"There is a barn? This I have got to see." Kris seems eager to go to the barn, never really having seen one. He did read about it in some of his books though, and it always sounded like so much fun to be in, at least in the books there were.

Bryan turned and saw that she hadn't followed him up the stairs. "Did I lose you?" he called as he went back down the stairs to the kitchen. "Hungry?" he asked looking to make sure Amberie had set her a place. "There's a spot for you right there."
"Just a minute and I'll go with you..."She gave Ahmi a firm look when Ahmi gave her the sad puppy eyes. It didn't last long though. "Go ahead. I'll be out in a minute."
"Thank you Grammy!" she chirped to butter her up before running toward the back door. "This way Kris!" She held the door and waied for him, smiling at waving at the new girl when she entered.

Kris moves his chair and follows her to the door.
"My chair isn't going to get in the way, will it?" You can see he isn't fully use to the chair, for he has a tendency to wobble as he moves around, finding it hard to move in a strait line.

"It shouldn't...The doors are wide as it the path down the middle of the barn..." She suddenly went wide eyed. "I have to muck out Davey's stall!" she yelped. She wasn't late or anything, but she usually did it immediately after eating.

What is mucking a stall? Well, I am about to find out.
He rolls his chair through the doorway, getting over the bump of the doorway with ease, this time.
(Does the chair fall a little, onto the ground, or does it stay level the entire way?)

((I'd say falls just a tiny bit. There's a ramp out front, but Bryan will have to add ramps elsewhere.))
"I don't know... I'm not supposed to let Davey out without Margaret or Bryan here..." she said uncertainly. Davey was only a foal, but he spooked easily.

"OK. I don't really know what you guys do around here anyway. I guess I will have to learn eventually." Kris says quiet simply. He simply follows you around, wheeling as best he can in the dirt. A few spots slow him down, for he hits a rock that is difficult to get over.

Amberie looked back with a smile. "Working with the horses is so much fun! You want help?" she asked when she saw him struggle. She slowed down a bit and waited for him to catch up. "I think Bryan will assign you a horse tonight or tomorrow... I have to work with Davey later... Right now I need to feed him and clean his stall..."

"Horses? Really? Aren't they big?" He just seems to try and plug on by himself, untill he gets stuck in a rut. One of the wheels get lodged into a hole in the ground, passably made by a horse. He tries to back up, but ends up not being able to, then he tries to move forward, still not moving much.

"Some are...Davey is going to be REALLY big. He's a draft horse foal...like the budweiser clydsdales..." She say he was stuck and waited a moment for him to try and get out before walking around behind the wheel chair. "Let me get you out of that rut..."

"Stupid chair. Why can't it move!" Kris just sits back and crosses his arms over his chest. He grudgingly accepts her help, realizing that there was no way he would get out on his own power, at least no yet.
"So they get really big? Don't you ever worry that one might kick you or something?"

"I was...I still am with the older horses...and sometimes Davey...he get's scared easily..." She pushed him out of the rut, then let go and walked to his side to walk next to him again. "Are you nervous?" she asked him, resting a hand on teh arm rest of his wheel chair as she walked.

"No not really, I just have never been around a horse before. So what do you do with them?" Kris asks. He may live in a town, but he doesn't know much about country living. He continues to roll the chair on his own, this time trying to be aware of the ditches and rock, avoiding them as best as he can.

"Sort of." Her eyes looked at the food uninterested as well as everything else she looked at. Klein looked rather bored and could bore you easily as you just watch her. Her hands were under her legs from wanting to fidget with a utensil or something else.
