But he doesn't take photos of me, so we likely won't.

Agreed OP. I think that us bigger girls need to wear something we are comfortable in but also something that flatters us. I don't think anyone should drown themselves in clothes but at the same time don't try and squeeze into clothes that don't fit.

I have no idea why girls do that. I had to look at what you were talking about and I have to say when I was in high school, I think it was american eagle or something of that nature that I saw girls really jam themselves into smaller clothing. I mean, I guess if they're comfortable wearing it, who's to stop them. I personally don't like wearing tight fitted items. I don't think they look flattering on me, unless it's things like corset, bustiers, and the like. Torrid had this new high waisted thong tummy shaper that I'm mildly interested in getting and I normally wouldn't be. I also have to commend torrid for making knee length boots with wider calf widths for gals like me who are pretty much fat all over lol.
