet you- er, see you again- heh, that was quite a while ago. You've done a bit of growing... well, more growing than my kid has." " Aw, mom..." The teen grinned and ruffled Sylvest's hair affectionately. "Hey, I never said I'm holding it against you. You're still the ultimate predator, even if you're a bit on the short side." This caused Sylvest to grin proudly in response. He took the alarm clock in his top right arm, rolling it back and forth. " Oh, this is one of those old kinds of alarm clocks! Mouse's clock is digital." He was pretty interested in the clock- underneath the pirate exterior, he had a true thirst for knowledge. " Were you fixing it? You're a really good fixer if you were!" Noyama "Thank you." Karoko didn't understand what she meant by 'fitting', but stayed polite as she had before. Perhaps it was just in her nature.
The girl smiled brightly at the exchange between Mouse and her son. It was by far a different relationship than she had with Noharu. Earlier she'd asked if she was pretty, just to see what she said. Karoko honestly didn't care how she looked so long as she could work well and fix things.
Noharu had told her her forehead was kind of big and her ears weren't particularly attractive and she was kind of pale, all while never once glancing up from the newspaper. She'd added her hair was nice, though, or would be if she didn't keep it up like that all the time.
Truthfully, she idolized her mothers honesty (or perhaps a better word was bluntness?). "Yes," she answered to the other Eden. "I like to, um, fix things..." Such a "dorky" hobby, her cousin had told her. "Some of my cousins are very destructive so things tend to break." Mouse Pachinkorelli "Polite, articulate, and capable of repairs! I should ask your guardian if we can trade kids," Mouse joked. Sylvest's eyes widened in fear for a split second, but then he caught on that his mom was joking... thank goodness. " That's neat," he said, deciding to reply to Karoko instead of Mouse. " I like to... well... swim, I guess. But it's really hard to swim in my tank without squishing my fish!" An annoyed glare from Mouse told him to please not complain any further about his tank that was admittedly too small for him now. " And... cooking's a little fun, I guess. But not as cool as making things work!" The octopus lad also silently marveled at the prospect of having cousins in the house. Noyama Karoko's face turned bright red, and perhaps out of nervousness she laughed. "T-thank you." It wasn't that she had a stutter so much as it was a bad habbit to do when uneasy. And, she knew very well she shouldn't be. These two had been nothing but friendly.
"You can cook?" Karoko repeated, equally amazed by this as he was by her ability to fix things. "I can't cook at all. Or swim. I'd drown for sure. And if I cooked again I'd probably burn the house down." Not that she had a reason to cook. Karoko's food source ranged from blueberries to...things with blueberries in them. Mouse Pachinkorelli " Can he cook? Karoko, you're talking to someone who makes a sport out of chopping onions," Mouse replied. "Really saves me a lot of time when I want to have a proper meal, that's for sure..." " I can chop a whole onion in less than two minutes!" the octopus lad proclaimed, holding up two fingers to confirm. "Ah, don't give up on swimming just yet. You could probably put those wings of yours to an advantage..." Mouse reassured and pondered. That would be something interesting. "And burning the house down seems a little farfetched. But maybe you could try a sort of meal preparation that doesn't require a stove or oven? I'm sure you could find something you like if you looked..." " When I get my new tank, you can come over and I'll teach you to swim and cook!" Sylvest offered. Noyama Karoko nodded politely. She did a lot of that. When she thought about it burning the house down didn't seem logical. On the other hand, her aunts family only lived with them because one of her cousins had burned down their house. It could've run in the family, right?
"That's very impressive," she commented. Onions were so gross. Anyone who could get near them was worthy of praise, let alone chop one up in such a short time. Ick.
Water freaked her out. Mostly, because one of her cousins who Noharu claimed was "mean as hell" was afraid of it, and it took a lot to scare her! "Alright," Karoko agreed slowly. "You must have a very big house." Mouse Pachinkorelli Another nervous chuckle. "Big house? In my fantasies, possibly. But in actuality, our home is rather small, as houses go... I think I prefer a cozy place such as mine, though. No constant traipsing up and down stairs to find things..." Sylvest nodded in agreement. " I.. can get tired out of water," he admitted quietly, " so it's good that we don't have a huge house. I think Mom was looking for houses in Gambino once, but I like it here!" He looked at the clock he was still holding. " Hey, does this have the right time on it...?" The octopus lad turned to a clock on the wall to check. " Uh-oh.. we better go, Mom! The store's about to close, and I really need tuna for lunch tomorrow!" Mouse looked up at the clock as well. "Ah... you're right. Sorry to cut this meeting short, Karoko, but we better get going. It was nice running into you again, though." Sylvest handed back the alarm clock, and with an enthusastic goodbye, he and Mouse were out the door. Noyama "I see," Karoko said intently with an understanding sort of nod. She got tired flying, so who was she to say anything about someone getting tired of walking on land?
"You too," she chimed, waving with her free hand, clutching the clock in the other. "See you again!"

Gently there comes a knock to the door, and upon no one answering, there is a slump and the sound of feet pattering away into a near-deadened car.
On the doorstep, there lies two things, a large Octopus Plushie and a letter concealing a wadded up 5,000 gold bill of gaian currency. The letter reads: Addressed to The Mighty Kraken Dear Mouse and Sylvest,
Why hello! Long time no see, hm? I heard from a little bird that you were needing some money, so I scrounged around and took as much as I could from my bank savings. Don't worry about me, my boyfriend has enough to keep me good for awhile.
I found this plushie in this really ritzy toystore, it has alot of things for Sylvest to do on it. Ribbons, zippers, buttons- you name it.
Don't be a stranger!

Dragonfly had overheard whispers in a chance journey to an aquarium, and she had suddenly found herself with the knowledge that a new tank needed to be built, for... For what, she didn't manage to catch, since she'd been dragged off and her eavesdropping had ended then. Either way, she had decided right then and there that she was going to make a donation.
Which, considering how little information she had probably wasn't the smartest of ideas. Nonetheless, a few days later, a letter arrived containing the sum of 15,000 gaian gold from, apparently, a woman named Dragonfly. The Letter To whom it may concern,
During one of my visits to the fine aquarium, I couldn't help but overhear that a new tank was needing to be built. I didn't catch the details, nor the specifications, but having a deep love of all things aquatic I have enclosed a donation that I hope will help. If there is any other way I can help, feel free to contact me.
Scrawled here was a phone number, and an address
Sincerely,
Dragonfly Kestal Kitamia

Wow, I was lucky today!
Someone was holding a raffle in town today, and Mom let me buy a ticket for 50 gold. They said it was an hour until they would pick the winning ticket. So we went around the shops and explored a bit. On one corner this man was giving out sushi samples. They were really good! I hope we can go out for sushi soon.
We got back just in time to hear the winning ticket... and the winner was me! We won 8,000 gold! Mom said I could do what I want with it, but I want it to help buy my new tank.
We're almost halfway there now, I think. 40,000 is... 40 percent of 100,000, so we are getting to the halfway mark. I'll have the new tank before I know it!
I'm going to learn how to make clam chowder today, but Mom says she shouldn't eat any. I guess that makes sense, since her face became really red and puffy after eating oysters that one time when I was smaller. And oysters are like clams. Maybe I should try to make something that she'll like, too.

If for any reason I would decide to take on any religion, it would be because of the good fortune I ran into just just yesterday.
I got a phone call from the aquarium manager- at first I didn't answer it because I didn't recognize the number on the caller ID, but her persistence persuaded me to pick up the phone. And when I answered, I must have jumped at least two feet off of the ground with surprise and excitement- they had done some fundraising, and offered to cover the 60,000 gold I still need to pay for the new tank.
I still can't believe this is happening. But here I am, packing a bag or two so we can stay at a resort while the construction and such is being done. It'll be nice to be able to stay at such a place that was nice enough to donate me some gold.

I'm getting the new tank! Wow!
And we're going to stay at a place called a 'resort' while it's being built. Mom told me there's a hot spring there, and it's up in the mountains. This is going to be a lot of fun!

Much to my disappointment, the resort trip was cancelled due to unavoidable circumstances. I think I was more bummed than Sylvest was, though- the thrill at the fact he was getting the tank overtook anything else altogether.
We ended up having to stay in this crappy little motel for a couple of weeks... the novelty of staying somewhere away from home was quite the novelty for him, though. It took a lot of persuasion to let us bring in the now tiny-looking tank so the poor guy wouldn't be dehydrated. It's really cute, though- even though there's kind of a room service, he still insisted on making the beds!
The new tank is absolutely awesome; I can't believe we actually have it! There's even a few small spells on it that make it quite easy to maintain- I'll have to see if I can figure those out.

We didn't get to go to the resort, but I don't mind. Instead we went to a motel. It was pretty cool! There were a lot of neat little shops around it and stuff! I had to sleep in my little tank, but it was worth it.
'Cuz now I have my big tank- it's huge! I can actually swim in it and everything. Hopefully I'll get to show it to my friends.
I'm gonna go make some dinner now... and I promised Mom it wouldn't have any fish or anything in it this time, since she seems to be really sick of it. I don't understand how anyone can get sick of anything that tastes so good, but oh well. I want to try something new anyway.

Sylvest... has grown. A lot.
Seriously. I've heard of growth spurts before, but this... I've had to buy him so many new sets of clothes in the past couple of months, I'm almost at my wit's end. I've taken to being part of scientific and magical studies (and I've found out some very interesting things, I admit) in order to scrape up enough money to get by lately.
But I shouldn't be complaining about my financial situation here... the kid's grown at LEAST six inches since he, well, became a kid.
I guess it should be expected. He's a giant octopus, after all.

Mouse knew something was up the moment she awakened. There was no smell of some experimental breakfast wafting in from the kitchen, no sound of sizzling grease or knives chopping... basically, Sylvest wasn't awake and cooking as he always was. There was a guilty twinge of disappointment before concern set in and she rose from bed, popped a peppermint in her mouth, and lumbered over to her surrogate son's tankroom.
There was a haphazardous moment where she almost tripped over one of the child's many cookbooks on the way downstairs, but she brushed it off and kept going. Nothing broken; nothing wrong. But she would give him a talk about where he should leave his things later.
"Sylvest?" she called into the tank intercom. "It's, uhh... almost nine-thirty. Shouldn't you get up?"
There's no response. Was he sick?
"...Sylvest, are you feeling alright?"
Slowly, something stirred from within the artififical den. Something inhuman... something creeping... something...
...oh. It was just one of his arms. And there's another, and another...
The octopus lad pulled himself out of the den using only those arms of his, the rest of his body more or less completely limp. His eyes slowly opened as he sat on the edge. They seemed... distant. Glazed over, as if he's still caught in a dream he didn't want to escape from anytime soon. He simply sat there, staring into something Mouse couldn't see, arms at his back undulating in an eerie, almost primal dance.
Something's wrong.

Most who dream of Eden see milk and honey in abundance, trees and flowers in an endless meadow.
However, it would be assumed that Eden has an ocean. If it is indeed a paradise, then it would be a paradise for all living things.
A being makes his way up the beach of Paradise, both large and small, both undulating with multiple limbs and walking on two legs. A breathtaking sunset is muted by a visible uneasiness. Dark, angry, roiling clouds creep across the horizon, intent on unleashing a stormy wrath upon Eden. The being isn't fazed by the storm, however (if the weather gets nasty, he can merely retreat below the surface of the sea). The source of his worry seems utterly unfounded, really... until another being makes its presence known.
It- she- has a wistful expression, but it breaks into a smile as she approaches the sea giant. He had seen her in glances before, but this is the first time she had really acknowledged her presence. He is frozen, unable to move or speak, as she comes closer, and begins to whisper something in his ear...
"........"
Sylvest wakes with a start, arms writhing behind him and bubbles escaping from his nose and mouth. He had had a fog over his mind for the past week, partially stuck in the dream world with a beautiful ocean and approaching storm, and the strange apparition.
Truth be told, he is still in that state, but the fog has lifted. Now he is set on figuring out the message he was given, so he can fulfill it.

As of late, Mouse had had that one grin on her face.
The something-awesome-has-happened grin.
It has recently been discerned that her magic aversion was caused be a gene- a gene which military and research professionals alike from dozens (perhaps hundreds) of different places would pay a lot of money to get.
This, obviously, made Mouse "a freakin' millionaire", as she put it when she burst into the house with the news. It wasn't like they were going to buy any fancy houses or anything, but now she can do all kinds of research without worrying about how to fund them as well as investing in projects that have potential. She has a post-it note to get in touch with Karoko sometime- apparently she has that inventor's streak going.
Alas, that is too much focus on something this little story is not about.
With that grin on her face, Mouse goes about her daily business. Which these days isn't too hard, thanks to half a dozen maintenance robots she had purchased and had heavily modified to perform household chores. Lazy? Yes. But that is how it is with most adolescents.
A familiar ruffling of large, flapping wings followed by a knock on the door alerts the presence of someone who hasn't been around lately. Sylvest rushes out of the kitchen holding a frying pan that's tossing fried prawns in one of his many arms, saying, "Mom, someone's at the door. Want me to get it?" The teen who is finally physically normal again- except for a slight, frecklish mottling on her hands- is currently looking at a very large chart concerning the different methods and repercussions of temporal displacement and interdimensional travel.
"Hunh? Oh! No, I'll get it, gimme a sec." She stands up abruptly, smooths out her hair that has been quite unruly due to months of it being under a Viking helmet, and scuttles over to the door. Opening it reveals an extremely tall, pale-skinned, griffin-hand-and-footed woman with full red hair and very large wings of the same color. "Hi, Mouse! It's been a while!"
"Oh, Rel! The post office is doing okay, then? How's the winter thing, and what's Mazo up to?" Mouse greets. She then eyes the box that the humanshift Eoghan is carrying. It smells like something inside is smoldering... "And what's in there?"
"The post office is doing great! The winter's ended, and things are really looking up!" Reliisha answers cheerfully. "As for Mazo, well, she had me deliver this package to you. She said that you'd be best to care for it, and I bet Sylvest could help-" She notices the octopus lad standing there, and waves with a bright smile. "Hi, Sylvest! I haven't seen you since you were a leaf, but Mouse has told me all about you!"
Sylvest's face peaks slightly, and his arms take on a brighter hue. With an awkward smile, he replies, "H-hi, uh, Rel! I can, uh, call you that, right?" Unbeknownst to the Eoghan, Sylvest had a little crush on her when he was but a leaf, and now it's coming back full force! Maybe she shouldn't have come in as her humanshift.
"Mouse calls me that, I don't see why you can't!" Reliisha replies kindly. "Why don't you come over here and see what I brought? Mouse is dying to see what's inside, so you better hurry up!"
With Mouse grumbling though her cheery grin about Rel's overly sweet nature, Sylvest just about slams the skillet back on the burner and rushes up close to the humanshift Eoghan. He backs away awkwardly when he realizes that she needs room to place the box, though. Setting it on the ground and opening it reveals a most peculiar egg. It is a pearly white, with a small smattering of shiny sapphire speckles. It lies on a kindling of red sticks that smolder with a smoke of the same color, which explains the smell from earlier.

"A charred egg? That's a weird way to cook-" Sylvest starts, but his parent bops him on the head before he can continue. "Honestly, kid, is everything food to you these days? That's a magic fire, and cooking with magic fires is a bad idea unless you know what you're doing." She's tried, and thus knows very well the consequences.
Reliisha nods in confirmation. "I haven't read much of the information Mazo has on them, but it's called a Kel'ashe. They hatch into the cutest little things..." She giggles in remembrance, and continues, "There seems to be something special about them, they aren't given to just anyone. So take good care of it. I have to go now, but I'll be back someday!" She smiles with utmost bubbliness and shifts back to the normal Eoghan form, dashing into a run beforetaking flight as a speck in the distance. Mouse stays squatting there for a while, finger poised and mouth half-open in the pose of inquiry. She doesn't even seem to notice Sylvest's somewhat heartbroken expression, which will thankfully save him from a lot of embarassment in the future.
Well, it's not like anything they haven't handled before, right?

Not a week after the egg's delivery by Reliisha, it had hatched rather quietly. And it seemed that she was right about it being... a little on the unique side.

It has pearly-white baby feathers with an odd, almost alien sheen to them. It seems complacent and loving enough...
And then, Sylvest decides to put on a Mozart CD.
What follows is a tremendous shriek that can be heard for miles- something that not only ravages the ears, but the mind as well. It seems that the little Kel'ashe rather hates- and could even feel physical pain from- just about every kind of music under the sun. He manages to break the CD player, in any case, and the CD within comes out melted like the cheese on an English muffin.
"Mom, does this mean we can't listen to music anymore?" the octopus lad practically whines.
"It looks like it, I'm afraid," Mouse responds with a sigh. "At least, unless we get some headphones..."
So now, the Pachinkorelli household not only has a child with octopus arms and a Mozou who is rarely around, but also a music-hating, probably psychic-powered fluffy dragon baby with a cry more agonizing than nails on the chalkboard.
Welcome to the family, Gyiyg.
