1313.EXE fakestreet japoniano Enduring Ideal, COMPLETELY useless! Not even playing the hondens makes this worth it there's a decklist that won Nationals that would disagree with you =P Enduring Ideal is the only Epic with enough combination of versatility and power to be played. Endless Swarm and Eternal Dominion costs too much for an effect that is easy to play around. Undying Flames and Neverending Torment can be interesting but the inner synergy of the deck based on them is lacking. -still doesn't prove anythin'. sweatdrop would you like to play me using that deck then? =P

I think that epic spells are only good as a last chance since you can't play anything after you play one, so if your going to play one then you better make it count or you will lose... but personally my favourite is endless swarm because it works so well if you have cards that let you have no maximum hand size.

The white epic is pretty interesting. The blue one is pretty cool, and so is the black. The green one almost sucks (snake deck+coat of arms). The red one sucks, except maybe with dragons and top. The epic ability is pretty interesting and fun in casual.

I think epic is a cool ability but it causes you to sacrifice so much playable time. It is good for casual but in tournament play it might not hold up well.

It is conditionaly ok, if you have Mirari and lots of mana then you are ok, or counterspells on a stick to cover your a** then they are not bad (except the white one that fetches worship solitary confinement etc...)

Isochron Scepter does NOT get around Epic. i'll allow you to read it again and figure out why:

i enjoy how the epic cards set up a new way to play... you will be completeley limited in your actions.. but get a uber powerup in return.
i want to build a decka round epic.. i odnt know what it would look like but i do know it would be super cool to play it.

Undying flames: great spell as long as you have some big spells also if you have a black Bringer in play well you can put any card on the top of your libary for 2 life. Neverending Torment: OK for a milling but it is liek craninal extraction but you never get to play another spell but that.
Eternal_Dominion. Horrible you can't really get an advantage with only playing one spell. Unless you arcane labs you can;t get any advantage.
Enduring Ideal: It is good it has a deck based around it. I am pissed that it is suck a mean deck.
Endless swarm- Would be interesting if some one could find a way to use it in a glare deck.

No. Possibly the worst idea ever. xp It may as well read: Screw yourself over for the rest of the game.

mustache_2 I find the white epic to be incredible.... The rest are meh... ya i would have to agree wiht you there... the white epic is a good one.. possabley too good. i build a deck aournd it and i was basically unable to be killed... much better then haveing platinum angel/ darksteel forge combo. i used cards like test of endurence adn defencive echantments to prevent me from dieing. then i would jsut gain 50 life and win. it was a bad way to win but at lwast it did the job.

Angelic Celestia No. Possibly the worst idea ever. xp It may as well read: Screw yourself over for the rest of the game. well....the point of epics are to end the game...so it doesn't matter if you screw yourself over for the rest of the game, because there is no rest of the game...
