first time i ate a solid food i was 45 years old as i was born with a birth defect and i could have anything i wanted all i wanted was a hot dog and it is still my favorite food.....

first time I failed a test was in college. It was such a shock...
First time you had to drive somewhere you weren't familiar with (this one still frightens me!).

I hate to say this but I've never gotten that lost LOL! Though I have gotten lost and it took me ten minutes to finally get the "right" directions from someone (all others were morons and gave me the wrong directions).
How about the first time you bought an item that you used to get embarrased about buying, but no longer got embarrased at?

I was playing vollyball in my high school and "telescoped" my middle and ring fingers of my left hand. Couldn't write properly for months (I'm left handed mrgreen )

My dad was teaching me to drive and this insane other driver barreled through a red light and almost hit us. I said several choice swear words. After we pulled over and calmed down it occured to me what I said in front of my dad. He just laughed and said the situation definately called for it.
What was the first time someone was really rude to you and you were able to laugh it off.

16, one of the other girls on my gymnastics team said something rude to me, and I had to laugh it off since Ihad to be a good role model for the rest of the girls.
