He nodded and stood to make his way back to the food. "Hopefully it will taste as good." Conversation wasn't his strong point though it seemed she was fine fine in silence at least he hoped.

She was perfectly fine with silence. It was something that she had become accustomed to since she started living on her own... Save for the occassional sound of song, or the sounds of Soquili and the forest.
She sat on the log by the fire, reaching forward to dish out two bowls of the stew. She held one out to Tsisqua, waiting for him to take it before taking her own. As delicious as the aromas tickling her nose were she didn't want to offend him by devouring her own food first.

He took the bowl and after a quiet prayer he started nibbling at the stew. He could hear things moving about in the plants that surrounded the lake but mostly ignored them. He'd not seen anything dangerous this close to the water yet even though he knew there were bound to be snakes somewhere.

She waited for a moment after he began eating before she joined him, finishing off her meal easily. Once finished she brought her bowl down to the lakeside to wash it, trying not to shiver as the cold water caressed her fingertips and the wind brushed against her ankles.

He walked over to wash his own bowl. "There is no reason for you to stay out in the cold." She would be warmer in the teepee where there were blankets. "I can clean"

She snorted softly as she reached out, taking his bowl from him. "I did not help prepair the meal. I did not serve the meal. I would have been trying to drag the doe back to my camp still had you not happened upon me. I can bare the chill long enough to wash two bowls." She nodded as she continued to wash the objects in question. "I am not other women. Cool air does not frighten me."

He almost laughed, almost, but she was a warrior and that would have been a bad move. "And i am not other men. It is cold and i did not ask you to help. Please." He held out his hands for the bowls.

She eyed him warily as she stood there with the bowls in hand, not wanting to surrender. She huffed softly, finally handing the bowls to the brave before stalking back to the camp in order to plop back down in front of the fire. No matter what he said... She was not sleeping inside his teepee.

He scrubbed off the bowls before returning them to their rack. Looking at her he sighed to himself. "It is cold ... only those with a healthy coat would be out in this night." He had plenty of those furs inside but she was not inside.

"As long as the fire burns I will be fine." She nodded as she let her gaze drift off into the flames. He had behaved well as a brave thusfar, acting with much more restraint than any of the men of her village had... But she did not want to test their friendship already.

"The fire will not ward off the chill." He moved into his teepee for a moment and came back out with a blanket made of wolf hide. "Nothing compares to the power of the winds when they wish for something. It would not be wise to invite them to try to dim the fire"

She glanced up at him as he moved towards her with the blanket. His actions thusfar had seemed nothing but honorable. Had he any thoughts on his mind he could have overpowered her at any moment... And now he stood, holding a blanket to her while she sat on the cold ground by a dying fire looking like a fool.
She stood slowly, pushing her pride aside as she moved towards him. Amongst her people it had not been uncommon to spend a night beside someone for warmth... But she hadn't been comfortable doing so since the arguments had broken out amongst the braves. Suddenly, somehow, everything had changed. As she stood there, watching him cautiously she found herself wondering... Could she trust him?

"I have enough blankets to provide you with a bed along with one for myself." He wrapped the blanket around her shoulders. "There is no reason to be cold."
He had been raised to honor others and he would have never though anything other than providing her with warmth.

"Wa-do, Tsisqua." She brought her hands up, holding the blanket against her body as a slight smile curved the corners of her lips. "You are a good, wise man. I am lucky to be able to count you amongst my friends." She nodded slowly.

"I am not wise as i should be." He bowed his head slightly before turning to motion to his teepee. "Come ..." Leaning down he took a stick from the fire outside to add to the one in his teepee, that would keep it going though the night so neither of them were cold.
