Cyrec I love that bone dragon tat you were talking about.. the idea is just freaking awesome lol... I promise not to steal it but I can definately see the idea inspiring me for ideas on my memorial tat...

Will do.. though it will probably be quite some time... when I get the ideas sketched out a bit better in my mind I may put a few pics up to see what everyone else thinks.. I have an idea or two.. just not sure if I could pull them off or when I'd ever be able to afford them...

I love tattoos. I have 8 butterflies on my back.. looks like they are flying from the bottom up across to the top. I got one then 2 more then 2 more then 3. i want to do something to kind of connect them all but havent decided on what. for me these were a sort of memorial. when someone close to me passed away i got them, butterflies for fragility of life, new life, transition, and so on.

A friend of mine wanted to do a memorial tattoo for twelve of her army buddies that died recently. She ended up with each name on a separate dog tag with the date on the dog tag in the middle. They all "hung" on a chain that "lays" on her left hip. The tags cascaded down her hip and the side of her thigh. Maybe you could use charms instead of dog tags.
I would love to get one but can't stand pain or needles. I've heard there is an anesthetic they can use so it doesn't hurt but that might just be a rumor. Any tips on lessening the pain?

I have a dragon on my chest and a butterfly on my ankle. I love my tatts and cant wait to get more, just as soon as I get more money lol.

I got my first one 23 years ago, and it's the man in the moon and star on the back of my neck. Then I got my second one this summer with a friend by a guy who does custom ones, on a trip to Cali:

Stupid question time! XD Does color ink sting more than black ink? I've heard so many different stories and all of them from people who don't have ink. O_o Just an odd out there picking at my brain question XD lmao

I have a set of wolf's paws on my left hip. They are red with a celtic design in the middle. My mom let me get one for my 18th bday 4 years ago.

I want a new tattoo!! I have figured out what I want but I don't know how to do it and where to put it. What I really want is the phases of the moon in a circle and the constellation of Gemini in the center. But that can get big and may look gaudy. I REALLY want something on my other foot too... so I was also thinking that I should put the constellation on my foot and make the phases of the moon into a bracelet around my ankle connected by small stars or something....

I've got 1...got it about 6 and a half years ago for my 18th.
I never got anymore but always wanted to...I'm saving to get a big job done, I got a tribal arm band...nothing flash but its ok...but I want to get my son's name on my left arm in Old English style writing and Have my entire left arm done as a tribal sleeve with the name as the main point...
I also want to get a full sleeve done of Japanese art on my right arm, with a dragon Koi as the main focus and It's gotta have a hannya on there as well....but I haven't decided what else to get....
My Fiancee design's tribal tattoo's as well...but shes having a hard time with drawing up a full sleeve for me...so if anyone has any ideas...and I'm not opposed to it comming out over my hand either smile

I got a few ideas for Tattoo's I want done.. but they are going to be ones.. I can hide for work related purposes.. since most companys are no no on tattoo's!
