"Very well."
[Sonata closed his eyes, and then began to run his mind through a series of rigorous decisions. He could either take her to Sunagakure, to the hidden shrine and make her one of the Kuro No Kage, or he could simply begin training her and then perform the rite when they were finished with her training. Mm...no. No, as a Kaguya, she already posessed limitless potential and if she went back on her decision he would lose a valuable protege. Turning in place, sweeping his sandal across the ground, he lifted his hand, removing his ronin hat.]
[The straw frisbee-like hat blew off in the wind as he spoke to her, once he had released the hat into the passing breeze.]
"My name is Sonata Uchiha. I am the sole survivor of the Uchiha Clan, and am the founder and leader of the Kuro No Kage, or Black Shadow organization."
[He said this with his low, authoritive voice, even though it's melodic qualities made it seem a little less tense. Once he was finished speaking, he opened his cloak and held it into the air, so she may get a better look at him. Under the cloak, he wore a pair of black martial artists' pants, and a black, long sleeved robe that blew in the breeze along with his cloak, an imperial shirt. His hair was very long, and seemed to reach his knees, swaying with hs movement, the bangs in front of his eyes covered his face about down to his chin.]
[He dropped his cloak and closed it up as it had usually been, and looked up to her, speaking again.]
"And your title, Kaguya?"

Ran examined him, taking in detale of what was hidden beneith his cloak. She looked up to him when he spoke once more. Holding her hands in front of her, her palms facing him, she used a small bit of chakra to allow a few bones to grow into spikes at the end of each finger. Reaching each hand off, she broke off every one, her skin and nerves in the ends of her fingers growing back as she did so.
"I am Ran Kaguya, the sole survivor of the Kaguya Clan..." Ran stated, giving off a small cough. After the last bone fragment was broken off, she wiggled her fingers a bit. "I am a wanderer, as I have no real home, ever since the deaths of my clan, and later, my brother." Her fists clenched a bit at that. "Basically, I am alone, and always have been." She didn't know what to say, after that.

"Good."
[Sonata turned away from her, and lifted two fingers out towards the town. He allowed chakra to pour from his fingers and fly outward, and then turned it down, to the left and arch back up. Soon after, his ronin hat landed between his two fingers, the chakra within it returning to his body. He closed his eyes for a moment, and then placed the hat atop his head, turning back to Ran. Summoning another ronin hat from the stone, and then manipulating it's chemical makeup to turn it to straw, he tossed it to her in hopes she would catch it.]
"These hat's will hide your identity, and provide a small amount of shade for your head when we cross the desert."
[Turning away from her, Sonata looked out to the desert that seemed so far, and yet he had crossed it so many times it had become his home away from home. He looked back to her, nodding.]
"Let's go."
((We can either describe crossing the desert or time-skip straight off. Since noone but us two seem to be coming here, I guess we could do a personal time-skip about three or four years if you want.))

((*shrugs* It's all up to you.))
Ran had barely caught the hat. She held it in her hands for a moment, feeling the material between her fingers. After a while of staring at it, she gave a nod before resting it on her head. She'd looked out where he was looking for a moment, and then followed his gaze back to her. She gave a slight nod when he spoke. "Right." She murmered.

[Three and a half years had passed since Sonata had drug Ran from her home. He had learned quite a bit about the Kaguya, and her past troubles. They were just about as bad as his own. Still, he had kept to himself, revealing no more information to her than he had three years ago. He had told her in order for him to teach her, he had to know her, and so he had made her tell him of her past. It had been an easy training regime, and the girl had exceeded expectations. Sonata had taught her, but she had done the work, and proved herself more than worthy.]
[Right now, they were in his underground cavern hidden deep under the Sunagakure. They hadn't left this room, this one large room, with nothing but weapons and training items, for three whole years. His hair had grown long enough to reach the ground, the very end tips of it. He had even mastered a new form of Sharingan. The Chigatana Sharingan(Blood blade copy wheel eye). This form of Sharingan allowed him to see an opponent's bone structure and through it the veins in which chakra passed. He had recieved this by watching the Kaguya's training.]
[It required a great deal of chakra, however. Two out of his now five tanks. He had taught the Kaguya how to divide her chakra into seperate tanks and astoundingly she had matched his five. She posessed great potential. Sonata stood up, looking about for Ran. In his right hand was a black cloth, folded in his hand, very neat and recently made or sewn.]
"Ran."
[He called out to the cavern.]

Ran lifted her head when she heard his voice. Her hair had grown out past her shoulders, and she had pulled it back into a long braid. Giving a cough, the Kaguya stood from where she rested and headed out to where Sonata was.
Although she'd grown in knowledge and strength, her Illness had grown a little with her, as well. It was still not bad, at all, but it now left her constantly coughing, instead of just when she was low on Chakra. Walking up to Sonata, she nodded her head slightly to him in recognition. "Yes... Sonata-sensei?" She had come to call him this since the begining of her training, and actually thought it fit him. Afterall, he was her teacher. She gave another small cough and awaited his reply patiently.

"That's just it."
[He lifted his hand and threw the cloth in her direction. Upon unfolding it, she would find it was one of the cloaks he wore, black with red clouds on it. He lowered his hand and closed his eyes for a moment. Just a little longer. With his Chigatana sharingan, he could find out what her illness was, and hope to cure it. But he couldn't maintain it for more than five minutes, and the operation, he was certain, would take longer. He had to admit, he had grown attached to Ran in the time they had been together. He was only a few, possibly two or three, years older than her, yet he is her sensei. Well, was.]
"That's just it, Ran. I am no longer your sensei. It has been three years, to date, and you have graduated and passed this exam of mine with soaring results. You are now the second in command of the Kuro no Kage."
[He said, watching her with his blood red eyes. He was going blind, and he could tell. His vision was blurring and he was having a hard time reading. Three years back, when they had first met and he had read that wanted poster, he hadn't torn it off because of the bounty, but because of his picture. He had no way of reading anymore unless he activated the sharingan. Oh well, it mattered not. He seemed to stare just a little less colder at her than at others, now that he had become slightly accustomed to her presence.]
"You are now my equal, and I will treat you as such, Ran."

Ran's eyes flashed wide for a moment, before narrowing just slightly as she unfolded the cloak and examined it. She looked back to Sonata curiously. "As equals..." She echoe'd, almost as if tasting the words. She'd never actually thought she'd wind up like this... only three years before was she trembling before him, a little runt in her newfound vocabulary, barely living a semi-acceptable life in the village of Konoha, but now...
Ran shook her head just slightly at her own thoughts, giving a small cough before shifting and swinging the cloak around her. It fit almost perfactly, yet she noted that there would probably always be plenty of room to grow, when she needed. Afterall, she had grown, but she wasn't done, yet. Smoothing out the fabric against her form, she looked back up at Sonata. "I... am honored." She stated simply.
Ran had come to learn that gestures could make up for words, looks could speak when one did not want to use words. She'd learned that from watching Sonata, observing and learning his silent means of communication, though she'd not learned all of his speech, yet. There were still some things that confused her, but she knew she'd figure them out, eventually.

"Don't be. You earned it."
[He said lightly, and then began to walk forward. As he walked past her, he placed his hand on her shoulder and squeezed it lightly, his first show of affection between the two of them, and began towards the cavern wall. Lifting his hand, he slid a panel of stone aside and a small handle tied to a chain lay inside. He pulled it swiftly, pulling his elbow back, and the wall next to the panel began to rise, crunching as the debris and rock build-up of three years past fell away. Sonata had trained alone in this very same room for his entire life, and so it was nothing new to him.]
[Still, he had to squint when the pure sunlight hit. He had grown used to the candle light inside of the cavern. Closing his eyes tightly for a moment, he slowly began to open them. His eyes went wide in surprise when he realized his error. He hadn't been going blind at all! His chigatana sharingan had supported his eye level greatly, and caused his sense of sight to sharpen. All he had needed was a solar burst to jump start the molecules, his vision came into complete focus. Turning around to look at Ran, he was actually able to visibly memorize her outlook.]
[This was good. This was very good. But, he held his monotone expression. As usual. He tilted his head towards the exit. They had a two minute span between now and then to leave the room before the door shut again.]
"Let's go. Grab anything you may need before leaving."

Ran had lifted a hand to sheild her eyes from the bright light, and it took her longer to adjust to the new light. She gave a nod at his instruction. Disappearing back into the cavern, she only grabbed to items; the headbands she'd worn when traveling there, and most of her life save for the past three years. Finding a pocket for those, she placed them in it instead of wearing them, before grabbing her hat and returning to where Sonata stood waiting.
"Ready..." Ran murmered, her thoughts only now traveling to the shoulder-squeeze he'd placed upon her. Affection was not something they'd showed towards eachother frequently... actually, it practically never happened. A small smile graced her lips. She hadn't mastered masking her emotions, yet, but that was something that she had a feeling would happen eventually, whether she wanted to, or not. Coughing, Ran looked up at Sonata expectantly.

[Sonata blinked twice as he watched her retrieve her items, and turned away from her, and began walking the stairs to exit. Once they were out, the door slid to a close behind them. Sonata emerged behind a small building, a tavern. When they emerged from the opening, the ground slid shut behind them, sand covering the steel cover as it would seem it was neevr there. Three times he had to kill someone who saw him, but that didn't matter. It was always homeless of whom noone cared for. Sonata looked over his shoulder at Ran.]
"The purpose of our organization....No. The purpose of our clan, is to gain more power, and more, until we become stronger than any shinobi alive. In order to do that, we have to introduce ourselves into this war. Profusely. In order to do so, we need to kill the kage of the foremost village in terms of wonder; the Konoha."
[He said this with little to no remorse in his voice. This was how they would begin. They would emerge out into the war, a pair of ruthless murderers, and begin their fighting by telling the world they existed. The ANBU couldn't cover up the death of the Hokage. He had said clan because both Ran and Sonata had nowhere else to go. This was their place, in the Kuro no Kage. That would not change.]

Ran followed Sonata, and kept her eyes on him as he spoke, and gave a small nod that she understood. When he stopped speaking, she glanced around at the scenery, taking in it all. She remembered that one particular tree had been smaller then it was now, when shed' first followed Sonata into the confines of the cave- their home for the past three years. A few other detales had also changed, she noted. Everything changes in time.
Ran lifted a hand and coughed into it, but seemed un-effected by it; no unease about it's meaning showing simply because she was used to it. Basically... We have to show them a reason to fear us, before we can strike fear into the hearts of all and brand our... clan name into their minds. She thought. It made sense, she deemed, and the change from Organization to clan also was a bit more fitting.

[Sonata stopped walking suddenly, halting in his footsteps. That sound. Closing his eyes, he focused his chakra to his eardrums and pulsated the soundwaves coming into them. The sounds of running feet, at least five pairs. Clothing, all one item on each pair of feet, insinuating they were wearing cloaks. They weren't panting, despite the fact they were running so fast. He also noticed that the sound of their feet against the sound symbolized they were moving in an orderly, five to a wall squadron. This was not good, as he knew that formation.]
"Get back."
[Putting his hand to her collarbone, his voice dropped to a whisper as he pushed her back and then his own, whispering to her.]
"The ANBU are here."

Ran blinked slightly, a little confused. ANBU? How did they know where we are? she thought, looking around and gazing at the tree's. She then began wondering... If there were ANBU coming just as they left the cave, either they'd been spotted, or their leaving had been planned, and someone had been notified. She looked over to Sonata, wondering if this wasn't just some sort of test.
Ran often thought like that in the cave. She tried to pick out each indevidual little test, quiz, or anything the Uchiha did to check on her training. Her eyes went back to scanning the area around them. "What will we do?" She asked with a calm, quiet voice. She wanted to know what Sonata wanted to do before she made assumptions. A cough into her hand was issued, but she allowed the cloth of her cloak to muffle it a bit.

"Sh."
[He hushed her quickly, his eyes slanted as he grunted under his breath. This wasn't good. They could take out five ANBU members, not a problem, the problem was if they notified any of the kage's of their presence their assassination would go with a failed motive and they would simply be covered up. Not good enough. Sonata looked down to Ran, realizing his hand was still on her stomach. Removing it as a small tinge of color went to his cheeks, he quickly looked off, pretending like he was focusing in on the ANBU squadron.]
"We'll need to take them all down in one hit...I guess now's a good a time as any to figure out if your training paid off, Ran. Come. I'll draw them out to the desert, and you eliminate them. Alright?"
[He asked, turning back to her once his expression of hard-set, harsh and cruelty returned.]
