Carefully sidestepping out of the path of the rolling egg, Halenar watched it's awkward progress across the sands. Wondering if the hatchling within would be dizzy from the wild ride, he hoped it stopped to properly hatch soon, before the dragon was injured.

Thankfully, the egg finally did crack, and he watched as the gorgeous blue within emerged healthy, though apparantly a little unsteady. Watching hopefully, his heart sank as the blue made it's way to Akai.

Blazren grinned as the dragonet came out of its rolling egg and chose someone. He started to drift slowly towards the other eggs, wondering if the queen would mind. Alerai looked dissappointed as the blue dragonet chose Akai. Not that she minded, she was glad Akai got one! But... She got a little closer towards the remaining eggs, hoping she was doing the right thing.

((Ermmm... Akai?))

"Um, Akai..." Freya pointed a finger at the blue dragonet behind the girl. "Somehow I don't think we need a plan anymore..."

Lirin smiled slightly and nodded, though it looked rather more like a smirk. That was just his way, though. "Aye." His eyes went back to the eggs rocking back and forth.

Freya smiled at Kopi. "Looks like you have a new friend to meet, little one," she said softly to him. However, the cavern began resounding with the shattering noises of more eggs cracking, and her head snapped back to the action. She was afraid to miss one moment of all of this.

Ray laughed along with the rest at the little blue's antics. The sounds of additional eggs cracking, many at once, caught her attention, shell after shell splitting, some haphazzardly, some tidily, some messily. There was a collective gasp as the first bronze cracked shell, making a shrill attempt at roaring his way into the world, unaware of the tiny shards stuck fast to its wings as it thrashed about in the open air.

Two greens and two other blues were now attempting to find their feet and determine which way was up, a few, still not entirely sure about such things, attempting to make their way to the candidates. Ray felt her heart melt as a brown shrugged his way out of his shell, taking only seconds to orient himself.

One dragonet found its person quickly, she being several steps closer than the rest of the Candidates. I found you! she told Alira proudly.

Bouncing giddily, another met its person. Mine mine mine!, he said gleefully to Lirin.

The brown, amazingly quick and steady on its legs already, passed his stumbling siblings and stopped directly in front of Alerai. There you are!

Ray found herself hard-pressed to keep track of the sudden scrambling, but it seemed to her that several Impressions happened nearly at once.

The bronze and green were still looking, but the third blue to break shell finally discovered the use of its legs and hurried toward one of the boys and claimed him, !!! My name is ..., he said to Halenar.

Kopi trilled as akai and Tolyth moved to the side. He was alredy witggling every bit of himself he could figure out how to wiggle, and had stumbled only to be gently helped by akai.

"Thank you for helpoing kopi" she said taking him from Freya then she knelt down so that Tollyth and Kopi could meet each other. they touched nosese as Kopi stared at the bigger version of himself almost.

THen he trilled his approvial.. but also warned that the nest in akai's hair was his and he wasn't sharing.

Akai laughd out loud and TOllyth crooned in agreement.

I do not think i'd fit in your hair! He spoke to Akai who nodded giggling soflty. This was going to be.. odd.. her Tollyth seemed well.. almost hyperactive for a dragon. Then agian what did she know about dragons..

I am hungry! Tollyth announced to Akai and Kopi happly echoed the words

"alright alright.. lets move out of the way so that the others have plenty of room" she said smiling " I'm sure there will be food soon.." well.. she hoped. Her hand rubbed Kopi then Tollyth's eye rieges and they crooned at her.

"Looks like others have come out also." she said glancing at the sound of so many cracking eggs and trillls and bugles. She smiled happly, this was the most amazing day to her. She had Kopi and Tollyth and they were going to be together for ever, she just knew it.

Balint watched as four more dragonets impressed one bing to Balint's new friend Lirin. Balint smiled at Lirin and patted him on the back. "I believe he is yours." Balint said with a bright smile for the trader boy and with luck friend. Looking to the other two hatched dragonets still searching Balint spotted the bronze. He was a beauty. Such a strong creature and a proud male trying to show his dominance off right at the beginning.
