queenJaN Psychicmind Here's one: A man rides into a town and is looking for a haircut. There are only two barbershops in this town. He walks into one shop and finds a man with messy hair. The floor is littered with hair. He walks out and looks in the other barbershop. The barber has neat hair and the floor is clean. The man walks right out and gets his hair cut at the first barbershop. Why does he choose the first barbershop? mmm the man himself is a barber? Well if the first barbershop is messy and the second berbershop is neat I would guess that the first barbershop got more custimers so the barber had less time to work on his hair while the second barbershop that is neat had less custimers then the first so the barber had more time to work on his hair. I would go to the one who got more custimers because he most likely does a better job then the one with less custimers.

You got the part about the messy barber shop correct, but not about the barbers' hair.

Psychicmind I believe that Maiko is correct. The ship in the middle of the sea is not necessarily anchored vertically. The ship will rise with the tide.
As for the tree making a sound, it depends. When you say no one, does that include animals? If no, then a sound is made. If yes, then there is no noise. Noise is vibration, but ear drums convert the vibrations into sound. So, without any ear drums, there is no noise.

Why does he choose the first barbershop? easy .since the first shop has hair all over floor he does all the cuts. And since there are only two barbers the one with neat hair got his hair cut at the first barber's

Easy, The elevator only goes up to the 10th floor so he has to take the stairs the rest of the way up.
