Part 1: Crashing the Party

((Note:: I'm kinda summarizing the main events. X3))

Arafel
User Image

The entire house had been decorated by various kids, blues in one area, purples in the other, yellow over here.. It all seemed very lopsided. Like someone had sneezed confetti and streamers. But there couldn't be much more expected from kids.

Colette was at the door, greeting the guests that walked in with a bright smile and a thankyou for coming.

Miroku was outside, perched on the fence to watch for the couple to arrive so he could sound the alert.

Yuki had settled himself to watch the babies Akira, Ayumi, Chael, Yin, Yang, and Cougar. With Taikobo "helping" him with the task. Ofcourse this had been proven more work than it was worth, Akira Yang and Cougar kept trying to run off exploring. Ayumi and Yin seemed to have developed a hate for eachother, and Chael at Ayumi's side. Yin kept trying to use her powers against the two.

Taikobos way of handling this was to set up an adventure for the 3 explorers, which actually worked as he tried to explain the story with his limited vocabulary. Leaving Yuki to cease the fight.

The twin Teyco, Kagi and Kodoku(Official Image) were doing oposite tasks. Where as Kodoku was bolting around the house spreading streamers, Kagi was in the kitchen helping the few "adults", Kurushimi, Chu, and Koru prepare the food.

Kinjirareta was supervising the decorating, not that she was doingmuch more than the kids were doing. But when the occassional banner would fall she'd return it to its place more securely.

Misoka was hiding from the commotion in his room, as much as he wanted to be there for the baby shower he couldn't quite bring himself to step into all the commotion.

Ara, the kitsune just didn't do anything. Considering everytime she did anything somehow she'd trip, or things wouldjust fall on her. Thus she was now in the least decorated place she could find.

And last but not least, Eban the gun bearing angel was nowhere to be found.

Arafel
Miroku blinked, squiting his eyes .. was that the car? He nodded and hurried into the house "They're coming!"
The commotion almost instantly stopped as everyone moved to stare at the door expectantly. Even some of the babies seemed ot draw their attention to the door.

Aylee
Chaco turned and looked at the boy who'd just entered. Coming? That meant Arafel and Freize would be here within moments. Right. He shut his mouth, forgetting what he had been about to say, and stared expectantly at the door.

Cyrus and Casper weren't so... Attentive. All they'd heard was the crazy hyper girl (in their opinions) say the two were done. Well, there was no chance now of swapping salt and sugar. ...But they were hiding under the food table which meant... That girl would be coming soon!!! They exchanged quick glances, then ran for it again... Right into the legs of some weird mohawked boy. They didn't stop to think before dashing behind him to use him as safety!

Freize
Ajani was chomping on a pen idly, tilting himself to one side to take a look in his side mirror halfheartedly. He haphazardly spun the wheel to the right as they went on the turn, turning the car a bit too far before heading on forward, miraculously not hitting anything. He wasn't a nervous driver, not really.

Freize was on edge in the front seat, twitching every time Ajani took his eyes off the road for something or did something stupid. It was rare for him to allow the one-winged angel to drive, but he had for once been talked into it. And he was regretting it. A lot. Urk... He shot back a nervous look towards Arafel and Eva, hoping they were alright so far. He worried too much when everyone's lives were in the hands of Ajani. Well, then again, who wouldn't?

Evarobby was gnawing on three of his fingers, settled happily in his carseat, staring silently out the window. What a fun ride. It was even better than when Freize drove... But, eh, he liked the loud blasting music compared to Ajani's. Oh well.

Suddenly, the male's attention was off to the side. "You see that?" He lifted a hand to point at it, trying meanwhile to pull into the driveway. Which was in the opposite direction of which he was pointing. Freize growled, "WATCH THE ROA-"

BAM. Too late. Everyone jolted, and Ajani sat upright, staring stupidly at the tree they had run into... Who the hell put a tree in the driveway?... He let the actual facts soak in, and then turned slooowly to look at Freize and Arafel. Freize was staring at him, about to explode. The angel smiled weakly, "Eheh.... S-sorry..?"There was a moment of silence before he unbuckled and threw himself out of the car, running for safety in the house. Freize was soon hot on his heels, eyes having gone completely white, "GODDAMNIT, WHAT THE HELL WHERE YOU THINKING?" He tackled the angel, but the other male managed to wrestle free, and hurried to the door, flinging it open. "SHITSHITSHIT HIDEME." He darted forward, going to dive under a table.
Freize soon burst in after him, letting out a sputter of curses, looking just like an angry weremutt should. Blood-thirsty and frightening, spouting out curses. He ran forward towards the table the Kinder was hiding under, and then froze as he noticed people. Looked around slooowly... Blinked once or twice, the blue of his eyes returning after a second or so. Awkward silence. He cleared his throat, "I erm... Have to go pull in... The.." He shot Ajani a look, drawing his thumb across his throat as if slitting it. Ajani swallowed heavily. "CAR..." Pause... "The car... Eva... s**t I LEFT HIM IN THE CAR." And with that he retreated back to get Eva.

Ajani glanced around, and then smiled weakly. "Eheh... Heh... Umn.."

Arafel
Arafel sat there... wide eyed. It was physically impossible for her eyes to get any wider. One hand was set on the swell of her stomach as of to protect it, the other arm was placed infront of the toddler in an instinctive protective way. So if he happend to go flying foreward he would hit her arm and not the front window. Which was generally a good thing.

She took a deep breath swallowing hard as she slooowwwlly turned her head towards the open door. Hm.. hopefully freize wouldn't hurt him... too badly. She wasn't sure if she cared at the moment.

Pretty much all of the childrens eyes widened as they stared in .. some sort of horror at the scene. All were fairly sure Ajani was about to die horribly.

Arafel
Colette was left stunned, Oh please don't let anyone be hurt was all she could think at the moment as she stared out the door. This was supposed to be a happy day... Quickly she shoved past the two adults at the door, shoving being a bit unlike her as she hurried to make sure they were all okay.

Arafel

Arafel blinked a few times before smiling warmly at the boy, atleast no one was hurt right? Except maybe Ajani, he was likely dead now. Hm..
She looked to Freize, moving her arm out of his way to give him the same smile "I'm fine. Are you okay?" somehow she had completely calmed, or went into shock as she moved to scoot out of the car. Atleast they were going a fairly slow speed, ne?

Colette slowed to a stop next to Freize looking to the two worridly, upon seeing they all seemed fine she let out a sigh of releif "U..Uhm... We threw you a babyshower." she muttered timidly, fidgeting now. She'd been so excited.. now she just hoped they could have fun and relax.

Freize
The male relaxed, letting out a relieved sigh. "That's good... I'm fine." He smiled towards her, but was then distracted by the girl who came over to speak to them. And then came the affect that kids had on him. His bad mood seemed to evaporate into thin air, brows lifting, a smile gracing him. "Hm..? You did?" And then he switched Eva over to cradle him in one arm, using his other to lift Colette and spin her slightly before setting her back down cheerily, "Why, thank you.." He paused for a moment, and then tilted his head, "How about you go back inside, shut the door, and everyone can pretend like none of that happened, hm? We can start over." He went now to try and help Arafel out of the car, still a bit worried about her.

Spiro stood and strolled on over to the door hesitantly, peering out towards the accident in an uncertain manner.. He shifted slightly.. Everyone was still alive... He shot an icy look back at Ajani before returning to gaping out at the wrecked car, waiting for Colette or Freize to return.

Zhome
Zhome in the meanwhile had finally finished giggling about a monkey joke he had just gotten, rolling onto his stomach and slowly pulling himself up. So, on his feet again, he stumbled from side to side for a moment or two before pulling himself steady and taking another swig from his liqour. And that's when he saw his sister emerge from the wreck, with Frieze right next to her. He was just about to go to their house too! "Frieze-san! Oneesan! Ohayooo!" He shouted with a slight slur.

Arafel
Colette blinked as she was picked up, and couldn't resist letting out a giggle as she was spun.. All her worries were washed away by the simple action. "Alot of people showed up! and and they got presents!" she beamed cheerfully, pointing towards the house with excitment. Quickly nodding "Okay! You can come in.. and and.. we'll all yell suprise!" she smiled, taking off in a run back to the house.

Arafel smiled to the two, that was the sweetest thing ever. Colette was allways so caring to her. Not that her other kids weren't but they also seemed to have a more human side than this child. Ofcourse her lack of it kinda worried her, that allways meant that something was being hidden right?
She shrugged it off, slipping out with the help from freize. She gave him that smile. The look most women got when they were glad they had the best guy on earth. Okay he had his flaws, but so did she. "Thankyou." The smile turned into a grin as she gave him a quick kiss, interupted by the baby's kick "Oh!" her smile grew wider as she quickly grabbed his free hand to put on her stomach. "The baby's thanking you too. By kicking me in the ribs." she gave a light laugh at the slight irony in that.

Colette made it back to the house fairly quickly, quickly shutting the door. "When they come in we're gonna yell suprise!" she nodded happilly, shutting the door to take her place. "Everyones fine." she reassued to anyone that cared, moving to stand next to Spiro, giving him a small smile.

Freize
The weremutt smiled towards her, kissing her forehead before blinking and glancing down as his hand was placed on her stomach. His head tilted, and then he lowered to his knees with a light chuckle and pressed a kiss to her stomach. "Hmn." He was in a good mood now, no doubt. Back to his usual self. Evarobby outstretched his arms to pat her stomach too, just so he wouldn't feel left out.

Spiro looked towards Colette as she re-entered and closed the door, giving a tilt to his head before relaxing a bit when he heard everyone was okay... He had guessed but... The halfbreed didn't want to be losing anyone. He settled back slightly, attempting to return the smile with a small, crooked one of his own. Atleast he wasn't alone anymore. He felt awkward just standing there...

Freize's head jolted up, and he moved to a stand, "Eh?..." He turned slightly, and then let out a soft sigh before waving towards the drunk kitsune, "'Lo." He returned to his more quiet self, his toddler trying to climb up onto his shoulders, hands fisting at his forehead protector and not his hair. Eva had learned that Freize didn't like it when he grabbed his hair. He turned then towards Arafel, outstretching a hand. "Shall we go?" And then Freize would trod along with her to the doorway.

Arafel
Arafel smiled, giving a soft laugh to the kiss as the baby kicked once more in responce. She paused to look at her brother, blushing slightly at being "caught" before shaking her head. "Hi Oniisan.." she gave a wave shaking her head a bit. "You gonna come in with us?" she questioned.. attempting to coax the drunk into the house as she started towards it, making sure to move along freize as she placed her index finger into the small palm of the toddler with a smile.

Freize
The weremutt shook his head and sighed to himself, a hint of a smile on his lips. That Zhome.. He arched his brows slightly, pausing before the doorway... He shifted from foot to foot, and then muttered under his breath. "I... Erm... I've never been to a party... (Let alone a baby shower.)" Never really had sounded appealing. Loud music, tons of people. Socializing. Blegh, who needed all of that? But for now he felt this great gratitude, and a nervous excitement in the pit of his stomach. He supposed it was different if someone held a party for you, and you were used to no one caring you existed. Hm.. A few seconds passed before he moved forward to open the door. Well. Here goes... He pushed it open.

Arafel
"Come on, lets get inside." Arafel eyed the drunk, giving him a wave of ehr hand to try to get him to follow as she moved towards the door at the side of Freize. She took a deep gulp, forgetting all about her more than likely stumbling brother behind her. She wasn't good around people... and her nerviousness had upped during the pregnency. The biggest comfort was the fact most of this was her "family"'s doing, the fact Freize was infront of her, and her twin behind her. So... This was probably as close as one could get to their "comfort zone" around strangers.

She poked her head over her love's sholder, peering into the house as he opened the door.

"SUPRISE!" came the shout of a majority of children.(And ofcourse the animal's handler-i mean.. parents.) Causing Arafel to smile and lose all nerviousness and worry that she had before, and then go on to pretend how suprised she was.

Colette was still right at the door, beaming up at the two. This was the best thing ever, wasn't it? Her mom had a baby! and with a great guy... And life was good! Everyone was happy.
She moved to the side a bit as the two walked in, happening to catch a glance of the group approaching and pointing "Oh! look! its Avery..!" forget the others. She gave a small glance back to Spiro, as if to include him in some way in the announcement of Avery, before turning back to the outside adn waving to the boy.

.:.The baby shower.:.
Part 2:

Zhome
Zhome followed his sister like a content dog, tail wagging happilly. Of course, he was just a little bit more offbalance than one as he walked, listing softly from side to side on occasion. In fact, halfway there, he decided to use his dear twin as a balance with his one free hand, the other still gripping his liqour tightly. On the otherhand, that calmness was shattered with the surprise shout, raising every hackle on the kitsune's body and making him stiff as a board with eyes as wide as those of a deer in headlights. He was most definately not expecting, nor wanting, to be surprised, and he most definately was.

rimedragona
Avery forgot all about his dissappointment at missing the surprise part as soon as he saw Collette. He waved happily, and left the rest of his family behind to greet her.

"Collette! What's up? And where's Spiro, he's here too, right?" he asked, craning his neck to see into the house.

Rime followed with the others a bit more sedately, Ritsu almost hiding behind her, very carefully not touching any of the three girls that surrounded him.

Rime gave a sigh and a smile to Zhome as they neared the door, and offered him a hand getting there, if he wanted it. Then she greeted Arafel and Frieze.

"We're a little late, but we come bearing gifts, so you better let us in, eh?" she joked and chuckled.

Alida held the envelope up with a smile and nodded.

Freize
The weremutt's ears perked slightly, and he swallowed. Yep. The reality of the situation just hit him. He was walking into a room filled with people, all of which were there to see HIM and ARAFEL. So it wasn't one of those smile-and-stand-in-the-background sorts of things he was used to... But he'd adapt. That's what he was good at. He put on a small smile, Eva brightening at all the noise and glancing at all of the people filling the room with arched brows. He stuck two fingers of his freehand between his lips and sucked on them idly, smiling towards everyone. Woo for people.

The halfbreed looked up towards the two quietly, the shouting of all the others surrounding him and completely drowning out his own muttering of the word. He wasn't much for yelling.. But he had said it. He had. He glanced about the room, and then was distracted by Colette taking note of Avery's approach, moving forward himself to look out towards the angel. He raised a hand to give a small wave, relieved now that he was no longer alone in a room crowded with people. He was near Colette, and Avery was here now too. Everything would be fine then.. Hopefully.

Ajani raised his brows as he watched some sort of little guy he had never seen before scampering about and placing traps, thumbing at his nose idly, keeping behind Kuru for now. Freize could surprise you when you least expected it, after all.. Hm.. His smiled slightly. Kids.

Freize turned to Rime, smiling slightly, brows arching, "Gifts..? Eh, we'll think about it..." He paused a moment and then waved for her to come in, "Come on." Even stiff, anti-social Freize could open up a little bit. Well, depending on who was around.

rimedragona
Rime smiled, and led her brood inside, giving Arafel a quick hug as she passed, and a wink to Frieze.

Alida meanwhile, looked around for a gift table on which to place the envelopes, or failing that, she would simply present them to the couple herself.

Arafel
The wereelf gave a light nuzzle to his back as a reassuring gesture... that is before something nearly tugged her to the ground. She gave a half hearted smile to the kitsune clinging to her. "L..Lets get you to a chair..." with a pat to his head she attempted to help her twin to the nearest chair. "Maybe some coffee too.." she muttered as she helped him get to a sit, tail wagging just barely.

She stood straight, looking to rime with a smile and a blink. Presents..? Really? Had peopel actually gotten presents? Well that was what you did at a babyshower right... but still. It felt wierd getting a present. "Oh.. Thankyou!"

Taikobo and Kodoku were suddenlly at the womans side, ear to ear smiles as they stared up at her, both nearly bouncing with excitment "We got the baby gifts too!" Kodoku piped, getting a nod in agreement from Taikobo "Uh-huh We all gots gifts! Bo did too! Yuki help!"

"Oh really?" she smiled to the two, giving a glace to the other shyer children staying back "Well that was very sweet of all of you." she patted them both on the head.

rimedragona
Rime laughed. "Of course we brought gifts! I would feel strange to come and not bring something to celebrate the happy occasion!" Alida nodded her agreement, smiled, and then deposited the two envelopes on the counter before heading over towards the food.

Freize
Freize smiled slightly, moving to pull Eva down off of his shoulders and set him on the ground. The cheerful little toddler kept close, not sure as to why he was put down, just smiling quietly at all of the people. The weremutt shook his head, "You shouldn't have... Really..." He looked up hesitantly, smile somewhat sheepish, "Thanks."

Ajani raised his hand slightly, "I have a present, too!" He earned a glare, but his smile never faltered. The actual anger was over, he could tell. He was in the clear, no reason to be nervous. Hm, he was still standing behind the woman, though... Ahem. Just, um... Because he was too lazy to move. Cough. Yeah, that was it. It had nothing to do with being pummeled.

rimedragona
Rime grinned, and decided to let it be. They would protest till the Judgement day if she let them. "Well, you're getting gifts, and that's that. Enjoy them! " she said cheerfully. She looked over at Zhome with a covered smile when she saw the whoopie cushion, and looked around for someone bearing evidence of having planted it. Akari quickly made himself known by the peals of laughter, and she shook her head.

"Someone has a prankster's sense of humor. Should we humor him and not search for other traps, or should we go disarm the house?" she asked with a chuckle. Avery didn't do it often, but when he did decide to prank the house... she'd learned that there was never just one.

Freize
The weremutt smiled warmly, holding up his hands in defeat, "Guess we have no choice then.. Thanks." He turned his gaze towards the sound now, having done what he usually did and... Well, he sort of tuned noises like that out. He eyed the prank device and heard the laughter of the child, a slow smile coming across him. Hm. This might be fun... Freize had evaded many'a trap before... Let's see just how good this prankster is. "Hmm... Let's leave it be for now."

Ajani's hands slipped into the pockets of his colorful jacket, fumbling about for something, "Ah... Its in here somewhere... Aha!" He pulled out a sealed, slightly crumpled brown paper bag, glancing onto it thoughtfully. He let his fingers work over it a moment or so before he went to present it to the couple. "Don't have much, and of course I don't have any money, skills, or kids stuff... So I got something for Arafel, or maybe the kid if its a girl.." He held out the bag hesitantly... Does it look good on me, Ajani? ... He shook off whatever his thoughts had been, smiling towards them. "Open it later..." After it was taken, he'd glance about and then retreat back to lean against some unsuspecting table.

.:.The baby shower.:.
Part 3: Open mine first D:

Arafel
Arafel smiled, watching the situation. Poor Freize... he really had a hard time with people. He was good with them, but he allways looked so nervious. Course he was but whatever. Hm poor guy. She quickly abandoned her drunken brother for the nervious mate. Zhome possibly the more needy of the two.. but he would understand. Or he'd be too drunk to remember.
She slipped to his side, hooking an arm in his and setting her head on his sholder in a slightly reassuring mannor.

The moment was broken by the two roudy kids tugging at ehr and freize pant legs, Kodoku on freize, and Taikobo on Arafel. Both shouting excitedly to come see their presents.

Arafel laughed a bit, patting the boy at her side on the head to ruffle his hair, giving a glance to Freize as if to ask if they should.

Freize
Freize watched the whole thing and then gave a shake to his head and snorted lightly, a slight wave given towards the new female. What a party. He looked towards Arafel with a smile, his hand going out now to meet hers gently. It was a party for them... How odd... He thought back, back to before they met... He didn't think anything like this would ever happen to him. As a matter of fact, he had doubted he would live long enough to meet anyone who actually cared, anyways.. Seems like he was wrong. He arched his brows, smile growing, "Presents?" He was, of course, hinting they get 'em opened. He could be a child sometimes.

Arafel
Kodoku nodded, giving another tug to freize's pantleg "Come on! Open me and Kagi's first!" he tugged again, before letting go to bolt across the room, stopping next to teh table to bounce next to it.
Taikobo blinked, snapped out of his attention to the blobs as he watched kodoku bolt off "Aa! No!" hey not fair. He wanted his to be opened first...Only one thing to do. Bolt over to the presents and stand infront of kodoku. Too bad he was shorter.

Arafel chucked before holding her free arm up in the air "To the presents!" she shouted cheerfully, ignoring any glances she may have gotten for this. It was a party.. for them. They should have fun, right? It was all like a dream really... making her tail wag faster as her thoughts trailed over just how far they'd come. Oh well... there was time for going over old memories later. It was time to make new ones right now!
Carefully making her way through the crowd following Kodoku and Taikobo's path to the pile of stuff. Wow there really was alot wasn't there?

Freize
The male's head lifted, and he watched the two before grinning slightly and giving a shake to his head. Kids. He did a little awkward shuffle through and around the stuff, scratching at his forehead... Wow. He glanced over everything, tail wrapping about his leg. It didn't stay there for long, though- the new iced tip of his tail got this wierd feeling if he let it sit still for too long, so he let it sway idly behind him.

Aylee
Chaco, who had been silent through most of the proceedings, turned his attention to the presents... Aylee's extremely badly wrapped present was one of the first within arms reach. And 'badly wrapped' was an understatement. It looked like she'd just taken some funny colored paper and tapped it all over the... thing. Heck, you could even see some of the hair sticking out of a corner!

He didn't even know why it had hair anyway... They didn't usually have hair, did they?

And he was extremely tempted to claim no knowledge of ever having brought a gift of any kind, considering how awful that one looked. That and he KNEW his mother'd put a card with their name on it inside, just because she knew he'd try and feign ignorance...

Arafel
Arafel peered over the presents, couldn't get either taikobo or kodokus first. That would cause bickering abmonst the kids. So her hand naturally found a badly wrapped one first, peering over the card. "This ones from Aylee and Chaco and their family." she smiled, passing it to freize to open.

User Image-From Koru, and Ayumi(sorta). A small book of stories to read to the baby and whatnot.

User Image-From Kagi and Kodoku. Kodoku wanted to get the baby a frog, Kagi protested they needed somethign more practical. This was found.

User Image- Colette and Kurushimi's gift. A small wooden(okay the body is wooden.) angel to protect and watch over the baby.

And.. Chu gave them a hug, finding it to bethe best gift or something like that.

Faidrae
Sensing that it was time for Miralle to give her familes gift she quickly stood up and grabbed it. It was a large box covered in blue and green stripey paper. On the out side there was an envelope with notes from each of the children inside it.

I'm really happy.
The baby seems to be doing well, kicking and the like. Its so... perfect.

Colette, the sweetheart, went through all the trouble to make a babyshower for us! She got so many people... They brought presents. Which are all neatly put away in the baby's room.
The kids even went through getting us things.

Cassi brought some digimon, the kids adored it. Most atleast.

There was a small problem with Ajani, he wrecked the car. Poor Freize. But everyone was safe.

I've... never had anything like that before. it was so.. wonderful. And fun. I'm so glad the baby will be born into such a loving enviroment. A... safer place.

Sure... Kids made fun. She knew it... But that didn't help this.

The were-elf's tail tucked between her legs as she tried to ignor them. Tried to just move on... Don't humor them. Don't encourage it...
She frowned a bit, wings folding to her head as the words freak, monster, somethign about halloween followed after small rocks.

The rocks pelting her back didn't hurt, heck if she hadn't have heard them hitting the pavement.
Sticks and stones may break my bones
But words can never hurt me.

She gave a light snort. That wasn't true at all.

Arafel flinched as something harder hit her back, spinning around to look.
By that time some bystander noticed the boys pelting the poor pregnent woman and interviened. But Arafel didn't notice too much. She had long ago went in her own world. Her.. safe place.

Curiously, she kneeled awkwardly, running her fingers over the smooth surface of the stone. "How pretty..." She mumbled under her breath, blinking when there was a kick.
A small smile made it's way to her face. "So you wanna see it too?" Another kick. She laughed a bit, scouping up the small gem. "Okay. I'll keep it for you then."

She stood, dropping the object into the bag and continued down the pavement. Looking to the swell that had replaced her feet (Atleast in her line of sight). Giving a soft whisper when she was sure no one could hear her. "You don't think I'm a freak do you...?" She paused for a moment, before shaking her head and smiling. "Nevermind."

Am I really good enough for you...?

.:.Dreams.:.

Arafel
Arafel shifted in her sleep, the pregnency had been going well. She was coming along nicely... but as of late her dreams started to change. It was wierd... Things about children, other things provoked by her anxieties about the child. All sorts of things like that.
But this was different...

Someone familiar. No. Two familiar people. They said something.... The voices were calming. But.. she couldn't make out what they had said.

And now they were leaving! "Wait!" She hollared after them. Running but seeming to go nowhere. "Wait, what did you say?"

They kept fading. Out of her reach. "Wait!"

Her own voice bolted her out of her sleep, eyes shooting open to stare at the dark ceiling. It took her a few seconds to figure out what had happend...Another dream. She blinked, brushing a hand through her hair and heaving a sigh. That was wierd...But.. then again. When I have I ever been normal?

Freize
Freize had been lost within the dark abyss that was quite normal for him during sleep. Part of the curse included lack of dreams, which could be considered either good or bad.. He let out a small sigh and shifted within the blankets, ears twitching so as to catch any noise going on around him. He was always on guard, only half asleep when he actually got some rest. Something moved. His eyes were open and he turned to face the noise, brows arched. He frowned when he found Arafel awake, moving to prop himself up on his elbows, "Hey..." His voice was soft and quiet, "What's..." He yawned a bit, "What's going on..?"

Arafel
She blinked, looking to the man next to her with a bit of a dazed expression. "Oh..." Another blink as she tried to clear her vision keeping her voice somewhat hushed. "Sorry. I didn't mean to wake you..." she shifted to her side. Trailing her hand down his arm to find his hand. Smiling a bit she took it "Just a dream..."

Freize
"A dream..?" Came his voice, still heavy with sleep, fingers twining with hers. "What kind of dream..?" He moved closer, cuddling in towards her slightly and letting out a tired sigh. He was big on physical contact while sleeping, mostly as a result from the canine in his blood. In a pack, canines generally stay in contact while sleeping. So did he. "What kind of dream..?"

Arafel
"It was.. wierd." she let her eyes slip close, making an inhuman noise as she cuddled into his embrace. Tucking her head under his chin to his chest "Familiar almost..." her voice trailed off into a yawn.

She enjoyed the physical contact as well, enjoyed it at all times really. Often leaning on him, or slipping in a nuzzle whenever she felt the need. Of course she was possibly more canine than he was.

Freize
The male wrapped an arm around her now, letting out a small sigh.. "Familiar..?" He never had dreams- he never once in his life had a dream, but he knew what they were. Both Ajani and Spiro were plagued by bad dreams and all of that, and he would be totally stupid if he had no clue what they were... He just... Wasn't able to relate.

Arafel
"Like... A memory." in a half asleep tone and state she decided to mumble on about it, "Everythign was white.. except for two people. And they said some-" intupted by another yawn "Something...But I couldn't understand it." Her tail gave a muffled thud as it tried to wag but was suffocated with blanket.

Freize
The weremutt was quiet for awhile before breaking the momentary silence, "Wierd.." Sure, he knew little to nothing about dreams, but hey. That sounded pretty wierd. Luckily he had a little thing called common sense. It wouldn't have affected her so much if it were any normal dream.. Maybe it was time to just go back to sleep now- it seemed as if she had nothing more to say on the dream. And both of them were tired. "Mmmn." He let himself begin to slip back into his usual half-sleep, "G'night... Then..."

Arafel
"Mm... Ni...ght.." she mumbled into his chest as she drifted back to sleep, to continue her normal dreams.

.:. A new doctor? .:.

"Tara can't.... Right. I see...." Arafel nodded to the voice coming from the phone, even though it couldn't see her. "A transfer...?" A blink was given... Did they really need to transfer another doctor in just for her? "You really don't have to go through so much trouble I--" she slouched a bit "Oh. Well... Okay. Thankyou. Bye." she carefully set the phone down.

Of course. Ofcourse she would have to be so complicated as to require a specilist doctor. But... she couldn't argue it. It was better for the two creature growing inside her womb. She peered down to the swell of her stomach, smiling softly as she ran a hand across it. "Doctor nev huh?" She mused to the unborn child. "I guess we should make an appointment to meet her...."

.:.Shh Don't Wake It.:.

It would be dangerous, he had known.

The child... Could have ended up like him.

But it was different now, it really was... So different.

Atleast, that's what he told himself. The weremutt, instead of drifting into his usual dreamless sleep, had spent the whole night on his back staring at the ceiling. And worrying. It was something he had done more as of late than ever in his life- it was true, in his earliest days, however painful they were, he worried a lot less. Because he had his life defined and written out for him. Everything was there, no surprises and no changes. Now everything was so... Different. Which was better for his coming child. This he knew. The world he had known before would have shunned out his child... His child... The second living weremutt... Freize being the first, of course.

And the child who had his father's family name... And... He rolled onto his side and moved out of bed. The child who had avoided the curse. He eyed Arafel, who still seemed to be sleeping peacefully. He smiled warmly and leaned forward to brush a few strands of hair from her face, gazing down upon her as he thought over... So many things... Too many things. He hated thinking.

The 'mutt then made his way to the kitchen, going to slump at one of the many chairs at the table. This baby could avoid the curse... But not the mixed blood. Never the mixed blood. Whatever it was, boy or girl- it would... It would face similar prejudism as he and Arafel did. He didn't want that. And in a way, he blamed himself. Blamed himself for what he was, and how he could never just be a normal guy. How he forced his child into being anything but a normal kid.. And how he might be a bad father in the future... Especially after...

His fingers moved over the red, circular markings on his upper arms. What was holding the curse back... It wouldn't last forever. It had already gone a long time... And if something really big happened, he would go fully into one of his forms and break it. What he had been avoiding for so long... It was just the beginning of a rough road, he knew.

But... Atleast he didn't have to walk that road alone anymore. He had for over a hundred years. It was a tiring, lonely walk.

His worrying lasted a few hours longer, and then he went back into the bedroom and pretended to be asleep. He and Arafel rose about ten minutes or so later.

Freize rarely got sleep nowadays.

.:.Bend and Not Break.:.

"An ulcer?" The weremutt's brows arched slightly.

"Yes. We've run some tests and found that you have-"

"Damnit... This isn't... I mean.." Freize growled and settled back in the chair. Too much stress had begun tearing himself up on the inside. So many little things... Worrying about the baby's future, Spiro falling down the stairs, Eva getting lost and climbing up into trees... Umi's developing elemental powers... Cougar in general... Ajani in general... All of it was just too much for the poor guy to handle. It had stressed him and his body to the max.

Actually, he seemed to have more than one ulcer- the doctor said it was hard to tell because he build-up on the inside was so different from that of a human. Freize said he understood. Got some sort of perscription. Walked home because SOMEONE crashed the car. Oh well, it was a nice day outside. He would have enjoyed it if he weren't in extreme pain at the moment. Bah, he'd dealt with pain before. He locked it away in the back of his mind.

He stopped for a moment and watched a bird, thinking to himself. And then he went inside. And never told Arafel.

She had enough to worry about.

.:.This is Your Life.:.

Freize
It's getting later and later... I can't wait. Sure, there's been a lot of stress as of late, but... It's just like my father believed a long time ago... Some day you fall in love, and you don't care if it's right or not, you just... Want to be with that person, and then one day you have a beautiful thing that came from the both of you. That is a part of the both of you. I feel the same.

A lot has happened since Arafel got pregnant... A baby shower- that was nice. I've never had a party before... Ajani... Crashed the car. I'm not as angry as I pretend to be- he and I are closer than we seem. Shh, don't tell anyone. Eva got lost... Arafel had some wierd dream...

Oh! And I almost forgot to mention... We gave the baby a last name. Kyomutentan. My family name... I hope they will be able to carry it with pride, unlike me and my father were. I always prided over it in my heart. I will never regret being my father's child. He and my mother were the greatest beings ever alive. I will never forget, nor will I regret. I've been noticing that a lot more now. I've been thinking about them more now. Hopefully my child will be able to see me in the same way..

Anyways... Arafel's family moved into my house. We still have extra rooms- this place is ******** huge. Gods. Everything's been pretty normal for me... I still go out every day and look to do some physical labor for money, and then I come back and do desk work. Sometimes I'm afraid I'm not here enough for Arafel... I don't mean to... I really want to be there... But it's hard to balance everything at once. I hope she can feel my heart with her. It's always there. I may go all over the earth, but I'll always leave my heart here with her.

She's been doing so well.. Well, I've never really been around pregnant women, but... She's strong. Stronger than she thinks she is. I know that she can handle this... The baby's starting to kick, too! It's really great... I'm so excited, so happy... Something I helped create... A part of me... Arafel hasn't been having many moodswings, actually. Not many that I've seen, anyways. But she's had her cravings.

Ajani does most of our shopping- I don't know what to get. I only eat meat. My body doesn't require vegetables very often. Maybe one serving a year or something. Oh well...

Nothing much else to write. Everythings going pretty well... For now. I hope that everything stays that way.

We're getting close... I can feel it. Plus that little red mark on the calander is also an indication.
I've had a good pregnency... I'm a bit worried about the labor. But physical pain has really become.. over rated to me. It hurts, and then it fades. It goes away. I almost welcome it.

There weren't too many mood swings... I felt myself having a bit more anxiety at times. Maybe that was one. No morning sickness! (Of which i'm quite grateful for.) Just cravings... Of which Freize was nice enough to fetch for me.

I actually ate dirt!
I feel so wierd.
But the book says that can be normal.

Oh the books... I've gotten two books. One for normal human pregnency, and the other for canine. With both they seem to provide good information.

All and all... This is one of the best things that ever happend to me. I could never compare any of my experiences with the others... meetign and adopting my other children. The life me and my brother shared(Though it wasn't all good, because he was there to cheer me up it was allways fine.)

And of course, meeting Freize. The only person that ever could really understand me, and accept me. Even love me...
When I hide away my own feelings he knows. He knows the way I really feel when no one else takes the time to notice.
I miss him when he leaves, but I know no matter how long it takes he'll allways come back to me. So I wait.

I guess that's about it.

Arafel

.:. I'm Leaking! D: .:.

Arafel
Arafel was outside... despite her order of bedrest. Still in her "nightgown", the oversized gaia shirt, knees slightly covered in dirt as she filled her sudden urge to dig. Why? Who knew... She just.. needed to.
And so, here she was, trying to reach down to get a handful of dirt to pull out, each new reach becoming harder than the last over her enourmous stomach.

Freize
Yaaaawn.

His ears lifted, lowered. Lifted, lowered. One hand lifted so as a claw could scratch at the side of his nose, his legs stretching out beneath his desk. Freize stared down at the papers cluttering his desk silently for a few moments or so before setting down his pen and flexing his cramped hand. How long had he been working? He gazed drowsily up towards the clock on his desk.... He should go check on Arafel and get ready for bed. Get ready for another long night of falling in and out of a dreamless sleep. He glanced over to a large, dog-like creature curled up beneath his office window, "Hey, Dinh, I'm heading to bed."

Two green eyes regarded him curiously... -Alright.-

And that was all he got. The weremutt pushed himself back from his desk and moved to a stand, "Night Dinh." And then turned off the lights and headed upstairs.

(Dinh: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v228/freizegarbage/Dinh.png )

Arafel
A curious look was given to the sky, as if the time had suddenlly dawned on her. "Hm..." she frowned a bit, pausing for just a moment to wonder why she was out here exactly.

The thought was quickly thrown away as she wobbled awkwardly to a stand. The simple task becoming harder and harder... maybe that was the point of bedrest. A few pats to her clothing was given, knocking off a bit of loose dirt to start her way back to the house. Idley brushing a few strands of silver strands from her eyes.

Hm... Something felt odd.

Freize
Walk walk step yawn.

He just reached the bedroom and he was already prepared to just conk out. He glanced about the room, half-awake by now, having gotten himself into the mindset of sleep. And then something dawned on him. There was one less person in the bed than there should have been. Arafel was gone. Again. Perhaps if it had been the first time that Arafel had defied the laws of bedrest he would have panicked. But it wasn't, and so Freize instead turned back and tried picking up the trail of her. His ears perked slightly as he searched.

"Araafeel!? Arafel!?" Of course, it didn't do much- Freize wasn't made for yelling. He rarely did, and he had a naturally quiet voice. Even when angry or panicked his yelling wasn't as loud as most men- which was saying something, for on the rare chance Freize lost control of ANY emotion, he lost control completely. It was one of the setbacks of some of the breeds in his blood. Meh.

Arafel
Arafel padded into the house, tail swaying ever so slightly with both her hands on her stomach. Her sensitive ears picked up the faintest noise, somethign sounding like her name. Atleast she thought...
She perked a bit, moving in a bit more ready to find the source of where she thought the sound had come from... if there even had been.

She stopped abruptly at a sudden odd... feeling. Glancing down, with a step back. "Eh..?" she questioned curious to the tiny puddle on the floor. Then a glance upwards, no.. the roof wasn't leaking...

Freize
"Arafel!?" The weary mutt rubbed at the back of his neck and gave a yawn, lumbering about the house in search of his pregnant... Mate of sorts. Sniff sniff... His hand moved to rub at an eye. "Ara..." He trailed off in another yawn. Tired tired sleepy.

He glanced over the row of closed doors he passed in the hallway, seeking out light shining through the cracks below them so he would know who to come back and check on after he found Arafel. Of course Ajani's was one of them- he'd offer that guy sleeping pills like he did every night. The one-winged angel seemed to be a closet insomniac or something. He caught a glimpse of Arafel ahead of head, "Arafel.." He started, preparing to throw out a proposal to go back to bed. Freize was bad at demanding things unless absolutely necessary.

Arafel
By the time the mutt made it around the house to her there was a rather large puddle of water, and a pregnent woman staring dumbfoundedly at it.

There was a look of responce, to show she had heard him atleast. The woman had a paticularly hard time asking for things for herself... Thus, even though labor would hit ANY minute, she delayed in saying anything. Of course, logic forced her to atleast do something... resulting in a point to the water and a blink "Aa..."

Freize
The mutt looked sleepily between her and the puddle a few times, and it seemed not to be clicking. The gears were turning though, and lucky for Arafel her weremutt was a literate man, and although he had never seen a woman go into labor ever in his life he knew a good deal about it... Turning turning... Click. Blue eyes widdened, lips parted, and out sprang a string of cursewords long enough to wrap around the world twice- he even made up some.

Freize was awake now.

Tail bristled, ears pinned back, Freize hurried to Arafel, "We have to g-get-s**t- we have to get g-going! Y-you're, that's... That's a sign that you're... That... THE BABY IS COMING." And then his head jerked up and one hand fell to rest on his own stomach as a wave of nervousness fell over him. "DAMNIT, you're stuff! I-I'll go get your stuff, you get in the..." The car. The car was TOTALED. "Shitshitshitshit. 'Fel, call 911." And then he took off to go get her stuff. He wasn't sure why you needed to pack stuff to take with you to the hospital, but he had urged Arafel to do so and kept the suitcase under their bed. He took off up the stairs and heading straight for their room.

Arafel
Arafel was suprisingly calm for the moment, giving the faintest smile to the sudden slur of cusswords. An odd reaction to that but she was an odd woman...

Watching him go she moved over to the phone, doing as he had said. Beep, beep, beep. "Uhm... My water broke... and we don't have a ride... Yes.. thankyou..." she calmly followed with their address.. well calmly for a moment. "Barton toow-Aa!" she gave a loud noise, cringing. "Y..Yes.. I'm allright. Barton town...th..tha-nn..." she apused a moment, trying to hold in the second yelp. "Thankyou..."
With that she hung up the phone, giving a light whimper to curl slightly.

Freize
Sometime between gathering his stuff and returning to Arafel's side, the weremutt had somehow completely composed himself. He couldn't let his emotions get too strong, or bad things would happen. He had to compress them. It was like getting hunted.. Well, sort of. Not really. But he treated it that way. "Are they coming?" His tail curled around his leg.

Whazzat? A shaggy brown head poked outself out of a door, weary purple eyes staring out into the darkness, adjusting. The angel then scooted on out, soon joined by a halfbreed boy in Zorro pajamas and a doctor in flannel. Ajani himself was clad in a baggy gray shirt and a pair of bright yellow, baggy pajama pants. All three of them headed over to check out the commotion, sleepy eyed and curious. Ajani, their apparant leader, spoke first, "Hey... What's going on?"

Arafel
Arafel gave a smile to Freize, her face slightly flushed "Yea..." She flinched again, well.. that wasn't AS bad. "Nnn!" apparently the next made up for it. The wereelf wouldn't scream as loud or as much as a normal woman... she'd learned long long ago how to control pain. Though labor must have been the easiest pain to ignor...yea...

"L..Labor.." she panted a bit, trying to keep her posture, but failing miserably.

Freize
The three all gave different reactions, although all of them weren't easy to pick out. Ajani was startled and suddenly seemed worried- although he tried not to let it show. Hatori was indifferent. He was a doctor, but didn't specialize in this area, and so... He couldn't do anything to help. Normally someone would be fretful because of that fact, but it seemed as though these two had everything under control. Spiro- confusion and curiousity. What was labor? He had yet to have "the talk" or any form of anything close to it. He just knew there was supposedly a baby in Arafel's stomach. The only definition he knew for "labor" was physical work... Hm..

Freize set down the suitcase and took ahold of one of Arafel's hands, speaking to her softly, "We should wait outside, yes?" And then he decided it would be best for him to carry her, and thus moved to scoop her up- bridal style. He carried her tenderly and with surprising ease- sadly, this mutt had lifted much heavier things than a pregnant woman. Much, much heavier things. He looked in the direction of his office, and as if on silent cue, Dinh emerged. They shared a glance before the dog-like creature stalked forward, grabbed the suitcase, and followed Freize as the mutt sent the others back to bed and moved towards the front door- which he never locked, of course. He pushed his way out and made his way with surprising ease down the stairs. He was graceful when he stressed the need for grace.

Arafel
She gave a nod of agreement, blinking as she was scooped up. "Aa..I..I'm fi-nn!!" Her eyes shut again, deciding to accept the help. Her arms went around her mate's neck, hands fisting into his shirt as she burried her face into his shoulder. Somehow.. just him being here was enough to ease the pain alittle. Or atleast any anxieties, no matter what happend she knew he'd be right there to fix it.
So... it was good.

"Aa...aah..." she tensed.. then relaxed some. "I..I'm happy. Our baby's coming..." she lifted her head to smile warmly, for the few seconds she had before the next contraction hit. Settling it back on his shoulder soon after, trying to focus her attention on breathing correctly.

Hm.. this all explained the "cramps" she was having while she was outside....

Freize
The male stared out, waiting expectantly for their help to arrive. Of course, he had never called 911 before... He had absolutely no clue what they were looking for. BUT, he wouldn't let anyone on to that. He'd stay composed, and look as if he actually knew what he was doing. As if he assisted people going into labor ALL the time. He began rubbing one hand around in circles on her back in a reassuring manner, sharp eyes surveying the area.. Well, looks like sleep was out of the question tonight... He looked down to her as she spoke and nodded, "Hai. I am too..." He smiled softly, and then kissed the top of her head as she rested it back against his shoulder.

He looked to Dinh now, and they seemed to be sharing yet another of their psychic conversations. The blue creature set down the suitcase and trotted to the edge of the street, ears perked. He looked about for the ambulance, and then settled down on the sidewalk. He would wait....

Sirens. Flashing red lights. Dinh was soon hurrying back to Freize's side, sending him a little message while picking up the suitcase once again. There were already teeth marks in it, showing he had held it. He had a firm grip. The mutt helped Arafel onto the ambulance (people were surprised to see some guy carrying a pregnant woman, but let it go,) Dinh following. The critter left the suitcase on the car and then headed back up the front stairs. Freize waved him off and then agreed to come along in the ambulance.

Arafel
"Nnn!!" Breath... breath. Hee hoo hee hoo....Good... That was the slightest bit better.

After what seemed forever the pain finally ebbed away, allowing her to notice the hand rubbing her back. She relaxed a bit, everything would be okay... Withdrawing her head from his shoulder to glance toward the ambulence, squinting some.

Colette and Yuki made their way down, looking at the others expectantly. Colette wearing worry etched onto her face, fretting the fact that someone was hurt. Afterall thats what ambulences meant...Yuki was first to speak up though. A slight look of fear on his face, but trying to hide it away. "Wh...whats going on..?"

Freize
(AND THEN THE POWER RANGERS CAME.)

Everyone was staring out the front window, watching as the ambulance pulled away and drove off.. Hatori was leaning against the windowframe, hand tucked in his pocket. Spiro was blank-face staring, and Ajani still held that nervous look. He was worried.. What if she died in labor? He couldn't make it if someone died...

They turned as the other two approached, Hatori the first to speak, "Arafel went into labor." Ajani took notice of the worry in the children and was instantly smiling, although fear glowed in his eyes, "Everythings fine..." Atleast... He hoped so. Spiro was silent, watching them all before turning back to the window, tail swaying idly behind him.

Arafel
Colette blinked a bit cluelessly.. equal to Spiro. She knew... alittle... maybe. Not near enough though.

Yuki nodded, relaxing a bit to rub at his eyes.. the fact he had been asleep a few moments ago suddenlly hitting him as he seemed to practically fall asleep there.

The others were stirring really, but all were either too young to come down, or too shy... or just didn't care. CoughEbancough.

Colette smiled a bit to Ajani, nodding "O..Okay."

Arafel
((SKIPPING!))

Arafel laid there a moment, trying to catch her breath. Face flushed, covered in a cold sweat. Hair plastered to her face, as her eyes searched around for her children. Yes.. children... What a suprise...
Doctor nevarinn... or Nev, even though she was rather.. odd. Currently spouting nonsense that was completely unrelated to them, was still good.

And then... the nurse and nev returned with the cleaned children, Arafel tried to force herself into a sit, only managing to earn a rather nice sharp pain, and get the slightest bit more propped... Oh well, that would do.
She carefully took one of the children, holding the precious bundle as if he were as fragile as he looked. "Our babies..." she said weakly, smiling towards Freize and their other child.

Freize
Freize was smiling towards Arafel now that it was over- normally, a man would have freaked out after watching a birthing. The weremutt wasn't quite sure as to why- it was a natural part of life. And besides, he'd seen much worse things than that... He was suddenly being handed a baby... A boy. He held the little silver-haired thing tenderly, although a bit awkwardly. Everyone knew he wasn't used to holding a child so gently... Normally he held them at his hip. But this was a NEWBORN. He couldn't do that with a NEWBORN... The little baby yawned and he smiled softly. His own flesh and blood. Something he had never thought he'd have.

He looked to Arafel and his other son. Both were also something he never would have thought he'd ever have.. He walked closer to Arafel's side, and holding the child securely against his chest, he stooped slightly to kiss her forehead.

Arafel
The baby blinked at the the woman. Trying to focus his eyes against the bright lights on the ceiling of the room. He frowned a bit, moving to burry his face into his mother's buissum. Giving a tiny noise as he did so.

Arafel's smile widened, leaning slightly into her mate's side. it was all so... perfect. She allways dreamed of these things as a child... But, it had allways jsut been that. Dreams. Games... Like when normal children pretended to be princesses, or Gambino. Things like that. She'd pretend she was in a house, with kids adn a husband.
Though while this might seem like a normal game of "house" it was her biggest fantasy. The games of house she played involved catching her brother's dinner.

Her eyes drifted shut, more of her weight resting on Freize's side. She was, after all, completely exhausted.

Perfection. They're perfection. I almost feel if i whipped out a dictionary right now and went to that word it would say "See Newborn."

The labor wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Sure, it hurt... I've had worse, i think. Or maybe not, i can't really compare it to the other pains i've had.

Either way.. that's over, and they said i recovered much faster than normal women. We had two beautiful boys... Iteru and Futoeki. They're so soft and they smell good (most of the time) It's wierd... So different from the other babies we've had. They're allways much older, they can sit upright.... but these two seem so fragile.

It's like a dream... Freize and I in these little packets of love... Haha... I'm so sappy. As I write this i can see the two little bundles curled up together sleeping peacefully. Freize and I both help feeding them, changing them, it all tends to happen at the same time so we just grab one and get to work. Sometimes I'm almost happy they wake me up at ungodly hours of the night... just so i have an excuse to hold them.

We're all so happy. Freize... Myself, the twins seem to be too. I guess i should be moving out now, huh? I moved in so I'd have help during hte harder months of the pregnancy... But I don't really want to leave now. Maybe we can stay just alittle longer...
