cool ion. the body looks custom. any word on the body?
@Phantom- if you dont have a HPA or LPA tank yet, better to get a 68/45 tank. it's good for getting used to those large tanks. mines huge lol.

Smartparts News...
Smartparts has lowered the prices on their markers. When you though they couldn't get any better they did. (One of their business decissions I actually like)
The new prices are- Ion= $225 SP-8= $325 Nerve= $475 Vision Shocker= $650
I consider these prices pretty crazy and well worth the deal.

Anyone owns a Shocker? I need help for a friend....
My friend owns a Ton Ton Shocker and he has been have these same two problems which he can't fix... 1. He can't get his paintball FPS to stop jumping around 30+ or 30-. 2. His marker will turn on but won't turn off, and is there suppose to be a spring behind the on/off button?

His marker will turn on but won't turn off, and is there suppose to be a spring behind the on/off button? For the FPS problem I'd have to think that would be his reg. I'd just take the reg apart and lube it up and make sure everything is in order then test it again and see what happens. Also make sure that his gun is receiving pressure.

My teams gun lineup
Bob Long Intimadator Nerve Shocker dm4 dm4 ion
Obiously I have the cheapest gun(ION)
But hell im team captin now. I can up with my Bob Long Buddy and the nerve and shcoker. Btw im a forward on a team in Florida called team Nu Age go to our myspace if ya want.
My ion is possibly the best gun ive ever owned. I have a stiffi carbon fiber barrel.I didnt know they made it with impulse threads but they do. I have the blackheart board. Besides that its pretty much stock. If anybodys ever down in FL go down to ER park and will have a lil 3 on 3 showdown.

Another review on the Ion by me...
Well after haveing my Ion for about a year I feel that there is a need for another review. I've only used the marker for about 20 days of play.
I went out today to play to close up my first year of owning my Ion for the review and to have fun. The marker in my mind has stayed the same as my last reviews of the marker. I feel that the marker is one astounding marker that competes with the higherend markers for a good solid price, with a few ups your set.
My currect upgrades on it are -Dye Ultralite -Dye Hyper 2 reg. -Trinity Feedneck -Trinity Trigger -Hybrid Contract Killer panel grips Everything else is stock.
But for todays play I went out with not expecting how it was going to do when first aired up, it worked perfect. I played maybe 8 2v2 games with the Ion with the exact setup above. My marker worked flawlessly all day with no problems at all.
I still give the Ion a 9/10

Spart Parts is a pretty good company. I currently own an ION and at one time i had an impulse. Iv never had a problem with either gun and they both performed great. I also play with one of my friends shockers every now and then and its an awesome gun.

For those of you wondering about the Nerve, its basicly a shocker, that is upgraded already, the point og the Nerve is to buy a gun and not have to upgrade it.
