With his drink done and nothing else required of him, Kaleb conjured his usual glowing portal. "I'm going to go home and get some more sleep. Goodnight!" He said with a smile, before stepping back through the portal to try and catch another couple hours of sleep.

After spending a hour rummaging though his house for any extra potions and not finding anything useful he flopped onto the couch and poked at his wrists. You really couldn't see anything with his fur in the way but damn it if it didn't hurt. Not that he'd been complaining at the time though.
Snagging his phone off the coffee table he decided he could make an unauthorized call for use of Kaleb's powers. Demy was out wandering around and Rude was still asleep so maybe no one would notice.

Kaleb blinked as he heard the phone ring from the table next to his bed, surprised he would be getting another call so soon after the last. He closed his book and shoved the massive thing off his lap, then ran from the livingroom to pick up the phone and flip it open. "Hello?"

"Oh good .. you're awake." he slid over so he was laying across the couch. "I need to borrow your talents for a bit .... since i'm out of potions and all."

"I've been awake for hours," Kaleb said, looking at the digital clock next to his bed. Even if he had slept in, he still would have been up well before now. "Are you at the office?" The mage asked.

Kaleb really wanted to know how Reno could get hurt enough to need him when he wasn't working, but it must not have been too bad or the redhead would be screaming or something. "You won't mind if I portal next to you then?" The mage asked. It simply wouldn't be polite to spell himself right into someone else's home without asking first.

"Nah ... " Since he knew it was comming it wouldn't surprise him. Though sadly he wouldn't get to see Kaleb in his pj's again since the kid had been awake for a while.

"Okay, I'll be over in a sec," Kaleb said, forming the portal spell as he spoke, and stepped into Reno's livingroom right as he ended the call and snapped the phone shut.

Reno was still stretched out on his couch in a pair of loose black pants. "That really is a handy trick." He grinned as he sat up slightly.

Kaleb grinned lopsidedly. "It is. It makes carrying groceries home much easier." His smile faded a bit as he regarded Reno with a more serious look. "What was the problem?" He asked.

He held up his wrists. "Rope burn ... hurts like ******** every time i bend them" His grin didn't move from across his muzzle.

Kaleb frowned. "How did you end up with rope burn?" He asked reaching over to touch Reno's hand and let a simple spell fix the problem... along with a number of other small injuries that certainly hadn't been there the night before when the mage had healed his bullet wound. He gave Reno a rather confused look as he pulled his hand back.

He rolled his head. "Aw .. you didn't have to fix that one." He was missing a bite mark Rude had left on him now. Smirking he sat up all the way. "Guess i'll just have to get rude to put it back."

Kaleb's look only got more confused. Rude bit him? Perhaps he really didn't want to know about the rope burn.
