Where there was nothing left but bile to cough up, Sid quickly moved away, which inadvertantly put him moving towards Billy. He stopped short and... what was he supposed to do? Swim up and apologize for biting part of his tentacle off? He swam to shore and got out of the water on shaky legs. The adrenaline from what happen was fading, leaving him feeling unsteady and sick.
He couldn't just leave after that, though he wanted very badly to do so. Instead he stumbled over to Billy. He should have made the most of the tequila when he had the chance.

"Me... me... me arm... ye... ye bloody... me... I..." Billy whispered, eyes quivering as he gaped up at the preditor with his blood still dribbling from it's teeth (for all he knew). "Stay... stay away...!" His color dipped down to a muddy brown, as though he were trying to hide from Sid, but in too much pain to think clearly.

"Look, I didn't mean to do it!" Sid snapped. "You grabbed me and..."
He couldn't say it, so he waved his hand vaguely. One thing had led to another. Not wanting to admit he hadn't quite been in control, he tried to tell himself anyone would react like that... but to swallow it?
He shook his head, guilt roiling with disgust and anger.
"I'm sorry."

"Ye'... feckin'... bloody... y'go'... s-stay away!" He was panicking, his color changing and splotching irratically as he tried to crawl away, but the pain from his wounded tentacle and the changes that weren't finished just yet stopped him from going too far too fast.

"Alright, alright!" Sid held his hands up. "I'll go."
He turned and started walking away. "See? Going now."
He felt like s**t, simple as that.

Billy cowered, clutching the stump befor he finally seemed to get his bearings, throbbing, still swelling tentacles grabbing at the rocks to heave himself back into the water, quickly vanishing below the surface.
